We came to F&D Steakhouse for a work dinner expecting a great meal, but Jay turned it into an experience I will remember. He was attentive without hovering, genuinely funny without trying too hard, and somehow knew exactly when to check on us. We even got to learn a little about him, which made the evening feel personal instead of just another night out.

The food was outstanding (compliments to the kitchen!), but Jay was the highlight of the night. He has that rare ability to make every table feel like they’re his favorite guests. By the end of the evening, it felt less like we’d been served by a waiter and more like we’d spent dinner with an old friend who just happened to know the menu inside and out.

Jay, thanks for making our work dinner one we’ll actually remember for all the right reasons. We’ll definitely be back, and next time I’m requesting “Jay’s section” before I even look at the menu!

“We have been customers of Carrabba’s for over 25 years, but unfortunately, the lasagna at the Sanford location has changed. Our recent order arrived with almost no pasta, mostly cheese and sauce. The manager kindly replaced it and offered a discount, which we appreciated, but the second lasagna still only had one layer of pasta. This is not about compensation — it’s about consistency and quality. We hope Carrabba’s brings back the lasagna quality we have enjoyed for many years.“

“This locally owned bar grill was amazing. German food. The cuts of meat are delicious and they perfectly cook it how you want it. No drink list but that's kind of expected at a small bar grill. Waitress and owner are very kind and friendly. Will be going back !“

“I bought a dozen large blue crabs yesterday. The store owner had pulled them from the water that morning! Talk about fresh! We had the owner boil them in his store, and he knew what he was doing! “Very disappointed, you'd think ordering a steak here they would cook it to the right temp. They didn't even get it close, by time we were checked on again and offered a refire. Which I am honesty not a fan of for many reasons. My son had already finished eating. So I'd requested boxes and to speak with a manager. After the manager admitted they did not even get it close to medium, but it was a perfect rare. Which I had not ordered due to my inability to eat a rare steak because of my dentures. His reasoning was because sometimes when they get an evening rush this kinda thing happens. This was not a satisfactory response for me. If you are going to charge me $35 dollars for a steak, there is no reason why it should not be cooked correctly! We drove up from Ormond Beach hungry and I left feeling tha same way. Just 70$ less in my pocket. :-/ ha“

“One of the best Chinese spots around central Florida. They used to have express food, which I still miss to this day. But their food is equivalent to old style Chinese. Their General Tso is always crispy and their beef dishes are always tender. I will gladly drive 30 minutes to get here!“
