“Seen the place many times driving by, so i decided to give them a try one day...called in the order and waited about 15 mins, arrived shortly thereafter, had to wait a few more mins before it was ready...the to go container was piping hot, even when i got home...everything is made to order so practice patience people...Everything was delicious, wings were still very warm when i got home, seasoned very nicely, the shrimp had an interesting coating i think it had cornmeal mixed in, still delicious!! “Let me start by saying we frequent this location often although the one on Lake Under Hill is closer. My husband and I are seated and he leaves for the restroom, but gives me his order and asked for me to order for him. Our waitress Alyssa arrives and I ordered the Fontina Pork Tenderloin (MEDIUM WELL) Wood-grilled ( but what he actually said he wanted was a bone in pork chop) with two sides asparagus and garlic herb potatoes for him and Steak (MEDIUM WELL) & Crab Cake with asparagus and Jasmin rice. When our food came my husband looked at it said that's not what he wanted, he wanted the bone in pork chop (MEDIUM WELL). Alyssa (very nice waitress) went to get the manager (Josh) he was extremely apologetic and was willing to take the food back and have the bone in pork chop made, my husband refused and ate his meal anyway, however the tenderloin wasn't MEDIUM WELL it was WELL DONE. My steak was WELL DONE and dry I didn't eat it I just ate the crab cake and the sides. I apologized to the waitress for the miscommunication apparently I ordered the wrong thing, and assured her that it was my fault because when I made the order I thought I was ordering the pork chop. At this time another manager (Matt) who we've seen several times before came to our table because he said he over heard the conversation in the back and he apologized as well, comped the meal, gave us two $25.00 gift cards and they made my husband the order we originally wanted. Matt, Josh and Alyssa went above and beyond to provide great customer service, I got emotional because although it was an honest mistake on my part they made the wrong, right, which they didn't have to do. “One word describes our evening at Nonno's, magnificent. My friend and I were looking for an Orlando gem and we found the perfect place. The food was deliciously made with love and care. Every bite was so flavorful. We both sat there savoring our food. We began with the bread and pesto. The pesto was so good we even dipped our calamari in it. Our entrees were Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and Lasagna. The flavors were soooo good. You could tell that fresh ingredients were used in the dishes. The chips and salsa are homemade and had a unique delicate flavor. We had the homemade guacamole which was fresh and better than any we’ve had at the chain restaurants. The Las Patronas specialty was like fajitas with melted cheese and a mix of meats - again unique and superb! My wife had a margarita that was homemade and without the chemical taste of a mix that she said was one of the best she’s ever had, thanks Danielle!It is located in the corner of a strip mall and is hard to see at night, but I’m really glad we kept looking (thanks Google maps). “I'll get to the good stuff first. My good friend and I went on Friday because we both love Seafood and we heard about the Current. My friend had the fish and chips, which came with fries and an embarrassingly small cup of slaw. It wasn't even a cup. It was one of those very small condiment cups they put by the ketchup pumps at some restaurants, why bother? Having said that the fish and chips were excellent fish was flaky excellently done. The breading was not overwhelming. The flavor was fantastic. The fries were very good. They were hot fresh. He also ordered an order of hush puppies. These were very good but appeared to be a frozen product. I ordered Connecticut lobster roll. And I have to say the bread was very good nicely toasted with a buttery bun. However, the lobster was good except for the claw meat. It appeared to be a little bit overdone and extremely tough. For $29 that lobster roll should get me excited. Unfortunately it did not. The lobster roll also came with fries which were good and fresh all in all the food was very good. As far as the restaurant decor is non existent. I don't understand why restaurants these days insist on using those stupid uncomfortable unwieldy metal chairs. This restaurant would definitely be up a notch or two if it had some nice booths along each of the side walls and some nice tables and chairs in the center there is plenty of room to have decent furniture. But it seems that so many new restaurants now think they have to have high top and low top tables with these very very uncomfortable metal chairs. as far as the outdoor seating, it was nice, but instead of using tables and chairs, they use picnic tables. If I'm going to order a $29 lobster roll, I'd like to set comfortably and eat it. All in all quality of the food at this restaurant was very good, the atmosphere not so much.“
“OMG, our dinner was sooooo delicious. Started off with Blue Crab Deviled Eggs, amazing. We ordered the 85 Day Aged Prime New Your Strip, and it just melts in your mouth. We also got the Wipped Mashed Potatoes and Creamed Spinach. The sides are large enough to share. Everything was incredible. We were very impressed with the whole experience. The manager came over and spoke with us for a while to make sure everything was to satisfaction. Our server kept checking on us and made several suggestions on other wonderful things to try. We ending dinner with a lots of leftovers which they boxed up for up. This is a very romantic atmosphere for the perfect date night. This is going to be our new spot to visit. Wow!!!“

“I cannot recommend Jimmy Hula's highly enough! It's primarily burgers and tacos, but far from your typical burgers and taco place. Everything has sort of an island-y theme, from the decor to the food. For example, my go-to is the luau taco, which has teriyaki chicken and pineapple-mango pico. The flavors are absolutely incredible, and the pineapple-mango pico is so good that I usually get a large side of it to-go afterwards. Not gonna lie, these are my favorite tacos in the world. Everything is pretty much customizable. The tacos are sold as singles, so you can mix and match the type and amount to fit your hunger level and so you can try a variety. You can also choose your protein. The burgers can also be made as either single or double. The atmosphere is super relaxed and casual, as you'd expect with the island theme, and the staff are always really nice. Jimmy Hula was one of my most frequent choices when I lived in central Florida; now, it's one of the places I absolutely have to stop at whenever I'm in town. Do yourself a favor and try Jimmy Hula“
