This place WAS a goldmine. We visited from 500 miles away multiple times a year for the tender fried shrimp, fish sandwich and excellent service. A piece of Apalach history, this awesome vintage restaurant could have stood the test of time and remained a favorite of both local and tourists alike. Sadly the new owner seems to have a quest to create a run of the mill ordinary environment of tavern. Good luck with that. You have ruined one of the last great things in Apalachicola...
Just passing through this time I ordered a pizza. It was okay toppings didn't want to stay on the pizza. It was a good change from the seafood that I normally eat at the coast.
aka Up To No Good Tavern at the Grill. The food was great, and portions were large. Some might complain about prices, but in this day and time and cost rising for everyone, I thought prices were reasonable. Will eat here again. I had coconut shrimp with a salad, and my husband had the flounder with fries.
