About Sips

Sips is a modern, cute coffee shop with an island and beach essence. It is considered one of the best coffee shops in Sarasota and the east coast. The team is exceptional, always smiling and providing whatever is asked. The husband and wife owners are pleasant and always greet you with a smile. The service is so good it merits more than five stars.

The coffee is good, amazing, and great, especially the maple latte, mochas, and lattes where you can actually taste the coffee. The Sassy Hawaian is so good. The food is great and delicious. Specific items are amazing, including the açaí bowl, quiches, fresh muffins, and pastries. The arugula salad that comes with the quiche is heavenly. The “my chocolate fix” is delicious and better than ice cream.

The atmosphere is perfect and makes you feel at home. It has a phenomenal backyard by the water and the bay, which is a special treat. There is outdoor seating along the water. The spot is truly inclusive, with easy handicap access, easy for bikers, and plenty of parking. It is the coffee spot on Longboat Key that everyone wants to go to.
