We only get Chinese takeout from here. The service is always top notch. They do little things without being asked to make things better. Everything is always delicious warm and quick. When you need comfort Chinese takeout, its just what you are looking for, easy.

Disclaimer* I spent 20 years in NY. Every Saturday was Chinese take out night. He Hop is now my go to spot for Chinese food so bad that it's good. Unlike the surrounding Chinese restaurants.*

It is what it is. Bourbon chicken was sweet but not too sweet. Lo mein was sweet and savory. Cooked perfectly. Fried rice was okay, probably weakest aspect of dinner. Egg rolls were oily but tasty. The crab wontons were creamy and perfect. Service was fast and...

This was my first visit, and I usually judge a asian, restaurant by their egg foo yong, so I have to say that this was the most authentic egg foo yong I’ve been served, it was made without all the fillers that make you feel full (gluten free). I think I’ll try the chicken wing with pork fried rice tomorrow.
