“The chef is new, so any ratings from before 2024 are not valid. Also, the entire room has been updated and it's amazing now. This is a superb restaurant IF you order the right things. Example: Ribeye steak - the best I've ever had and I've consumed thousands of top-rated steaks. This is really the best. Caprese salad - again, the best I've ever had, and I've consumed a lot at different restaurants. Seafood Paella - excellent. Short rib - if you like it, it's cooked perfect. The bread and butter - both remarkable 5 stars for all those dishes. The hunter/gatherer salad isn't the best. The chef could make it much better. A better and more heavy dressing will help. They need to bring back teh El Conq. salad. That one was remarkable.”

“Finally stopped to grab lunch here after riding my bike by dozens of times and having it always smell so good. A well-stuffed pulled pork sandwich, baked beans and mac & cheese for $8.00? Hello! Yes, please. And the mustard bbq sauce they have is Ahh-maz-ING! Only thing missing is I wish they offered some fresh-brewed southern sweet tea, but canned/bottled drinks are the only option.”

“Our first time here last night for Jimmy Buffett day hosted by Rob Nicholas. Highly recommend this place. The food was amazing and our server was the best we have ever had. The owners Courtney and Steve treated us fantastic. They gave us special gifts for coming and were always around talking to everybody. They made us feel so welcome. Plus you can rent boats here and there is an Inn if u want to spend the night. We will definitely be back. Very worth the drive. Beautiful evening view as well to end the evening.”

“Tatiana was our waitress and she was awesome. Super helpful made great recommendations. Gave service with a smile. Also enjoyed lady at front desk nice greeting a smile as we came I and as we were leaving. Error in food was not that bad. A+ on the spinach crab dip loved it so much. We got some to go to have tomorrow at home. One in our group said the chicken sandwich is smaller than what she’s had there in the past but still was delicious. Shrimp was good after we got our original order the guest said delicious in fact. Muffalatta sandwich bun was cold. The inside of the sandwich was so cold. It was cold in the middle. with thin thin slice of ice in the middle of the sandwich coming from Louisiana that one disappointed Me. It had all of the right taste in the sandwich.”

But I think I spoke to the owner this morning and I’m a vendor at Ferran park pretty frequently and my grocery order was delayed this morning and she let me buy heavy cream off of her and it was life saving!!! “OK, if you don't give this place a five star review you are out of your mind. Yes the rolls were kind of small and pricey, but it's 2026 and lobster is expensive. Ordered them so we could share and try different things, and they were darn good!

Service was excellent, and fast. Sat down and asked if this was our first time, we said yes and got a complementary tasting of the clam chowder. You folks up in the north east can just sit down because that was the best clam chowder I've ever had. So the wife and I ordered a bowl to share on top of our rolls.
