“Stay away from this place. On 11/23/22 ordered wings and fries. The wings were undercooked and blonde hair was in my fries. I discreetly told the waitress who then told the manager. The manager Got upset not because hair was in my food more so because he had to throw away 6 wings! I asked for a refund and will never return. Cooks cook with no hair net and no gloves STAY AWAY!”

“Wow!!!! Have been here many times , but today’s Christmas atmosphere and table service was amazing! I completely appreciate all the tedious decorations! You definitely have the best looking place around. Food was always delicious as usual. Had the dorito Walko Taco and the husband had a burger. Thank you for spreading the Christmas cheer!”

“This is my favorite spot to stop on the way to work. Everyone is so nice and it feels like we have known each other for years. The protein doughnuts and oatmeal are my favorite and so tasty and the best part they are healthy for you. They have so many tea options so there is for sure something for everyone. They even watch out for my pineapple allergy and hardly ever have to remind them.”

“As a huge Jules Verne fan, walking into this shop for the first time and seeing the theming was absolutely incredible. I can't count how many times I've been back, and every time is always fantastic. I have never met a friendlier staff at any establishment, and every person on the staff of them knows how I prefer my drinks. I cannot recommend this place enough.”

The owner Andy is the best in the area, makes you feel at home with attention to the customer needs. This is why so many local residents consider it their favorite local bar and casual hangout. “What a neat atmosphere. This old house has been fixed up so nice. It’s clean and inviting and classy looking. Well maintained and well taken care of. Plenty of seating to relax and enjoy your coffee. The coffee was delicious and flavorful. Josh Made everything perfectly as we ordered. Next time, I’ll have to try some of the food.”

“Everything about Salsita's is magic. Their customer service is top notch, and just as importantly, their food is fantastic. I usually get the carne asada street tacos with a side of rice and beans, and my partner loves the carnitas quesadilla. Their red salsa is spot on with what I grew up with in Southern California. The elote in a cup is not to be missed and is made with fresh corn. Get it 'spicy' to have it prepared with mayonnaise and Tajin!”

“This place is a hidden gem. It gets busy and you do have to wait on your food but it's worth it. It's not a McDonalds! Atmosphere is the best I've seen in this area. Live entertainment on the weekends and some of the best musicians in Lake County. I give this place a five star because Food was excellent and service was good. I came with a group unexpectedly of 20 and EVERYBODY was happy. That's rare for our group. I highly recommend this place.”

“We never have try hungry howies Pizza before. So they have this new location very near our home and we did try it. Wow, I have to tell you that it was delicious, so tasty, very hot when arrived to our house. We sure Love it. And we have already use it again several times. We Love the fact that when arriving at our home it is soooo fresh and hot. That it is very important to us. We have take out and also have it delivered. We recommend it to everyone. “In case Debra Vaughn sees this, all these years later, Irene Lazaeri passed away from cancer in August 23, 2009. She was 82. She was a good gal and ran a tight ship there on Old Highway 441. She didn't put up with anything from customers. I hope she's resting in peace. ;0)”

“I absolutely adore this charming tiki beach bar for its inviting atmosphere, situated by the lake with breathtaking sunsets that create the perfect backdrop. The food and drinks are just as delightful, making it a must-visit spot. Easy access by water, golf cart, cars and seaplane.”

“Food is always good and the service is spot on. We eat here regularly and find it to be the best Chinese food in the Tavares area…bar none. They are take out only and don’t really have a dining room, so I just gave them three stars for atmosphere. Highly recommended place to order food from!”
