was recently at The Sand Bar for a beautiful and intimate wedding on a postcard perfect Friday night. I was not involved in the planning of this wedding leading up to that wonderful night but the Bride and Groom had nothing but good things to say about the staff here that assisted them in all their preparations. Went for an early dinner while on vacation. Love the complimentary valet parking! That came in handy with one person in a wheelchair and another in a walker. Wish they had a bit more concrete at the front but, we managed. The food was great. Everything came out hot and tasted amazing. The view of the water just added to the experience. Will definitely go again.
Nicole was the friendliest and most amazing waitress ever! Had the most perfect day at the sandbar with drinks and amazing food!

Sandbar Seafood + Spirits is a beautiful beachside restaurant on the island with a wonderful view of the beach and water. The food is incredibly delicious, with menu options that are plentiful. Specific meals mentioned include Shrimp and Grits, the Flatbread special, shrimp tacos, the shrimp platter, Coconut shrimp, rosemary fingerling potatoes, calamari, great crab legs, and grouper. The service is exceptional, with staff doing a great job with refills and suggestions. The atmosphere is wonderful, family friendly, and nice without feeling the need to dress up. Fans on the deck provide shade and a breeze for outdoor seating. Free valet parking is available for dining in. The restaurant can be busy, but it is the spot for a great time on Anna Maria.
