“I was visiting Orlando last weekend, and just started turning corners. I pulled into the gas station in Ocoee, saw the food truck, and decided to check it out. I am so glad I did. I ordered the conch fritters and cracked conch with pigeon peas and rice. The conch fritters were a bit greasy but delicious. In every bite, I was able to taste the herbs as well as the conch. The sauce was amazing. The marrying of the flavors in the conch fritters and the sauce was divine. The cracked conch was perfectly fried, and the pigeon peas and rice was tasty. The next time I'm in the greater Orlando area, I will be returning.“

“I was in town for my daughter's 14th birthday and Norman's did not disappoint. From our initial greeting to the final goodbyes, the team at Norman's was flawless. We were promptly sat upon entering. Every team member that stopped by our table made sure to wish my daughter a happy birthday. Service was timed to perfection. Drinks were always kept full. Entrees got to us just as our appetizers were finished. Our service team made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. As for food we started with the charcuterie board, blue crab beignets, and the pork belly. All 3 appetizers were amazing and perfectly portioned so we could all enjoy some. I had the yellowtail snapper as I've heard that Norman's has the best yellowtail snapper and this could be the best filet of fish I've ever had. Highly recommend trying this fish out if you're a fish lover as I am. We also had the filet mignon and the Mongolian tomahawk pork chop. Both were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. We also enjoyed au gratin potatoes, creamed corn and lobster Mac. The creamed corn was the only item in the entire experience that I didnt care for because it had a pepper taste to it and that's not what I was expecting. Lobster Mac was great as was the au gratin potatoes. For dessert, they brought out a platter as a surprise to all us with my daughter's name written on the plate. That was a super cool touch and made the experience that much better. Not to be outdone they also brought us passionfruit creme brulee, key lime pie, cheesecake and tiramisu. Each of these desserts were delicious. Sadly I was able to taste but not indulge as I have to watch my sugar intake but the rest of my party loved each option given. I can't say enough how great this dining experience was to those that I know so I wanted to share what an outstanding job Norman's did for my family and how special they made my daughter feel. True hospitality is hard to find these days and Norman's did a fine job on this visit.“

“After sorting through the hundreds of restaurants to choose from in Orlando, my husband and I compromised on Eddie V’s to celebrate our babymoon. We had both never been, but always heard great things! I wanted seafood, he wanted steak, so it was the perfect combination. We made reservations for 7, let them know we were running a little late, and they had no issues getting us right in when we arrived. Our server, Ty M. was also expecting, so we made a genuine connection from the jump. She made excellent recommendations, answered all my silly questions, and made sure to communicate with us the whole night. Everything we got was delicious, from the Wagyu Dumplings, the infamous Lump Crab Cake, and our table side Banana’s Foster. Our night was accompanied by rose petals on the table and a sweet card to congratulate our pregnancy. I love that they had spirit-free mocktails and multiple options for both my husband and I. Ty made our experience that much better, and we will remember this night forever! Thank you, Ty and the Orlando Eddie V’s family.“

“This was probably the best seafood boil I’ve ever had! We ordered the red crab and shrimp. The crab was huge and packed with meat, and the shrimp were an excellent size as well.

What really made the meal stand out was the sauce—it was incredibly flavorful. We chose the medium spice level, and it was just right: enough heat to enhance the flavor without overpowering it. And don’t skip the pasta—it soaked up all that delicious sauce and made the whole meal even more satisfying.

The ambiance right on the water is spectacular, but the food is what truly stole the show. The Mahi Fish Tacos was absolutely phenomenal. It was perfectly cooked, incredibly fresh, and packed with flavor. Every bite was the perfect balance of texture and taste-easily some of the best fish tacos in town. “Hands down the best seafood I have had in a very long time. I was lucky to try this great food at a food truck Friday. The chicken and shrimp, my wife and 3 year old enjoyed. I went with the shrimp and crab. It was amazing. Fresh cooked to order. It came with potatoes, sausage and an ear of corn all smothered in this amazing homemade butter.I could go on and on about how great this meal was. And normally I don’t write about food, but this deserves 5 stars and more.I hope they are back in my town again next month because I really want to try the lobster.Great customer service and great people all around. “Honestly for a pool restaurant, it was pretty good. It's exactly what you expect it to be. The drinks were phenomenal and they had some unique options honestly, the food was ok, the service definitely made up for it. Our server took great care of us. My wife and I ordered the jerk chicken flatbread while lounging at the pool on our staycation, and it was ok, the flavors were there, but more individually, not really working very well together. It could have been also due to the fact that the flatbread was soft, and not very crunchy, so it didn't hold up the best. Now for pool food was it good, 100% yes, would I have ordered this in a sit down restaurant, no, not a chance. The drinks though, I would order every change I get, they were delicious and very well made.“

“We had an issue previously with our take-out order; We didnt get what we ordered (miscommunication maybe) and one of the items didn’t taste up to par). I called and spoke to the manager Zahra who invited us back so that they can make things right. She was very nice and understanding. We went back and Zahra greeted us and made sure that we ordered and received it in a timely manner. She checked on us also and updated us on our order that was being made. Jeremiah was the server and he was great, also...very friendly. He did well updating us, too. We were impressed. We even met the GM who happened to be there and stopped by the table to say hi and check in. Everyone was nice. We appreciate Zahra and all her help. She really is an EXCEPTIONAL manager and we see her dedication. I'm sure it's not easy managing a restaurant and I can imagine the issues that occur, but Zahra seems to really care about the outcome of things. Thank you Zahra (and Jeremiah) for all your help.
