“The very spicy Sausage and Chicken Gumbo and Fried Green Tomatoes here are my favorite on a cool day or evening. They’re the Bomb and filling!!!Vegetarian options: I love the Fried Green TomatoesKid-friendliness: Fun to see Joey the Great EgretWheelchair accessibility: Ramps“
“Dungeons crab was way overcooked. Bartender started out not so good until I ordered $150 just for myself. I asked to have two fresh filets of fish I just caught on a fishing charter from thier docks and he said they were too busy. I ordered and a guy came out from the kitchen I asked him and said not a problem. I just had to ordered a side and ordered much more that that. Had to pay $9per pound to cook the fish.“
“We stumbled across this place while looking for the North Turn historical marker. What a great find. Atmosphere can't be beat. We had Chicken Sandwich and Shrimp Pasta. Both were great. If I ever make it back to Daytona I will be here again.“
“Great place and atmosphere! Our server was Sasha and she was great!Food was excellent, we had a party of 7 and everyone was happy. Will be back!Vegetarian options: Fried green BLTParking: Parking will depend on time and day you come.Plenty of parking with a couple handicap spots“
“This is an Irish restaurant and if that’s the food you’re looking for that’s what you’ll get. Outside of that there is few options. The fish tacos were really good but extremely messy. They also had an okay kids burger and Mac and cheese was on par with any other kids meal. The server was extremely nice just slow and might have been over worked. Plenty of parking since it’s in a strip mall. They are not dietary friendly. They tried very hard to accommodate and were very polite about but none of the staff was familiar with the ingredients in the food when no dairy was requested on one meal.“
“Establishment was clean and tidy, we waited a moment to order, the delicious and tantalizing aromas of seared meat made the wait to order worse. The hotdogs are ginormous, on toasty buns. Most excellent little place, prices reasonable.Kid-friendliness: Kids love hotdogs.“
“We really enjoyed our dinner. The food was spot on, service was great, Alician took good care of us! The treetop bar was fun, music was good too, a little loud for talking.Wheelchair accessibility: There are stairs and an elevator to the treehouse.“
“As you might tell by its name, Aunt Catfish’s serves a variety of catfish. Catfish filets, catfish sandwiches, grilled catfish, fried catfish, and all in different variations. It’s a real home style eatery with friendly staff, a big menu, homemade accompaniments like cornbread, cheesy grits, baked beans, and pickled beets. The service was very good and if this is the type of food you like, it’s very well done. It seems to be very family friendly and sits adjacent to the water. Nice experience. Crowded, noisy, and happy.Parking: Big parking lotKid-friendliness: Lots of children“
“Something special here! Upscale but casual decor and very attentive service. Anthony was great! Started with flaming chorizo and cod fritters. That sauce was amazing! We had octopus in garlic sauce, as well as filet on a black stone. Yes cooked it myself to a perfect medium rare. Yum! Finished with lemon blueberry ice cream cake recommended by Anthony and he was on point. Will be back soon.“
“A family run steamed seafood stand. You make your order and leave - “come back in 15 minutes”. Thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp with corn potatoes and two boiled eggs. Seasoned nicely. For a boy from Louisiana who travels with his seasoning I did add some spice. But food was hot, seasoned well and tasty. I will go again, next time I’m in Daytona. More than I could eat. All for $19.00. A great value too! Minus you have to take out. No eating on premises. So I went to the park and had a beer.“
“What a nice place! Ambiance. Great servers and food. I had the mahi blt. The only way to make this a 5 is to have great bacon. It was a 5! Fries were awesome. Fish is cooked and seasoned perfectly. Great view of the river and marina.“
“There are few places in this world that check all the boxes. The Spott doesn’t even know what boxes are as they are so far outside the box in every aspect of culinary excellence! From their creative cuisine, out of this world chef, amazing staff, and the dedication, loyalty and over the top service from the owners. The Spott in New Smyrna Beach FL with their constantly amazing food has won every kudos from me and this town!“
“We visit as a family tradition that started with my grandfather every spring break. We love the food, the location, the atmosphere. Our kids love going too!Parking: Parking can get hard to find the later in the evening you wait as it's a popular restaurant to get there early.Kid-friendliness: Kids love coming here. Variety of food options.“
“Food was delicious and beautifully prepared! Service was excellent. Best watermelon martini!Vegetarian options: Only one of us was vegetarian but she found many options and thoroughly enjoyed them.Dietary restrictions: Husband is gluten free and had many options without the dish being stripped of all taste!“
