My lunch experience at the Green Orchid was very pleasant. The menu is creative with unique offerings. I had the Yucca Fries with Chipotle Sauce ($9) as a start and then the Coconut Curry Soup with pulled Chicken ($12) both from the starter menu. The fries were outstanding! The soup was delicious but barely warm, I did not send it back for a reheat as the flavor was outstanding and I just wanted to eat it. We were visiting on vacation and Selby Gardens is a tradition so naturally we tried out the Green Orchid for the first time and were wowed. The renovations and the restaurant are wonderful additions.You usually don't expect great service at a new restaurant but Kellymarie was delightful, knowledgeable about the entire menu and a wonderful ambassador for the entire place. I just left here after lunch and everything was absolutely amazing. Our server, Kelly, was very attentive and made great recommendations. We all loved the food she suggested which made our experience worth reviewing about this gem of a restaurant. We will be returning??
