“Went in a Friday night over the Arts Festival weekend. They were busy, but staff seated us fairly quickly. We ordered a veggie pizza - it came out huge, hot & delicious. The veggies were very fresh, the crust was not too thick or thin & it had the right amount of cheese. Our waitress was friendly & attentive. We feel like we picked a great place & wish we had more time to go back & choose one of their Italian dishes!”

“I discovered Las Palmas about 7 months ago passing through Mt. Dora. I had the best Cuban sandwich possibly ever and couldn’t wait to get back! Well, I made a point to return and Camillo provided another great experience. He knew the menu well and made great suggestions. The food was excellent and did not disappoint. “My kids wanted to take me out for Father's Day a few days after the actual day and asked me where I wanted to go. I chose Longhorn in Mt. Dora and I'm really glad I did. We had a fantastic dinner experience there. Matt, our server was very attentive but didn't hover over us before we ordered and during our meal. My son and I both chose the 20 oz. Outlaw Ribeye and I'm so happy I did. It's rare that I eat steak these days because it is so expensive in the grocery store but it was also so worth it to order one for my Father's Day Dinner with the kids. It was AWESOME. My daughter had Shrimp and Chicken which was also very very good. We weren't rushed by the staff, the food came out on time and we had a great dinner with alot of conversation which was priceless for me since I don't ever get to go out with my children without their spouses and or my grandkids ( which by the way isn't bad either, I love being around my grandkids ) Anyway it was a memorable dinner and I hope that we can do it again sooner than later. The food was awesome, the service was great and I will always remember it.”

“Fantastic venue and service by the staff is attentive and the food is on point and great value. .99 Wings on Wednesdays and $2 tacos and $5 margaritas on Tuesday. Great selection of whiskeys and if you are into old fashioneds then this is your place. The pumpkin ginger martini is literally bordering orgasmic. They have the NFL ticket with beer bucket deals for game time. The outdoor areas are spacious and inviting. It is now my favorite spot for food and drinks.”

“We ate at the restaurant on 10/25/25 and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The homemade pastas and veal were fabulous. The services and atmosphere was also wonderful and I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. We will definitely visit it again next year. They even took a reservation during the art & craft show which most restaurants won't do at that time. Delicious!”

“OK, if you don't give this place a five star review you are out of your mind. Yes the rolls were kind of small and pricey, but it's 2026 and lobster is expensive. Ordered them so we could share and try different things, and they were darn good!

Service was excellent, and fast. Sat down and asked if this was our first time, we said yes and got a complementary tasting of the clam chowder. You folks up in the north east can just sit down because that was the best clam chowder I've ever had. So the wife and I ordered a bowl to share on top of our rolls.

“We went to the Fiests Grande restaurant today (2-1-25). Somebody told the manager that my husband was stealing a cup that was on another table. My husband saw the cup and was showing me how cool it was (we are seniors and if my husband liked a cup that he saw he would have asked our server if the restaurant sold them, we do not have to steal. Nor were we dressed poorly.) So, the manager came over to us, and demanded to look in my husband's bag. I felt so bad for my husband! The look on his face! He was mortified! She did not find a cup, because my husband did not take anything. She embarrassed my husband and me in front of everyone. I approched the manager and told her she was out of line and she told me she had to protect her customers...well, my husband and I were also her customers, she didn't protect us from public humiliation! She also told me " I am Mexican, I know how it feels. I don't know what she meant by that. We will never visit that restaurant again, and probably won't go to Mt. Dora again either! Needless to say, our beautiful day was ruined.”

“We had the sweetest experience with Le Petit Sweet for our wedding cake! From the very beginning, everything felt so personal and special. The tasting was such a fun part of the process, and they made us feel so taken care of every step of the way. Our 6-inch vintage heart cake was a dream! It was gorgeous to look at and perfectly fit our wedding vibe, but somehow tasted even better than it looked. We chose the strawberry champagne flavor, and my husband and I were completely in love! We've been pretty disappointed with the choice of Mexican restaurants around here lately. We go passed the food truck frequently so when our neighbors raved about the food we decided to give it a try. I wasn't familiar with some of the menu items so after a little searching, we decided to order the birria quesadilla, the chicken mulita & the steak & shrimp mulita. All of the food was really good but my husband loved the quesadilla & I think the chicken mulita is going to be my go to when I'm craving Mexican food. From now on Quesa Loco will be the place I think of when we want Mexican food.”

Roberta worked with us to achieve the icing I wanted and she created a beautiful, perfect wedding cake. The pinball cake she created for the groom's cake was a big hit and was also delicious. “This is the worst bar in Mount Dora. If you want to have a bad time. Go here. We showed up to the bar at 10 pm on a Saturday and ordered one drink per person. While my friends went to the bathroom, the bartender walked up to our table and took away our purchased drinks for no reason. The "manager", Mark came up and told me that we weren't welcome anymore. I asked why and he had no answer. I asked why again and he had no answer. Then after multiple times questioning, he said , "your too intoxicated" We were literally sober. The manager then physically intimidated us and forced us to leave. I'll never go to this bar again I live in this town and frequent town regularly. I'll never recommend anyone go to this bar for food or drink. What a top to bottom terrible experience. If you enjoy a good time, skip this bar.”
