Sorry to say but we were disappointed with our meals. We had heard great things about this restaurant. There were 4 of us and no one was happy. We each ordered fish for dinner. The fish was tasty but slightly warm and the vegetables were not warm at all. The place was not that busy, but seemed like forever to get our meals. We were there 2 hours. Table next to us even sent back their meal. Just so sad. The wait staff was nice and efficient. Would go to a different place before...read full review
Food was excellent. Shrimp and Grits seasoned to perfection and wife’s carbonara was a hit as well. My young son finished off his entire chicken tender meal. Food came out quick and piping hot. Server was pleasant.
Great food, beautiful atmosphere, wonderful servers. The Owl Café is an Apalachicola classic, not to be missed.. just go!

The Owl Café is a beautiful location with a lovely restaurant. The service is fast and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Guests have enjoyed dining outside, taking in the beautiful charm and water view of Apalachicola. The food is incredible, with high praise for options like the shrimp and grits, crab dip, and fish and chips. Visitors found the crab cakes Benedict and breakfast sandwich to be delicious as well. The wine bar offers a relaxing atmosphere, complemented by live piano music. With a wide range of options, including crab claws, fresh catch of the day, and key lime pie, there's something for everyone. The atmosphere is enhanced by the smells of fresh honeysuckle blooming on the balcony. The stuffed shrimp and the linguini with shrimp are very good. The catch of the day, like Redfish, is light, fresh and an abundant portion. The Duck Fat Fries are delicious. Servers are pleasant, helpful and attentive, bringing orders quickly. Food comes out quick and piping hot. Overall, the Owl Café is a hit, making it a great choice for a nice dinner or brunch, and many guests plan to return for another meal.
