“My family did a girls trip out here to eat and shop. I had never been here before and I was not disappointed! Starting with the drive up everything outside is adorable and was decorated for fall and Christmas. There was lots of parking available and it was busy but not overcrowded on a Saturday morning. To order here you grab a menu and fill it out at your table where they have pencils set out for you. Write your table number on top and then mark what items you want to eat and then bring it up to a cashier. The service was quick and everyone was so friendly. They have a great deal for $10.99 and it comes with a sandwich, a soup, salad and dessert. Lunches are served in the cutest little basket to your table and there is quite a variety to choose from. I had the beef sandwich that was made with a horsey sauce and French dressing and it was so so good! The tomato soup was delicious and the pasta salad was yummy too. I loved the carrot cake as it was moist and had a great flavor. It was the perfect amount of food and I loved being able to taste so much of the menu. Shopping is available in the restaurant but also at the other 3-4 stores on property. The only downfall of this place is I was hoping for some local made Christmas decor.”
“Advertised as open unil 8, but they were closing at 7:10 when I went there. Local businesses need to be supported especially now. Went for breakfast the next morning. Biscuit and gravy breakfast was awesome and so much food, great value!!! Can't wait to try another meal here.”
“This restaurant is, without a doubt, the best Mexican food we have had in a very long time. It is absolutely delicious. The place is a dive, but don't pass it up because of that. Prices are great as well.”
“Cool place. Not one of those strip mall bars that are prevalent all over Florida. Biker friendly. Bartender was super cool. Locals were friendly. I recommend stopping here for an ice cold beer.”
“Was driving around with family trying to find a good spot for us all to eat. Came across Del Franco’s pizzeria, let me just start by saying it had to be the absolute best food I’ve tried in a long time. The people, the service &&’ especially the food was just Fantastic. Everyone in my family ordered something different and only great things to say. Had to be the quietest dinner we’ve ever had just because of how much everyone was enjoying the food. ? Thankyou to the owners for having amazing food. Price is definitely worth it, you can tell everything was made with love and you feel it right away when you’re being welcomed in ! Our new spot for sure !!”
“Nikki sweets was very professional and tast great it is very very good I like ALL the sweets and she gave samples so I purchased them all the tast was great and the look was presentable, colorful, and neat please give her a try you will not be disappointed but very very HAPPY!!!!”
“Every time we come here the vibe is immaculate. We love the bartender Zuli she makes killer margaritas the kind you keep coming back for more. The food is so good the quality for considerate pricing. My go to Mexican Spot!”
“Our first time here and they did not fall short on anything. My wife are all her vegan breakfast and I did with my eggplant panini.Parking: Many parking spots are street available.”
“Rabbit for Easter!? And those hot cross buns, woo hoo hoo doot, doot, dooo! lol. I give them something like a five for nice elevated dining with delicious fancy foods and impressive, exemplary hospitality on a level you don't see often enough anymore, in a beautifully curated arty modern space. I don't mind throwing good money down on food and an experience worthy of it and 1921 delivered, mostly. Was looking forward to the deviled duck eggs as shown on the online "example" menu but they didn't have them on the day. Shoot. And while I realize this is supposed to be an experience, we waited well over an hour for our mains to come out, long after starters and cocktails ran out, and I was about done, restless, and feeling full. So, whatever was special with the mains was sort of lost; at least on me. Our bill was also messed up, they double charged us, and took even more time still, to fix.”
“Today was my first day at this cute spot and I’m so glad I came! I got my usual that I get at every new place I try; an oat milk vanilla chai latte; and it did not disappoint! The flavors were amazing, the temperature was perfect, and the chai tasted authentic…not like the typical sweet powdered chai. I went to get some studying in and the atmosphere was so relaxing and welcoming. There are plenty of outlets, places to work, sit, study, and even a comfy couch and chairs to catch up with friends. The music wasn’t obnoxiously loud like some places. It was very calm and instrumental. The next time I come, I will definitely try something to eat off the menu! The girls were so kind and the service was impeccable. They checked in on me during my visit to see if I needed anything else. I wish I could pick this place up and take it back to SoCal with me ? whenever I am in Apopka, I will definitely be back, thank you so much! ?☕️”
“Spent the morning here drinking coffee and chatting with the family that owns the cafe. They own a coffee farm in Guatemala from which they import beans, roast locally, and serve here. Excellent coffee! Nice vibe. Lovely people. Definitely worth a visit. David and ”
“This is the best Poke Bowl place around. Food is always fresh and there’s a good selection of toppings. The ice teas and sodas are not typical Coke and Pepsi products. The atmosphere is chill and employees are friendly.”
“5 Stars all the way around. This is a fantastic location for a great lunch with friends. The atmosphere is very quaint, charming, relaxing, comfortable...I could go on. I am so glad a mutual friend recommended it to us.Our server explained that everything is made from fresh from scratch and that the chef has been with them for over 20 years.I started with a nice craft beer and a bowl of the Irish Whiskey Onion soup. The soup was very good although I used my knife to cut through some of the cheese and fried onions. My bride ordered a sangria and a mushroom burger. The savory chicken sandwich with fries was ordered by two of us and the Philly sandwich with fries was ordered as well. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we had no room for dessert. While our meal for two cost over $80, it is a bit on the pricey side if you decide to have 2 beers, a sangria, soup and 2 sandwiches. But it was worth it!This is a great place to dine. We dined on the main floor but you should check out the bar and lounge upstairs as well. Or outside. Just loved The Goblin!”
