The Waterfront restaurant was by far the best restaurant I visited while on Anna Maria (caveat: never made it to the porch or drs office). I had the scallops and pork belly and it was a top 10 meal for me. The rest of our table really enjoyed their meals as well. Two with the wasabi tuna beet salad and a chicken parm. Shawn our server was very pleasant and personable. Only downside is the wait, we got there at 5pm on the nose and were told 1.5hr wait (only ended up being 45 minutes).

Food was tasty and well plated, I had the shrimp entree, 6 medium to small shrimp and fries. Maybe closer to an appetizer size rather than an entree.Mia Tai was excellent!

We were seated quicker than expected and had a nice table outside. The view is of the road mostly, but it was enjoyable to sit outside and it's covered from the sun. The service was slow and we had a mix-up in one of our orders. The new meal took 30 minutes to get and everyone else had finished their food by the time it was out (staff said nothing and didn't seem to care). We also ordered a charcuterie board and it was just dropped off without reviewing any of the cheeses, meats or breads. The drinks were homemade and delicious (not very strong). The food itself was just average and lacked flavor and I would have expected more for the cost. Overall it was an OK meal, but I would highly recommend the sandbar over this restaurant.

Lovely little restaurant in the main part of town across from the fishing Pier. The food was good, not spectacular, and the service was fine. We enjoyed the time spent there.

Arrive early and prepare for a wait but your patients will be rewarded! We did have a pretty significant wait But we weren't in any hurry and were prepared for that. Going in. There is a full service bar, although it has a very small seating/ standing area that has a spot dedicated to walk up ordering and there are plenty of places to sit comfortably outside while you wait. The service was great and as someone with dietary restrictions. I really appreciated how clearly marked the menus were and how kind and willing to help. The staff were. Everyone's meal was a hit!

Just a stones throw from the city pier, the Waterfront is an island fine dining staple. Consistent, upscale entrees and apps.

Visited on a mid April Saturday night. They don’t take reservations, so you go first come first serve. We waited an hour and a half for a table. The bar is cramped and it was filled with people eating their meals at the bar since they didn’t want to wait for a table. The bartenders work slow. It took us 20 minutes to get a drink, then had to leave the cramped bar.The food was great. The presentation was very nice. Our server must have been having a bad night. She wasn’t very personable or friendly. Sort of a Joe Friday type of personality. Just the facts ma’am.Next time, we will put our name in and go for a walk across the street to take in the view of the bay. It’s really nice.Overall the food will bring us back. We will come back in the off season when maybe it’s not so packed.

We attempted to make a reservation online but the link never worked. We tried to call ahead and were unable to get a live person on the phone so we decided to chance it anyway. It was very crowded and the wait was 1.5hr but it was a beautiful evening and we spent our time walking the pier and the beach. The hostesses were super friendly. During our 15min wait for the server to take our drink order, the table next to us was complaining to the manager about the screaming children a few tables down. His words were “the atmosphere would be enjoyable if it wasn’t for the screaming kids”. Fortunately, the table left shortly after we were seated. The server (never gave us a name) was unfriendly and seemed as if we were inconveniencing her just by being there. I asked for a drink suggestion (they make their own juices and mixes) and she said the mai tai. Could only taste cheap rum, nothing special. My mother’s Bloody Mary was not good and she took a sip or two and set it to the side in hopes the server would notice. She never did. The calamari had good flavor but was cold along with our main entrees (wasabi tuna, shrimp and grits (best entree), grouper). When my mother mentioned the Bloody Mary having an “off” taste to it, the server didn’t apologize or offer an alternative, she just took the glass and walked away. She returned shortly with the check and said she removed the drink from the tab. That was not our intention, but appreciated. She never asked how the meal was or seemed to be interested in anything other than turning over the table. Nonetheless, we left a 20% tip, if the service is superb we always leave more. This was bare minimum at best. The restaurant is beautiful and has true potential. The menu prices were a little high but for a tourist area, we expected it. But along with that we expected the food and service to be worth it. The view is of the busy street and parking. If you’re lucky you’ll catch a glimpse of the ocean which will be drowned out by the sound of cars driving by, screaming children and the conversation of the table next to you. We loved Anna Maria, but will not be back to that restaurant.
