“Arrived early and got a prime spot on the outdoor patio yesterday. The service is fast for how busy it is and the food is AMAZING! from the shrimp and grits, to the lemon blueberry pancakes to just coffee even...this is a must stop while in Siesta Key! Worth the wait!“
“Bonjour is a not so hidden gem in Siesta Key. The perfect way to start your morning. Crepes that are crispy, warm and soft paired with a fresh side and a latte. We stopped in twice during our stay on the key and enjoyed both visits. The patio is really relaxing in the shade and the inside is charming.Hope to visit again!“
“Amazing service and amazing food. The home made pasta and the other dishes were light and enjoyable to have. Reasonably priced too. Was surprised that it was at that price point after the meal with how high quality it was.Parking: Lots of parking.“
“Michael's on East (MOE) is one of the best fine dining establishments in Sarasota and has been in business for nearly 40 years. Ive been a customer for nearly 30 of those 40 years and despite its maturity, MOE is still hot, hopping and a crowd pleaser for those who enjoy great food, wines and service. During its nearly four decades, MOE has been wowing patrons with its fine cuisine, decor, and outstanding service. Don't be surprised if you see actors, comedians and musicians who might be performing at the Van Wezel during the winter season, sitting next to you because the concierge at their hotel recommended MOE as one of the desirable restaurants for a sensational meal, wine and service. MOE is rich in Sarasota heritage and is the perfect choice to celebrate a special occasion with that very special guest or guests. It's a delight in every way.“
“I went there for lunch today and the food was delicious. I had the pork shank and it was like butter it just melted in your mouth. I also got some Wienerschnitzel to go and a lot of desserts for later. the staff was very nice and they even wrote Happy Birthday on my dessert box.“
“I've been here plenty of times over the years, but the last visit missed the mark compared to other times and feels very much like shrinkflation to me. Perhaps one of the most important things I consider next to taste is if the meal is satisfying, and my lunch did not fill my stomach. I got the larb kai, like a hot salad dish with ground chicken. It certainly did taste good, but I would have liked the portion to be bigger for it to be about $15 after tax. The complimentary soup and egg roll are also a smaller amount/shorter roll than ever before. I don't believe my soup bowl was filled even 1/4 of the way up the sides. Would come back again but it'll be a while. I hope the value evens out, if a little more could be served. People don't like leaving hungry.Parking: The San Marco plaza may have limited parking at peak meal hours since it's not very big. Might have to drive around to find a spot“
“My wife and I went around 5pm without a reservation(my bad). We were told an hour wait but it was more like 30 minutes which was great. It was well worth the short wait. Our meal was perfect and our server (Courtney) was awesome. A storm was coming in and they accommodated everyone quickly. We had lobster bites, Florida grouper, shrimp and salted caramel cheesecake. Everything was perfect.“
“Still a great dining experience! Ramon, one of our gauchos was so funny! Our host and service was great, but Ramon made our night unforgettable. My family and I were still laughing as we walked out of the restaurant. Go See Ramon ar Rodizio!“
“I eat here weekly !! I don’t eat anywhere weekly But the food is not only delicious and different The presentation is a feast for your eyes And the waitstaff is equally as wonderful warm and welcoming I hesitate sharing Bc it feels like a best kept secret“
“If you come to this delicious place, make sure Justin is working as your server! He will help plan out your meal to fit what you are looking for. The food has such good, authentic flavor, I can promise you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for the excellent service, Justin!“
“I called in 2 days before a birthday celebration ! And BAM !!!! They had everything ready and it was Absolutly perfect. From the Cakeballs to Cupcakes , Cookies and more. SWEET DOCTORS WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN. EVERY SINGLE BITE WAS MOIST AND DELICIOUS. THANK YOU TO THE Sweet Doctor and his wonderful staff !!!“
“Quite possibly the best crafted coffees you will find anywhere,, very informative barista ,,quite pricey if you buy whole beans and such .. but the per cup charge for what you get of lattes etc is actually almost cheap for the quality of the drink “
“Ordered a retirement cake and it was made and decorated the day of the party. Cake looked great and tasted as good as it looked. Matty did an awesome job, a pleasure to work with. The guests loved this cake after dinner.I received many compliments on how delicious the cake tasted. They offer 21 favors of cakes - it was hard to decide. 19 can be made gluten free. My wife has celiacs, this is why I chose them and I’m glad I did.“
“What a fun and quaint coffee shop in downtown Sarasota. So many tasty goodies to choose from. I recommend the pistachio cake (I will be back just for that). The staff is kind and the coffee is spectacular. It's a cozy place to get together with loved ones or a great little meeting spot for a business meeting.“