“First time stopping into this cozy little coffee house, no regrets. Their iced coffee is delicious and the apple danish is also quite good. I’m looking forward to sampling more from the menu soon!”
“The BEST hangout spot with the BEST staff and the BEST fries ever!! Cannot recommend it enough! I really enjoy all the different atmospheres that this restaurant holds. Tyler & Scott are amazing too!!”
“We have eaten both at the restaurant (ticked away in a little strip center in Apopka) and for catering for my son’s birthday. The food is delicious and Zach was great to work with. They make the best waffles and their veggie pot pie has so much flavor. Their chicken sandwich and handmade potato chips are also so good and portion sizes are big! Highly recommend them for catering and if you just want a great bite of freshly made stick to your ribs southern cooking.”
“As a chef and Trinidadian in Orlando, this is the closest I’ve gotten to the food from home. And as a staunch south Trini eating roti in Gasparillo and Penal all my life, it takes A LOT to recommend roti anywhere. The curry beef is spot on and this was the softest and fluffiest paratha I have ever gotten in Orlando. Definitely recommend giving this small family business a try.”
“Most epic sushi experience I’ve ever had. And our server, Johnathan, was the absolute best! We asked him to pick our menu and he nailed it with exceptional service, little details and had fun personality. Great food and great service! Can’t wait to go back!”
“absolutamente recomendable, sabor exquisito, original mexicano. Musica De chente excelente. felicidades hacia falta un restaurante Como este. mucho exito y que el negocio cresca. soy su fan desde hoy.”
“Good food and fast friendly service. Cook needs to be a little more food temperature aware. Open face roast beef sandwich was only warm. This dish should be piping hot.”
“This was our first time attending this restaurant. Nick was AMAZING, AWESOME, KIND AND UNDERSTAND toward our dietary needs. Our food was OUTSTANDING! If you have allergies, we highly recommend you create and print your own allergy card to hand to your server. It makes a huge impact on your foods preparation from the cooks and the manager. My wife had the see bass and I had the ribeye.I had the smoked old fashion as well. Highly recommend. Its definitely high quality food and as such can be more expensive. Coming from a person who doesn't generally eat out often, this place is definitely top notch!Ask for Nick and have a great time.Dietary restrictions: My wife cannot have gluten, dairy, corn products, and more.”
“This place is lovely. The staff is amazing they’re welcoming courteous and patient and serve you with beautiful smiles. The menu is not overwhelming big but has enough variety for everyone. The coffee is phenomenal the best I’ve had. The bagels a fresh soft with the perfect little crisp.I ordered the sugar free caramel macchiato iced and the jalapeño bagel with cream cheese. My partner order the skinny flamingo refresher and sausage egg and cheese on a garlic bagel everything was delish and fresh. I would recommend 100 times over!! Will be returning soon!!”
“The food was delicious. There should be more lettuce, onion, and tomato served as a side of the plate. The "pico de gallo" salsa for the nacho chips should have fresh cilantro and more lime juice. The drink lids leak too easily from the rim.”
“Great dinner with a super friendly staff. Our hostess Kylee made our wait fun. Perfect service from Heather at the table and fabulous cocktails from our bartender. Food was amazing!”
“Not your cookie cutter corporate watered down donut selection. Boston creme filled donuts were superb. All other assorted donuts were fresh and delicious. The line was out the door when I arrived, but it moved quickly and efficiently. A well oiled business, and worth the short wait to get the goodies.Parking: I parked a block away on the street north of the business.”
“Such a great experience. The food was so fresh and Delicious. The service provided by Raymond was a true genuine service. Thank you for the amazing flavors and good company! ? if you are visiting #Mtdora I highly recommend trying this place.”
“We visited Mount Dora for 3 days and hit this bakery up everyday. Amazing smoothies and absolutely delicious pastries. We stopped in on our last day and bought a bunch to take home. They even gave us some ice for our cooler bag to make sure our desserts stayed fresh on the drive. Great service!”
“This restaurant has the best Mexican food in the state, IMO. We lived in Arizona for 20 years and miss real Mexican food. My husband had the enchiladas and I had the carne asada. Everything was great. The restaurant is clean, service is excellent and food is great.Parking: Parking is tough. Street parking is the best option, but hard to find a spot on weekends.”
“Stopped in here to get some takeout chowder and they were just so wonderful and helpful, the gal that helped me out, I think her name was Lisa, was just full of information and so wonderful I think the boss should give her a raise! I called First and the young man who answered the phone was so positive and helpful, his name was Caleb...”
“Stopped in after Strawberry picking for a late lunch. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Food was served fast and was good. Special thanks so Debbie- our amazing waitress!”
