“The best Thai food in Sarasota-Bradenton! I’ve come here several times, and the food is always incredible. Their Pad See Ew is my favorite ever. I always try an appetizer and I’ve never been disappointed. This time I got the curry empanadas and they were fantastic! The mango sticky rice is also to die for. The service is always top notch. I’m always seated quickly and served quickly, and the staff are so kind and helpful. Highly highly recommend!“

“stopped in for lunch today. the food was decent, needed more flavor for me. the service was lack luster. waited over ten minutes from time being seated with menus until a server came over to bring us water and see if we wanted anything else. the server returned a couple times, but then at the end was too involved with her cellphone at the service station. even to the point of taking it over to 2 other employees to see before realizing that we were growing inpatient with waiting for the check. overall I give it a 7/10.“

Therefore, no reservations showed when our party arrived. The host was icey, lacked empathy or understanding. He was extremely demeaning and haughty. Finally sat us at a table next to the kitchen which was appreciated. Our waiter was stellar and made everything feel friendly again. The food was outstanding......every course. “Was recommended this place by friends who recently visited, who said how nice the view was and a fun place to go and watch sunset. We weren’t disappointed. Beautiful view, and smart modern restaurant. We were seated after a few minutes while they cleaned the table, and then completely ignored for over at least 10-12 minutes before our server came over, after I asked the hostess who walked past again if we could have our server come and take drinks orders. She eventually came and took drinks orders and practically ignored us after. Needing to stop her to ask if I could have my empty soda refilled, again to ask if we could order food, then again later for another drink. It wasn’t even that busy. She was polite enough but clearly not experienced. It put a dampener on the whole evening, which was a special one for my partner and I. I will return for a second visit, as our friends enjoy it and we enjoyed the view. But I’m hoping the service is improved. Pizza was very nice.“

“Root & Seed Cafe is absolutely my type of place! From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much heart and care goes into everything they do. The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the owners are truly such wonderful people.

I also love that everything is made fresh! And the gluten-free desserts are a huge bonus for me. It’s so nice to find a place where I can enjoy delicious, fresh desserts without feeling like I’m missing out.

“I love Oak and Stone and am a frequent customer of the restaurant, specifically this location. It is high quality, the staff are nice, the place is very clean, and the vibes with the beer wall and atmosphere are good. On top of that, pricing is right on par and the app is incredibly easy to use with good rewards. I frequently go run errands in UTC and will stop by here to pick something up. I would also dare say this is some of the best pizza in Sarasota. What’s actually triggered me to write this review is for the first time, I experienced a hiccup with an online order and had a long in person wait time. Not only were the individuals working very apologetic, but the team took extra steps after I received my order to make it right and show appreciation to me as a customer. Shout out Jacob, the general manager. I will continue to be a big Oak and Stone fan!“

There was a taphouse next-door that had outdoor seating so we grabbed a drink and ate our food there. The portions were large and everything was absolutely delicious! “We tried Rice Bowl for the first time last night and it was all delicious. I had intended to get sushi but ordered the Chicken Udon and was so glad I did. The noodles and veggies were in a delicious broth, not in a heavy sauce. We also ordered the fried gyoza app which was delicious, and the kids meal was shrimp with fried rice which she said was amazing- and a generous portion for a kid. We will be coming back regularly- love a good sit-down Asian restaurant with a lot of options!“
