Stopped by for lunch on our way to St George Island! Delicious food and friendly staff!
Beautiful old restored building, we went for an early lunch on a weekday, it was not busy. Sadly we weren't seated by a window, we were in the piano lounge near the piano and their wine room, which was nice and quiet. The gumbo was really good, big hunks of gator, whole shrimp, the broth was very flavorful. I do wish they'd used some younger okra, the piece I got in the gumbo was very hard and unable to be chewed completely. That did not discourage me from eating it all. I had...read full review

Sorry to say but we were disappointed with our meals. We had heard great things about this restaurant. There were 4 of us and no one was happy. We each ordered fish for dinner. The fish was tasty but slightly warm and the vegetables were not warm at all. The place was not that busy, but seemed like forever to get our meals. We were there 2 hours.
