Very friendly staff and yummy food. They seemed understaffed but still timely. The Brussels were delicious but a little soggy

If you have something as unique as being a restaurant, but not allowing kids after 4pm, put that on your Google please.

Would have loved to tried this establishment but sign at door said only 21 and up after 4pm found to be odd for seafood grill didn't look like was much of a bar atmosphere. So be aware if you're family your not welcomed at this establishment.

This place WAS a goldmine. We visited from 500 miles away multiple times a year for the tender fried shrimp, fish sandwich and excellent service. A piece of Apalach history, this awesome vintage restaurant could have stood the test of time and remained a favorite of both local and tourists alike. Sadly the new owner seems to have a quest to create a run of the mill ordinary environment of tavern. Good luck with that. You have ruined one of the last great things in Apalachicola with your ordinary style, overwhelming menu, order at the counter, unrelaxed atmosphere and lower quality seafood. You will lose business and your excellent staff will leave due to this.

Warning, this is now called "Up to No Good Tavern at the Grill." Google Maps has not made the name change. Tried this place for lunch. It seems the menu is basically the same as on-line, but this is no longer a sit-down restaurant. Prices are the same or higher, but now you have to go up to the counter to place your order. They do bring your food to your table, but if you want a soft drink refill, you have to go to the counter. Plastic silverware in little plastic bag wrappers, paper plates, or plastic baskets with waxed paper liners, like you would expect on the beach, but without the beach. Food was nothing special. I had a crab cake along with Brussels Sprouts, which were on their "Daily Specials" list. The crab cake was grilled, not sauted, and the texture was like tuna salad, not lump crab. Yuck. Brussels Sprouts were greasy with minced bacon (I think- no identifiable pieces) and something spicy hot. Wouldn't order again. Spouse had a grilled shrimp basket, which had small, but not over-cooked shrimp. With one glass of wine and one iced tea, the bill was $60. Too many other places to go for full-service and better food & service. Not very clean, tables and chair seats were dirty, windows dirty. You can do better. Save your money...
