“Wow! Clam Chowder, wonderful spices. Lobster roll, perfect mix of lobster, celery, just the right amount of mayo and the bread was tasty all by itself. My biggest beef with other restaurants is that they ignore the bread and it is tasteless. Here it was a part of the whole package, just as it should be. Coleslaw was the correct amount of sweet and creamy, fried okra was crispy and light brown on the outside, slightly moist but not mushy on the inside. Potato salad was just as good. Key lime pie was perfectly tart for dessert.“

“The food was great and we had very attentive and friendly service. We went on a Friday in February. inside was very noisy and crowded. (To be expected on a Friday night) so we ate outside. It was fantastic , not nearly as noisy and a very nice atmosphere.“

Example: Ribeye steak - the best I've ever had and I've consumed thousands of top-rated steaks. This is really the best. Caprese salad - again, the best I've ever had, and I've consumed a lot at different restaurants. Seafood Paella - excellent. Short rib - if you like it, it's cooked perfect. The bread and butter - both remarkable 5 stars for all those dishes. The hunter/gatherer salad isn't the best. The chef could make it much better. A better and more heavy dressing will help. They need to bring back teh El Conq. salad. That one was remarkable.“
