“The food was great and we had very attentive and friendly service. We went on a Friday in February. inside was very noisy and crowded. (To be expected on a Friday night) so we ate outside. It was fantastic , not nearly as noisy and a very nice atmosphere.“

“I discovered Las Palmas about 7 months ago passing through Mt. Dora. I had the best Cuban sandwich possibly ever and couldn’t wait to get back! Well, I made a point to return and Camillo provided another great experience. He knew the menu well and made great suggestions. The food was excellent and did not disappoint. Whenever I’m in the area I will be eating there. You should too!“

Enjoyed sitting outside listening to the wind and water lapping the boats.
Enjoyed the spicy blackened grouper sandwich and a custom made blackened grouper reuben.
Servings were generous for the price.

“The chef is new, so any ratings from before 2024 are not valid. Also, the entire room has been updated and it's amazing now. This is a superb restaurant IF you order the right things. Example: Ribeye steak - the best I've ever had and I've consumed thousands of top-rated steaks. This is really the best. Caprese salad - again, the best I've ever had, and I've consumed a lot at different restaurants. Seafood Paella - excellent. Short rib - if you like it, it's cooked perfect. The bread and butter - both remarkable 5 stars for all those dishes. The hunter/gatherer salad isn't the best. The chef could make it much better. A better and more heavy dressing will help. They need to bring back teh El Conq. salad. That one was remarkable.“

“The food here is so good! They also have a bakery where they make Tres leche cakes and other yummy desserts. We have eaten here several times and have not Been disappointed yet. The cake we got for our son‘s 16th birthday was so delicious.“

“Excellent little place... went here with 6 people for lunch. Their chowder really is EXCELLENT . We also had their fish sandwich (today's fish was haddock, 2 pieces on sandwich) , also very good. Place is small, very limited seating also has some seating outside.“
