The quality of everything in that store is top notch including the staff
Tonight I am sampling their stuffed cabbage and it is outstanding. I highly recommend it.
Absolutely one of the best markets in Sarasota! Loved this place while vacationing, and now we live here! Can’t say enough good about it. Tremendous meat/seafood department. Bravo Morton’s!

Morton's Gourmet Market offers a wide range of unique specialty items and everyday groceries, including high-quality meats, fresh pasta, pastries, and cheeses. The store is filled with local produce, ingredients for any cuisine, and in-house made dinners, salads, and sides. A highlight of the market is the bakery section, featuring delicious treats like cookies, cakes, and bagels brought in from New York and baked in-store daily. There is also a coffee and bakery section, along with traditional spaces for produce, packaged crackers, candy, and chocolate. The market provides exceptional customer service, with friendly staff that create a pleasant shopping atmosphere. Visitors frequently mention the tenderest, most moist rotisserie chicken they’ve ever had, along with tasty prepared foods and quick pick-up items that are great for meals. While the market does not have many organic products, its overall pricing is competitive and reasonable compared to other stores. Whether shopping for a special occasion or an everyday meal, Morton's Gourmet Market is an excellent choice, offering gourmet food and bakery items that are sure to impress.
