“What a gem of a place to have in our town of Deland! The garlic escargot is the best we've ever had. The garlic sauce is over the top, want to lick the plate clean amazing. Leg of Lamb is my favorite, tender, seasoned to perfection, and just melts in your mouth. My husband's favorite is the prime ribeye. Just sheer perfection. Have never had anything on the menu that wasn't tasty. Get the wine, eat the dessert, enjoy. You won't regret stopping here.“

“I eat vegan and my family wanted seafood so we tried this place. The online menu showed vegan options but apparently the online menu isn't updated. I had a salad but the others' all loved their meals: Ribeye, stuffed mahi, trio dinner. They all would go back. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and it was so busy and she was on her game!“
“Just tried them for the first time. The wings were DELICIOUS! The fries were a little bland (but I like a lot of salt) and I wasn't crazy about the ranch but the wings were definitely the best I've had in a long time! The staff was very friendly and helped my husband make the perfect choice on my wing flavor! Haha we will definitely be back!“
“Great food and service. Setting and atmosphere was great, but they could use some cover on their patio in the afternoon. The sun beats down on you if you sit outside in the afternoon, and they don't even have umbrellas to help cover up.“

It's $12 to $20 to eat there, since they focus on seafood.You have to drive into the metal scrapyard to find this place by the way. Just drive into the parking lot for the metal business and you'll see the food truck inside the lot.“

“Came here for my birthday, There was no wait but nobody welcomed us when we came in & we kinda stood around for a few minutes till we were acknowledged anyway, The server was nice and efficient He made sure we had everything we needed drinks etc. The food was phenomenal the presentation was beautiful We were deciding between Mi Mexican next door or Garcia's and this place was very reasonably priced and the food was delicious definitely coming back here again, also they had lots of margarita options that i'll try next time. Very comfortable inside not too many people and the decor was also cute.“
“Very nice place. The building is over 100 years old and has a nice old world charm. The food was very good. They are known for their steaks and have some specials usually posted on the board. The ribeye was really good with the coffee crust. The glazed salmon was also very good. The fried mushrooms appetizer was excellent.The shrimp scampi fettuccine has very nice garlic butter wine sauce. Service was quick and our waiter was very attentive.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair accessible ramp is to the side of the main entrance for dine in and outdoor eating area is parking level.“
“I used to LOVE going to Captain D's with my Mama and Grandparents growing up. It's been over a decade since I'd been, and this place didn't disappoint! Food tasted great, exactly as I remembered it (which is saying a lot because so many things aren't the same since the pandemic), staff was surprisingly friendly, and can't wait to go back!“