“I placed the catering order and I had to pick it up today (Friday the 29th)Because they were not taking any more orders for Saturday that was no problem I decided to that I might as well eat while I was there as I arrived around 10:45 after waiting a while to be seated I fixed my first plate off the breakfast buffet. My waitress was not very friendly the first time around I just figured she was having a bad day, I've had dental work done so I could only eat a one side of my mouth and I also received a business call that I had to take I was slow eating and not even halfway through my meal the waitress set down the check I thought it was odd I didn't say anything, after I tried a couple of the breakfast items I went back and tried a couple more things on the breakfast buffet then I noticed that the lunch buffet was open so I had one piece of chicken a little bit of beef and noodles and about a bite of sauerkraut with two pieces of sausage. I returned to my table and the waitress walk by I asked her for a refill seem to be a bother to her keep in mind I was there Thursday night with my family who was some out of town eight of us and I eat there probably once every other week and I've never had an experience like the one I had today also keep in mind I was there to pick up $115 catering order. When she brought back my soda I gave her my credit card thinking okay she wants to turn the table as she returned I noticed she took off the breakfast buffet and charged me for the lunch buffet I would not have had a problem with this other than she should have said something I saw multiple people eating off both sides I wonder if their waitress that I hope was in a better mood than mine would inform them that they were paying for the lunch buffet not the practice granted it's only $5 but it is a principle of the thing in my book I felt like she thought I was trying to scam or something it made me feel uncomfortable. I was not only disappointed in her doing this but I was disappointed in the service. I do hope that this message gets reviewed and that you guys as a management team come up with a process to inform people that if they take one or two items off the lunch buffet they're getting charged I can afford it what about people who can't?I do have to say I didn't tip her because I felt the service was bad and I also felt that that extra $5 that she put on my bill what's her tip I wasn't trying to be rude or sarcastic but it did make a point. All in all a disappointing way to start my afternoon..I did pop my head into the office and make a very short statement that I was disappointed in her action and got a sides look from one of the people who were sitting at the desk and a small apology from a lady who was standing there..You may think wow why is he making such a big deal out of this the big deal was it was bad service she had an attitude I was very nice to her she should have pointed it out to me she made me feel cheap and she made me feel like I was scamming the restaurant over..I did pick up my catering order and believe it or not I actually had money to pay for it I don't know if she thought that I didn't have any money I'm not sure what she thought but I do know this the policy should be changed she should have said we're now on the lunch buffet and since you had two items on charging you for the lunch buffet..So this $5 difference between the breakfast and lunch buffet has left a terrible taste in my mouth and I will be hesitant to come back for a while.I hope this young lady learns to treat every guest like a welcome guest!Best regards.“
“It's been years since I had one of their pies when they were on Swift Rd. I thought they were out of business and while searching Google maps for something I saw the Bee Ridge store. To say they're awesome still falls short. There goes my waistline.“
“OMG! Cookies, pretzels, brownies, scones, and more. Everything we've had has been amazing. Watch for Doodles at local events like Fruitville Grove this October! We just picked up some amazing cinnamon apple donut bites that were outstanding.“
“Best place to eat lunch in Sarasota. This is our family favorite! Even our kids love this place. Interesting, unique, but authentic French food. Soooo good! The owner is such a great person. She is always joyful and accommodating. Coffees, espressos, and pastries are out of this world! We love the soup or salad and sandwich combo. You should go now! Ooh-la-la!“
“Great vegan pizza and regular cheese option for the kiddos! The cashew cheese was yummy! Also, don’t forget to try the fried artichoke app. And the espresso and tiramisu was excellent! We’ll be back for sure! Looking forward to trying it all!“
“Small, cozy bar off S Tamiami Trail. We went on a Friday night, and there was a 30-minute wait for regular seating. The bar had open seats so we decided to just order there. I got the stuffed jalapenos, and they came out hot and fresh. Crispy bacon exterior, with a cheesy mozzarella interior. For my main course, I went for the Hawaiian burger, which did not disappoint. It was cooked perfectly to temp with two grilled pineapple wheels, LTO, and bbq sauce on the side. Two thumbs up. My wife got the cheese steak and said it was good but not the best. Both of our main dishes were served with crispy steak fries and a pickle spear. I normally dont like thick cut steak fries because they aren't normally cooked with an exterior crisp, but these were. Service was a bit slow but only because of how busy it was. Service bar drink tickets were printed nonstop, and the bartender did a great job managing wait staff drinks while still tending to her bar guests. Overall, good food and service.“
