“Yum, Yum, Yum! I was invited to lunch at Papa Diesel's Restaurant on my visit to Apopka, FL. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the entire experience was a treat. A friendly family atmosphere greeted me at the door, with the added touch of care that was immaculately given to every detail. The aroma from the kitchen activated my taste buds, as I stared mesmerized by the extensive menu. Finally, I decided to go for the “Diesel Sampler”. The brisket was so succulent that it melted in my mouth. The ribs fell from the bone with such flavor that no sauce was necessary—the pulled pork I used to sample the homemade sauces. As I was told, the sauces will soon be available in the local supermarkets (as I can attest to becoming a family staple). Needless to say, the sausage, chicken, and sides all met with the same flavorful standards. Ending my meal with a dessert, I enjoyed the peach cobbler and shared a nibble of key lime cake with my date. It was an enjoyable afternoon, sharing special time with loved ones in a loving environment, dining on food prepared by Papa Diesel, who loves to cook for folks, and making them feel at home!”

Yesterday I stopped in for the carne asada tacos and they instantly took me back to California. The meat was perfectly seasoned, juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly the way authentic carne asada should be. The tortillas, salsa, and freshness of everything were absolutely incredible.

Then this morning I came BACK because I couldn’t stop thinking about the food and tried the chilaquiles… and OMG. Some of the best chilaquiles I’ve had in Florida. Authentic, comforting, homemade, and packed with flavor.

Very friendly couple operating the business, very chill Spanish music playing in the covered dining area, plenty of squeeze bottles with a few tasty sauces and ketchup, real napkins and comfortable quality plastic picnic tables with benches. I might have to fight anyone that leaves a bad review.”

Hands down one of the best taco food trucks around! The flavors were incredible—fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned meat, and tacos made with real passion. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.

What truly sets them apart, though, is their generosity. While we were on duty as firefighters, they went out of their way to feed us for free, which meant more than they’ll ever know. That kind of support and appreciation for first responders speaks volumes about their character.

Danielle – she is incredibly soft, nice, and good person always- great friendly attitude…nice hard working and can-do double shift- very sincere. 5. I remember one Ashley I think, or I forgot one…She does not get scared for work or Amber -cannot remember. 7. Manny is regular as always as I mentioned above…Chilis is the place he is dedicated to work …all the time. 8. Ricky is great – sharp and intelligent. 9.
