Absolutely NO COMPLAINTS! Arrived near closing time but still welcomed with a smile. Had raw oysters that were amazing (from Galveston Bay) and grouper basket. Both the best since being in Apalachicola. Only wish we hadn’t waited till our last night to eat here. Won’t make that mistake again!
We have been coming for nine years now and Hole in the Wall has consistently been our favorite place in the area and under the new ownership the place has been spiffed up and is much cleaner. The raw oysters continue to be the star of my show but there’s much more to like. This year we visited five times for lunch over a two-week span. Excellent food, tasty and appealing. Great flavor. Good seating, quick order at the bar. Food was served quickly. Lots of character. Nice view.

They have the BEST oysters in the entire town, wild caught by Barber Seafood, big and juicy. They also offer a big 'ol bowl of seafood gumbo with excellent hush puppies. It is a great spot for delicious and high-quality seafood, with a welcoming environment suitable for families and kids.