“I have had the pleasure of sampling several cakes (and cupcakes) by Ron at various events, and they never disappoint. Most recently was a lemon blueberry birthday cake - just as beautiful as it was tasty! I highly recommend these confections for any occasion, or no occasion at all - because sometimes you just deserve a decadent treat.“
“A busy Saturday morning, at such a fantastic establishment, you can expect a wait, but it is well worth it. Hands down the best breakfast we've ever had, outside of my own kitchen! The brioche French toast was light and fluffy, the option to get real maple syrup is a perfect pairing. The apple wood smoked bacon is absolutely fantastic. Veggie omelette, was so delicious and full of veggies! The home fried potatoes are seasoned and cooked perfectly. My absolute favorite was the marble rye toast, the most delicious bread I've ever had. And our server Ken was great!“
“The coffees, pastries and breakfast sandwichs are very good. The staff is amazing. They are quick, courteous, accurate and extremely pleasant no matter how busy they are. The staff at all of Captain Curt's businesses are awesome. Kudos to the HR person(s).“
“The meals taste delicious and it takes the trouble out of meal prepping and transporting it to and from work. Patrick delivers to my job, on schedule, like he says he will. I love that the menu selection changes and that the food is fresh. It’s worth it to spend the money for me, because I know that I’m eating healthy food versus takeout or snacks throughout my workday. Thanks Patrick and helpers!“
“Omg, go here, I'm not exaggerating, comment me back if I'm wrong. Ok my taste, do you ?, I went with BOWL: Kayla, they have two different once, I chose the one that is not the kayak Ceaser only cause I'm on restrictive diet aka losing weight, then I added Spinach, then topped with garbanzo beans, it's mild spicy but in a good way, then brousals, I added broccoli but they charge 2.70 for additional sides, protein I went with blackened chicken, all the avocado I can get(that's free ? and healthy), and all the additional sides tomato, and well you get the picture, finally I went with balsamic dressing, amazing, came out to 20.00 with tip at the most may have been two or three dollars less not exact on it but not over 20.00. And I got a free up of water and yes I got water, the soda/water machine is in the corner, a little hidden. Then before I left I refilled with water and mixed some soda as a sweeter, just because I love sweets. You will love this place. Also you can order online which is much faster and no stress about rushing to order cause the place can get full. Plenty of seating inside and outside place is very clean will be back and give it 5 stars easy would give ten if it were a star option“
“heard many great reviews and so glad we finally had a chance to try them. Cozy comfortable pet friendly outdoor seating was a very welcome alternative to the busy bustling inside. Fast service and a menu to die for. Delicious waffles, french toast and their special mango butter is a real treat. The fresh baked mango muffins are, seriously OH MY GAWD! Cannot wait for our next visit and try other dishes from their very creative menu and.... of course bring home more muffins.“
“Breakfast outdoors under the Live Oak was excellent. I had the count of money Cristo with potatoes, and my friend got an omelette. Our food was excellent— even the toast was great, hot and buttered, and perfectly toasted— and I felt the menu was a good mix of traditional breakfast food with a few interesting flourishes.“
“This place not only has delicious food and provides gluten free and vegan options. It also has yummy boba and the interior is gorgeous! Sit in or out with lots of plant friends! Such a vibe and great place to get with friendly staff! Cant wait to go back!“
“One day last week the girls finally had a day out shopping. We stopped in the afternoon to check out this bakery and market. After some cookies I asked about bagels and they only had frozen ones left. I brought a half dozen bag of cinnamon raisin bagels home. Just like the cookies and cakes, the bagels are to die for. They are brought in from New York every morning and baked in the store. I knew my fiancé would love it here. We rode our bikes using the legacy trail from Venice, and since Sarasota has wonderful bike lanes, we easily found our way to the bakery. Now to back up to the beginning of our ride, I took a nasty spill in the first mile and just tried to keep my wound clean along the way and continued my ride. When we rolled up to the market, I cleaned it with water again. Before I knew it, a sweet employee came out to ask me if I needed a bandage. We went in to get the first aid and they fixed me up. It was so nice to see humanity at its best. I really want to thank them for their hospitality. We then went to the bakery and enjoyed their fresh Fruit Tarts. Yummy! Planning another trip with our car to be able to shop the market properly. I highly recommend the gourmet food and the bakery but especially the customer service.“
“This place is a little dive bar gem! The High side is connected to Precision Cycle, so it's basically the biker bar. That being said, the people are super nice, the food is cheap and the service is fast. My sandwich was tasty enough that I ate the whole thing and got a $3 glass of wine to top it off. Seriously, where else can you get a giant sandwich and a drink for $11? They've even got a pool table.“
