I discovered Las Palmas about 7 months ago passing through Mt. Dora. I had the best Cuban sandwich possibly ever and couldn’t wait to get back! Well, I made a point to return and Camillo provided another great experience. He knew the menu well and made great suggestions. The food was excellent and did not disappoint. Whenever I’m in the area I will be eating there. You should too!
This was our third time at this restaurant and have always enjoyed their food and service.
We had hoped they would have improved the state of the lavatories. They have not, but has only progressively gotten worse. Having being in the hospitality business for over 20 years we have always judged a restaurants cleanliness by the state of the lavatories. It has just gotten worse. i ordered sautéed chix and carmleized onions the onions where fried barley a lot of oil on the plate my watering fir this place -1 i’m chef i would never send food out that way
