“A Hidden Gem by the Lake!Fish Camp Lake Eustis is a delightful restaurant with a lovely lakeside setting. Their steakburger and French fries are outstanding — the 1/2 lb burger I received (pictured in my review) was juicy and cooked to perfection, served on a buttery toasted bun, and the fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The prices here are very reasonable considering everything is brought in fresh, and the portions are generous.The staff here has always been friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is fairly casual and relaxed, perfect for a laid-back meal with friends or family with fantastic views of the lake. As a local favorite, finding parking, seating, and getting your food can take some time during peak hours, which should be expected anywhere, but I can assure you it’s well worth the wait.Many of the negative reviews I’ve read here seem to be left by pretentious people who think the world revolves around them. Listen, if you’re polite, friendly, and respectful to staff your servers will notice and appreciate your kindness. I visited for lunch during a weekday. My hostess/server seated me promptly, provided me a menu upon seating, brought me a beverage right away, and got my order in very quickly. She stopped back several times to check in on my experience and to see if I needed anything, was able to provide me with a guest WiFi password, and even brought me a small to-go cup for my Coca-Cola. Kindness begets kindness, people. Remember that.All in all, Fish Camp Lake Eustis is a hidden gem in Tavares that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious food, beautiful views, and friendly service.Parking: Limited number of spots in the restaurant parking lot, but people park on the lawn on a property across the street. It can get busy here so finding parking can be difficult.”

“My wife & I decided to try Mary's on our Anniversary because of the recommendation of friends. We went on Friday because my wife loves Prime Rib & I happen to love fish. Needless to say we were extremely satisfied with our meals & the service we received.”

“Delicious food!!! Our favorite Mexican restaurant around town! Service is always excellent. Chips and salsa is yummy. Birria tacos are the best! Chicken dinner is a great deal and is enough food to feed a family. Includes a whole chicken seasoned perfectly, two sides, drinks and tortillasy.”

“I've had plenty of Asian cuisine, and Tokyo Teriyaki gets 5 stars from me. Delicious food, great prices for portion-sizes, along with attentive and caring service. They have a nice selection of ramen, yakisoba, udon, as well as sushi. Their tempura cheesecake is awesome. The Boba tea is wonderful as well, and tastes "fresh" (some Boba tea Yates artificial, the tea here tastes authentic). There isn't anything negative I can say about this restaurant, give it a try if you haven't already. “My husband and I are regular diners at Billy’s Cafe in Tavares. The food is good, the people that work there are great, the regulars all know each other, and it is our go to spot for breakfast. My favorites are the veggie omelet, the breakfast burrito special, and the apple roll ups with whipped cream (if you like apple pie, you’ll love these). There are plenty of other restaurants that are closer to where we live that we could go to, but we take a 30 minute drive each way to go to Billy’s because of the excellent food and service.”

“This was my 3d visit to Michael’s. The food is fresh and very good. Even my husband how only likes meat and potatoes enjoyed the beef rib dinner. I love Pho and theirs is great plus the dumplings and summer rolls.”

Her lettuce tacos and the Santa Fe Bowl are highlights, offering unique flavors that are both satisfying and memorable. “This restaurant was wonderful! It's a quaint place. I loved that the pizzas were baked in a brick oven. It makes for a better tasting pizza. The service was amazing! They make you feel like you're having a meal at a friend's home.”

“A very talented gentleman started this place some years back when I first went looking for a cigar after our pilot brought us into puddle jumpers. Ever since it has been my favorite place to go. When I visit Mount Dora, Tavares, Eustis or Leesburg. My wife does not like cigar bars but she absolutely loves this place. My French bulldog absolutely felt at home. I can enjoy a cigar with out her getting overwhelmed by stale smoke. The air flow is just perfect here and has a very Florida room feeling when around the bar. Very comfortable in the summer and super cozy in the winter months with the fire tower heaters that are here. The humidor is well maintained, you might not find everything here but the cigar selection is excellent. Proper range of beers and wines for pairing with cigars. After a nice day of fishing out on the lake and some burgers or steaks near by this place is the best time spent for a beautiful evening.”