“one of the best decisions I have made in this new year was stopping by and checking this shop out while on a walk through downtown Sarasota.... amazing donuts and the lady who served me was as friendly as a person could be. Definitely will be driving two hours to stop by again from time to time. #Dunkinwho“
“Two great meals and amazing staff to boot. Weary from travel this restaurant delivered the best dirty martini thank you Tobias, and pan seared Cod with Marsala sauce topping and a tomatoe Pearl onion with capers lemon butter sauce. Mmmmmmmm don’t miss this right off Hwy 75 outside Sarasota.“
“We have been coming to the Carrabba’s restaurant on University Parkway in Sarasota since we moved to this area in 2007. Jason has always taken care of us. Great service, friendly and always on top of things, making our experience a wonderful one and wanting to come back (like we have for the last 17 years!). If you have dined at Carrabba’s, you already know the food is great and the price is affordable. But if you have not been served by Jasón, I strongly suggest you ask for him next time you stop by. Highly recommended!Pedro and Emily“
“Lots of great flavors and toppings are particularly impressive for the variety. Is your standard self serve yogurt fare. I appreciated that you could try the flavors. They have free waffle cones on Wednesday but the woman working the task wouldn't give it to us because we didn't put it in 1st. That was annoying and frustrating. The yogurt itself was good.“
“A pleasant little deli and coffee shop in the always buzzing St. Armands Circle area of Sarasota. I stopped by around breakfast/brunch time for takeout after taking my daughter to get her ears checked (ear infections oft being the bane of all vacation plans).I ordered the veggie burrito, which had a lot of flavor and a bunch of fresh tasting veggies along with cheese. My wife got the avocado toast, which she remarked had way more avocado than she expected, which is a good sign for the more meager price tag. My children split a simple egg and cheese on toast, which they both enjoyed. Overall, it was good and filling breakfast fair for what could definitely be considered a bargain for the area where it resides.“
“The ability to speak French isn’t required. Tucked away in the massive UTC 4 corner mall madness complex is a small slice of France. Stopped for lunch but ended up ordering a delicious Eggs Benedict on a melt-in-your-mouth, buttery croissant with salmon. OMG it was amazing! Will need to go back to drool over the back goods.“
“Absolutely the best ice cream and service in Sarasota! Gentleman behind the counter took his time sharing information about the different ice creams and happily dishing up samples. Extremely generous portions and even better tasting ice cream! We will be back!“
“Might not be the best pizza I've ever had- but it is definitely one of the better ones. Truly adhering to the New York style pizza making tradition, this is a very thin pie, but one that manages to be both crunchy and chewy, as opposed to just cracker like.I ordered takeout and got the 3 cheese, with the addition of lump ricotta taking the flavor of the pizza to another creamy level. The sauce was good, and it's the kind of pizza where the crust is possibly the best part, as opposed to an afterthought. Definitely deserves the fanfare it has gotten on review sites and notably from Dave Portnoy.“
“Glory Days has the best food! We go there at least once a week with friends. It is always clean, the service is friendly and prompt and they have terrific daily specials. Our server that we ALWAYS ask for, and schedule our visits around because he is so great, Brett, has become like a member of our family. From the very first time we had him, his service, knowledge, suggestions and friendliness make him our go to guy. Their menu is quite extensive and there is literally something on the menu to make everyone in the family happy!“
“Stopped in and was instantly drawn to the birthday cake donut as I'm a huge sucker for sprinkles. The donut was fantastic and the guy working the counter was just as sweet as the donut. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town! Thanks Five-O! ??“
“Our group of old guys having lunch ate at CPK today. They had a nice but smallish menu including lunch specials. Very decent prices for very nice selections. So, that is a good value situation. Isabella of the waitstaff took good care of us today.“
“The food here is just delicious - carefully prepared, very clean food. The bowl was amazing -- really good quacamole (which they should tell you costs extra) and excellent pico de gallo. My bowl was a bit expensive ($13) for fast food, but the quality of the ingredients makes it worth it. We ordered tortilla chips and they made them fresh immediately -- sooo good. And they serve cold beer! Can't beat this place.“
“last Night I enjoyed a delightful experience at this gelato shop, and I must commend their outstanding customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable visit, answering all my questions with enthusiasm and helping me choose the perfect gelato flavor. Their friendly demeanor and attention to customer satisfaction truly enhanced my overall enjoyment of the delicious gelato. Highly recommend for both the incredible treats and top-notch service!“