“It does not look like much, but this is one of the best places to eat in the county. We try to go a few times a month because everything on the menu is awesome. The alligator ribs are awesome. Small ribs in one of the best sauces I have ever had. The Francaise fish is the best. I eat Keto so they gladly take out the pasta and sub in fresh spinach. When picking fish I have found it all good but especially the flounder, pompano and the trigger fish. The wife loves the farm chicken dish. Full of flavor and very moist. Be sure to try the steak and mushroom soup, it is divine. All the desserts are great especially the worms in dirt (think of it as chocolate mousse over oreo crumbs), but I love the pineapple cake or if you are lucky they have a special macadamia and passion fruit cake once a month. Be sure and ask for it so we pressure them to add it to the full time menu. Brunch is awesome. The banana french toast is a sin it is sooooo good. We cannot say enough good things about this place. "Looks are deceiving" is the mantra. The service folks are great. One down side is that it is always busy at night. Reservations in advance are a must. We ate at the bar on a Friday and Saturday a few times and they turned down over 20 tables every night while we were there. Check out all of our reviews. If we do not like it we do no review it so all of the ones you see are places that are fantastic. Follow us if you like. We had over 42 million reviews this year so far and we thank you for that. We don't get paid, we just love to eat. Be sure to click on "RobH" at the top of this review to see all of them and to follow us if you like good food and FUN.“
“The quintessential beach bar and grill, right on the beach with gorgeous views of the Atlantic. Get a burger, they are so dang delicious! It's always busy on the weekend. Small parking lot fills fast, but I have an annual beach parking pass, so I use the Flagler access ramp next to the restaurant and find a spot within walking distance. Service is fast and friendly.“
“Had ‘the manatee’ sandwich today for lunch and it was delicious! Everything tasted so fresh and the bread was so good. Would definitely recommend this place. Sandwich was made to order and the staff were all very friendly. Cute little spot.“
“Ordered for a family of 4...the server was very helpful and made sure to get our large order right. While waiting (didn't take long at all for the amout we ordered) the cooks was laughing and signing while they worked. Loved it! One was even talking about my ruben with pepper jack cheese and how he was gonna have to try it. Great attitudes and the food was amazing. We will return on our next getaway!!!“
“Macker was the last place we ate at on our vacation to Daytona Beach. The blue crab was amazing and the staff went above and beyond! Everything was amazing. I will definitely be back and plan to go more than once during our vacation! Skip the chains like Bubba and Joe's....this place delivers. 5 stars!!!“
“First time at restaurant. The food was good. Don’t care for how the menu is where you have to use your phone to scan the menu. Everyone may not have that luxury. Otherwise the service was great. Our server J the young lady was awesome. I will be going back“
“I enjoy their dishes a lot for various reasons 1) not too salty 2) clean eating: the owner seek to eliminate preservatives & processed ingredients much as possible3) handmade “ man- do “ (appetizer)4) servers are all polite & quick to please customersI live a bit out of way from this restaurant and this is my “ go-to -place “ for Korean food. I highly recommend this place ( I’m South Korean so I know what I’m talking about … ??? Many of their dishes are authentic so if they are a bit odd.. simply ask them. ie. Original BiBimBop has crusty, crispy burnt rice layer ( bottom ) but you might think that it was burnt by mistake … It’s not. That’s the best part. The owner told me that they are no longer serving it like that anymore. But you can always ask for that crusty bottom layer. Also, you can always opt-out for that egg on top of BiBimBop. I like eggs fried not raw and watery. Or you can ask the sever o make sure the egg is cooked. If the dish comes hot enough, you can mix it up and let the heat of “dol-sop” bowl and the other ingredients cook the egg for you. It is yummy all mixed up together. Don’t forget to add sesame oil & ?️ hot pepper paste“
“I took my tastebuds to Ocean Deck Restaurant And Beach Club. Ocean Deck is located in Daytona Beach, Florida. When I say the vibes at this restaurant were immaculate, fun, & vibrant I truly mean that! One of my favorite dishes to throw down is Alligator tail. Ocean Deck only serve Gator Bites right off their menu. I asked was it possible for them to make Gator Quesadillas. And they absolutely came out perfect!! They also served a Rasta sauce for dipping that was extremely delicious with a light spice/kick. I was very satisfied & impressed with my experience at Ocean Deck. To top it off the live band was jamming & really had the place goin!! Overall the service was great, the people were friendly, & the atmosphere was giving all the vibes!! Thank you all for tapping in to my food tasting journey & experience! We are now over the 500,000 views & only growing!! Peace Love & Blessings to you all. #Beamenology ™️“
“I've been going to Rice Bistro since they first opened. The food is very good and priced reasonably but the service that Alice provides is top-notch. I highly recommend you try Rice Bistro and I'm sure you will agree with my review.“
