I have been chinese food for sixty one years.I had chinese business partners in restaurants.This restaurant spoiled everything else for me down here in the sarasota area.I don't even wanna go to my local takeout.Anymore
Awesome and best place for Chinese Food. But they are closed until Thursday July 9th

Based on recent reviews, Taste Of Hong Kong offers amazing food with a quiet atmosphere and quick service. The spicy chicken pad Thai was unbelievable, and the cashew chicken had amazing flavor. Edamame and egg rolls were fresh, and the egg drop soup was some of the best remembered. The grouper and egg plant clay pot is a favorite, and the Hong Kong specialties, especially anything with XO sauce like the XO seafood chow fun, are highly recommended. The salt-and-pepper eggplant is fantastic. The general tsaos chicken and orange chicken are both fantastic with good quality meat and good portions. The crab rangoon has a great crunch and creaminess. It is easily the best and freshest Chinese food in Sarasota area, offering large portions even at lunch time. The food is Americanized Chinese food, but still delicious. The staff is extremely kind, helpful, and warm. Prices are very reasonable. The only reason service and atmosphere is not five star is because it is so popular and crowded. The heat level on dishes could be hotter, so asking for extra hot is suggested. This is a great place and a gem for comfort food.
