“We rode our bikes to Casey Key and had a fantastic lunch at CKFH. We fortunately arrived right before the 11:30 opening, and were 2nd on line. Our table was right on the dock overlooking the water. “Went there Sunday night, with a large party for a birthday. Our waiter was on point. I made a joke as to the screw up on food, seeing I have no filter, not sure if it was taken wrong. However, it was made right, bit it was disappointing that the original steak I ordered was medium rare and the second one arrived well done. Again the service was accommodating, yet by this time everyone else was finishing up with dessert. I will love to go back, and i will. The only downfall was that my entree was a special and not served all the time. Hence the 4 stars on communication and delivery of food. BTW, the bacon and eggs was delicious and will order again.“

“We had dinner at Siegfried's Restaurant on Feb. 26th - our third meal there and we always leave with big smiles on our faces. The schnitzel and sauerbraten are both excellent, as are the sides and desserts. The staff is warm and engaging and we were so happy to meet and speak with the chef/owner. The restaurant is in one of the cozy-looking cottages on Fruitville Rd and is the perfect setting for this authentic German restaurant. Be sure you make a reservation and be prepared to enjoy a fantastic German meal!“

“It's a little deli in a gas stating but the food is awesome. Talked to the owner while my sándwiches were being made, and she is very pleasant and friendly. I had a empanada while I waited and also sample the chicken, ropa vieja a d pork. All excelent. Some people May think is a bit pricey, but not for the tate, size of portioned and favor. Highly recomended.“

“We visited Bella Vida Italian Kitchen (501 N. Geneva Rd., Sarasota, FL 34232 – 941-365-5555) and were absolutely blown away. The pasta carbonara came highly recommended, and it did not disappoint in fact, it was the best carbonara we’ve ever had, even compared to dishes we’ve enjoyed while traveling in Italy. The osso bucco was incredible as well, with portions so generous that they happily boxed up the leftovers for us. For dessert, the cannoli was truly to die for, and the coffee was perfection. Every single part of the meal exceeded our expectations.We were so impressed that we’ve decided to use this restaurant to cater our wedding. Rocco, the owner, sat with us and personally greeted us, along with the wonderful servers. The whole place has an authentic, welcoming family vibe, and everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy. The restaurant is spotless honestly the cleanest restaurant in Sarasota and even the bathrooms are immaculate. Everything about Bella Vida was above and beyond anything we’ve experienced in Sarasota. “I visited this store with my girlfriend because she saw the “key lime pie” sign on 41. We turned around and got it and it was very good (one of the slices was frozen but when it thawed it was good). We also had the key lime truffles and they were WAAY too sweet. However, the key lime pie was so good my girlfriend went back and got some. The first time we went, the girl said she could cut it into 6 or 8 if we bought an entire pie. When my girlfriend requested it to be cut, she said that she wasn’t able to. We’re confused why that was. For a $30 pie, requesting to get it sliced doesn’t seem like a big ask. It was also frozen.“
