Name has changed to 'Up to No Good'' and a downgraded menu. Stools on balcony are uncomfortable.

I stopped in before close and had a few Manhattans and some Tiramisu. Everything was excellent. Elizabeth was super friendly, and I appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and local scene.

Up the Stairs review We travel to St. George Island (SGI) every year for an adult Spring Break trip with friends. The last night is always spent having dinner at UTS. This year, it was one of our friend's birthday, so we celebrated the end of a great week at SGI and our friend, Rebecca's birthday. Upon arriving, we were seated immediately and it was “top drawer” from there to the end of the evening. The hostess was very pleasant and engaging. She knew we were celebrating a birthday (because of the note on the OpenTable reservation). Without delay, she asked who the “birthday girl” was. That was a nice touch since our friend didn't know we'd made the restaurant aware of her birthday. As it has been in past years, the food and service were great. The chef did a phenomenal job. We ordered several appetizers (crab bruschetta, crab croquettes, escargot) to share. All were great. You can't go wrong with any of those. We each got various entrees. I had the rack of lamb, which was cooked to my liking perfectly. The others had the salmon, mahi-magi and shrimp, the ribeye. Everyone enjoyed his/her dish. There was no shortage of rounds of ABCs (adult beverages of choice). The bartender fixes a nice Manhattan, by the way. The highlight of the evening was our server, Austin. He was so friendly, attentive and fun. It only took our time to order cocktails for us to realize we were going to be glad he was our server. Austin treated us very well. Attentive but not overbearing. By the end of the evening, we were laughing with and taking photos with Austin, the hostess and the chef's daughter. It was a great end of a great week in SGI/Apalachicola. Everyone, including the birthday girl, had a great time at Up the Stairs. We look forward to returning next year...and again and again. High five and a thank you to the chef and staff at UTS.

Their over 21 age policy is a big draw. There were 4 of us at the coveted table in the front window. We shared the crab cake appetizer which was a tad gummy and the veal meatballs. Two had the flounder special, which was lightly breaded fried flounder filet on a bed of baby spinach and garlic pasta. Awesome. The other two entrees were the broiled shrimp and glazed salmon, both excellent. Service was attentive, but not overly so.

The food was amazing; from the Lobster Toast appetizer, through the Chocolate Cake with Bourbon Ice Cream dessert. Portions are perfect, with good presentation. Interesting and very creative ingredient combinations. Temperatures were perfect as well. The service was excellent; our server was friendly and polite and attentive. Frankly, it was the best meal I have had in a very long time. Make a reservation, and give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Loved the nice, quite area we were in the restaurant. Nice decor and paintings on the wall. Very sophisticated furnishings. Drinks were very generous portions and were Happy Hour drinks. Food was good, especially the rack of lamb-which was very tender and served with rice and green beans. Will go there again and try the small plates next time.

Our servers were attentive and had great personalities. The Caprice Salad with fired mozzarella was exceptional. Everyone in our group of 6 was very pleased with their entrees. We will be back!

Crab baguette and crab cakes excellent, as was the meat loaf dish. Generous portions. And they use paper straws, not plastic! Important to keep plastic out of the ocean. Nice place. Ate there twice.

This remains our favorite restaurant on the Forgotten Coast...it never disappoints. The high quality food is expertly prepared, and the wait staff -- especially the lovely Ms. Morgan -- adds to the delightful experience. We really hope recovery from Hurricane Michael will allow it to be open for lunch again when we return next year...and return to UTS we will!

We have been fans of this lovely place for a long time. This was our 43rd anniversary and UTS delighted us with champagne with our dessert. Whenever we're in Apalach you will find us there often.

Really professional service, we had Golden as our outstanding server. Chef did a tasty job on all 6 entrees and appetizers. My mojhito was fresh and one of the best in weeks. Totally recommend the Mexican chocolate desert!!

This was the 3rd place we tried to eat at tonight. The food & service was excellent. Worth keeping on looking for a place to dine.

Outstanding food and service. Great spot for a date night to enjoy good food and wine without having to listen to other people's whining kids and crying babies. Wine corkage fee for those who bring their own is too high ($25). The restaurant's own wine selection is outstanding.
