“Yum, Yum, Yum! I was invited to lunch at Papa Diesel's Restaurant on my visit to Apopka, FL. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the entire experience was a treat. A friendly family atmosphere greeted me at the door, with the added touch of care that was immaculately given to every detail. The aroma from the kitchen activated my taste buds, as I stared mesmerized by the extensive menu. Finally, I decided to go for the “Diesel Sampler”. The brisket was so succulent that it melted in my mouth. The ribs fell from the bone with such flavor that no sauce was necessary—the pulled pork I used to sample the homemade sauces. As I was told, the sauces will soon be available in the local supermarkets (as I can attest to becoming a family staple). Needless to say, the sausage, chicken, and sides all met with the same flavorful standards. Ending my meal with a dessert, I enjoyed the peach cobbler and shared a nibble of key lime cake with my date. It was an enjoyable afternoon, sharing special time with loved ones in a loving environment, dining on food prepared by Papa Diesel, who loves to cook for folks, and making them feel at home!”

“I loved visiting this Greek themed coffee shop. They are known for their coffee flights. We also got a Caprese flatbread, hot coffee, and Asiago bagel for breakfast. Everything was pricey but nice to know we are supporting a small family business. The decorations and thought put into arranging the space was noticeable. I thought it was worth the drive from Winter Park to check out.”

THIS ONE STORE IN PARTICULAR IN APOPKA IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST overall areas one could judge. The diverse staff provides exceptionally fast, outstanding service. They are incredibly efficient and professional as a team at this location. I beleive there is one woman who is insanely gorgeous. She septum piercing i believe that's what you call it . “I went by for lunch with a friend. The restaurant was clean and tidy. The gentleman who waited on us was friendly, efficient and was all about doing an excellent job. He kept a steady pace and was handling taking orders, making the sandwiches, cashiering and personally opening the restroom upon request.
I watched him when no customers were there and he began cleaning, sorting the bread and prepping for the next round of business.
He seemed to me to stand above the crowd of employees available today.

What truly sets them apart, though, is their generosity. While we were on duty as firefighters, they went out of their way to feed us for free, which meant more than they’ll ever know. That kind of support and appreciation for first responders speaks volumes about their character.

“Addy was so great to us for our wedding celebration! The food and drinks were amazing, lots of compliments for our choice of food to serve haha. She communicated a time that she’d be at the location to start cooking and setting up. She set everything up beautifully and I’m very thankful because it rained on our wedding day and our wedding party had to figure out how to move everything around to keep it dry. In the midst of planning changes with the rain I didn’t get to communicate where are table decor was for her to use. But she had a couple things of her own and she still dressed the table up so nicely, I’m very very thankful for that. I feel like catering is one of the harder things to deal with for your wedding but Addy made it seem easy even with the rain.

I frequently visit due to the good atmosphere and nice people working there. To mention: Kevin the GM is down to earth – on the first time, he went out of the way “hello” even though I was sitting far off…Nikki said he is genuinely nice and wonderful…that is shown in his action, deeds not just words. I used to like Mrs. Tina I used to go there from 2017.on and off whenever I visit on a weekend to see my family…Manny used to be there- he is still long time dedicated to Chilis… Great, nice people worth mentioning are: This is not in sequence or chronological – whomsoever comes in my mind and just jotting down there is no this is the first person or second person please…. sorry to be brutally honest, ethical, integrity and upfront: 1. Ms. Cindy who helped to fix the Vegetarian meal for me and later she and Ricky together made that happen- Very conscious, she does not worry about appreciation or so, she works hard, truthful and cares for customers during Theresa’s incident one of the Thursdays in May 2024. 2. Mr. Scott brother- they say he is new- but super quick, sharp and he goes out of the way to help, if any bartender or serving or doing lot of things- he goes and helps the customers, he has a great attitude. Cares lot for the nation. Love that brother Scott. Once Scott and Kevin worked on the radio – they were smiling, since I was joking with them – Great Team … 3. Nikki – super good and great bartender – some of them come for her sake on Tuesdays and she has a great serving tables according to the Young kid like Brandon even though he is tall in the Organization in that Branch of Chilis- like Michale Jordan -just kidding. 4. Danielle – she is incredibly soft, nice, and good person always- great friendly attitude…nice hard working and can-do double shift- very sincere. 5. Kimmie- some of the customers like her most…. like Theresa and Carol always talks nice about her…Kathy too. 6. Few of the front host also. I did not get her name. I remember one Ashley I think, or I forgot one…She does not get scared for work or Amber -cannot remember. 7. Manny is regular as always as I mentioned above…Chilis is the place he is dedicated to work …all the time. 8. Ricky is great – sharp and intelligent. 9. Mike who serves and has a particularly good attitude, someone said he works on Monday, Tuesday, and one another day- I cannot remember. 10. Brandon is a good person.