“Crabby's is my "breakfast at the beach" spot when I come over to New Smyrna. Perfectly situated across from the beach and parking. Menu selections are great and the food is delicious. Staff is courteous and wonderful.??? for Crabby's!“
“Malibu Beach Grill has a pleasant environment outdoor seating, available next to the lake and playground. Their food and service are both reliably good, above average for this area. Prices are a bit steeper than some other options, but the food is just so worth it! The plates usually come with a side of vegetables, and some sort of a starch, or perhaps a second vegetable, which is nice to have,if you're trying to eat healthily. I usually get the citrus scallops, but I've never been let down no matter what I choose. Their desserts are usually equally good and worth the extra spend.“
“We walked in with 11 people on Easter Sunday for dinner. The hostess was very friendly and was ready to seat us earlier than expected. During our short wait, we ordered drinks from the bar. The bartender was fast and also really nice. Strawberry margaritas and mojitos were refreshing and not too sweet. The seasonings, fair pricing, and service is what made dinner absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back. Hopefully you’re early enough to also enjoy the peel’n eat shrimp special. Highly recommend. Don’t pass this one up.Kid-friendliness: Tons of options between the sides and the kids menu.“
“I have to say something negative about the chairs and tables. They are all made out of metal and the staff do not know how to lift them off of the ground. So several times, we could not even think straight because of the nose that they made rearranging tables and chairs... Deafening. You definitely cannot have a conversation if they are rearranging anything.Food great, drinks great, atmosphere and location great. Ethan was our server and he was always available and had all the answers and suggestions we needed. This is definitely one of the better waterfront eateries in the area.“
“We were greeted and sat promptly by Dennis, who was very accommodating to seating requests, and very involved with the entire staff to make sure everything was above expectations. Giuseppe took care of my family, and I. We cannot say enough about his personality and professionalism. Had an absolute great experience, as we always do.“
“First time eating here, but all the food seemed really good. Expensive for the dishes served, but it’s also seafood…so it’s more or less expected. Some more finesse on the dishes would have been nice, but I go out for good food, not fantastic presentation. That’s just a bonus. So we will definitely go back. (Ate outside, so no idea what it looked like or was like inside.)“
“Went here for my aunt's birthday and they brought out a delicious dessert for her great service the waiters were so nice and 1 order came out wrong and with no hesitation they fixed it love this place definitely will be coming back again soon“
“We attended the “Prisoner of Love” wine pairing dinner. Evan, Bree and the whole staff took great care of us! All 4 courses were outstanding - we are still trying to decide which one was the “Star of the show …” We will be back, soon! (And REALLY hoping the spinach salad with crispy artichokes and goat cheese makes it to the regular menu!)“
“Jonesha AKA Nesha was our waitress. She was attentive, had humor and helped us navigate through the menu since it was our 1st time. Everything was amazing food wise. Seasoned like someone's grandpappy was cookin in the back Lol. The only "complaint" was there was a miscommunication with the wing order so it came out way later than the rest of ours but they made it right. Definitely recommend any time“
“We wanted to try this place especially because it has a lot of vegan choices and both my daughters are vegan. I have to say out of all the places I’ve been. This is one of my favorites and I’ll definitely be going back. It’s a nice little small, quaint place on Beach Street in Daytona Beach. The atmosphere was good and the service is excellent. Not to mention how the food was precisely made to order and to please the pallet.Vegetarian options: There are a lot of VG options, and they were more than happy to customize what you like.“
“Absolutely love this place! It’s a must try for those you haven’t yet! The customer service is fast & great, the food is amazing and it’s such a peaceful setting. I cannot wait for their grand opening and hopefully their lobster bisque is still on the menu!“
“One of the better diners in the area. Clean with that family feel. Busy but not packed to the point of being a pain. Which is a good thing. Lots of people going must mean good food at good prices. More food choices than most with large portions at a bit better pricing than most other diners. Enough tables and staff to get people seated at a reasonable time during the busier times. Wait staff is attentive and never left us wanting. Large parking lot with easy in and out. Looking for a diner? This place will not disappoint.“
“Where to begin? It's a small establishment to be sure, but that only adds to the atmosphere. A bigger venue would only feel less inviting. As it is, the restaurant is clean and well maintained. The bathroom was spotless. The wait staff is attentive and friendly without feeling cloying or pushy. They never made us feel like they were trying to clear a table for the next guests. If that weren't enough, the food is incredible. The crepe lasagna is now one of the top three meals I've ever had at a restaurant in my life. It was tender and flavorful without being soupy or turning into mush, as so many lasagnas do. I will point out that our food took a while, however in this case that's not a downside. This restaurant is the kind of place you go for a proper multi course dinner, not an eatery that tries to serve as many people as possible, as quickly as possible. It never felt as though we were waiting our food, it felt as if they were waiting for us to be ready for the next course. It is overall, friendly, welcoming, and serves absolutely outstanding food.On the five-star Google scale, this place is a 10 out of 10. Absolutely outstanding job and I thank you for the experience.“
“I made reservations for my 2 adult men to celebrate their birthdays together and this is what my oldest has to say:The food was absolutely outstanding; we got the bone-in filet with a cabernet-shallot sauce and a side of millionaire potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked, and everything was presented with care. The smoked old-fashioned literally came in its own smoke-filled glass case! Looking at the ocean and the slowly dimming sky while having our meal was an amazing atmosphere for a nice dinner. My only complaint was with the timeliness of service. There were multiple occasions during our meal where we would be waiting on service for upwards of 10 minutes, which was especially awkward when we had finished our meals and sat with empty plates. You would think that having a team of two service your table would prevent this. Despite this minor complaint, both of our servers were incredibly friendly and accommodating to our meal alterations and requests.“
“We visited yesterday, it was a fantastic experience. The ocean view is stunning with the beach and waves rolling in. Chose the Coconut shrimp and the Calamari Caesar salad; they were both excellent. The Key Lime pie was a great choice for dessert. The staff was friendly and very attentive. We will be back tonight for another enjoyable evening!“
“Drove by this place on our way to the lighthouse and decided to come back and give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised at the amazing service we received. We were seated immediately and tended to right away. Food and drinks were wonderful and delicious. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Couldn’t recommend this place more.“
“Heaven in your backyard! This is a gem of a find! Recently enjoyed the Rueben, Rachel, Burgers, Wings and Meatloaf (as a family) so we had to return for St. Patrick's day. Drinks were whimsical and delicious. As a "Kennedy," we were glad we didn't celebrate anywhere else! Shephard's Pie and Irish Stew were sinfully delicious. The family friendly service makes me wish every day were a holiday. Make this your go-to date night, family night, celebration or night out spot!“
“We love Red Lobster, but didn't live near one till I recently moved to the area. We had the best experience at the Daytona Beach Shores location. Our family had the pleasure of having Michelle as our server. It was busy in the restaurant, but she took it in stride and made sure we didn't have to ask for a thing, she was right there with any thing we could possibly need. I had the endless shrimp, my wife had surf and turf as did our son. Is was all amazing! Needless to say we will be back often. If your in the area you can't go wrong eating here.“
“We went here for the very first time and really loved it. We only ordered off the Dim Sum menu and it was just what we wanted. All of the familiar dishes we know and love, great flavor and reasonably priced. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable and he says all the dim sum items are made without MSG. We will for sure be back and can’t wait to try the regular menu.“
“From the house wine to the tirimisu we thoroughly enjoyed every bite we ate. The crepe lasagna is one of a kind and a must try if you've never had it. The service was great and it was very busy for a Wednesday night. A quaint little gem right on Flagler Ave.“
“It's your dive bar kinda seafood fried, grilled, or blackened. Flavor was a bit lacking on the special for a higher price point. My biggest peeve of any restaurant is always rice. Get a dedicated rice cooker and serve real rice. The pilaf tastes like boil in a bag. Staff was amazing though. I'd return and simply order something else. I'd probably have enjoyed the shrimp better.Parking: Your shoes will get dirtyKid-friendliness: Great spot for kiddos“
“My friend and I were looking for a seafood place to hang out for a late lunch. After doing a quick Google search, found the Boston's Fish House in New Smyrna Beach, FL. I had the shrimp wrap with sweet potato fries (which were yummy). The wrap was stuffed with moist, fresh shrimp along with lettuce and celery. So good. My friend had the Blackened Mahi Mahi Sandwich with fries and she said it was delicious! The service was fine. The restaurant itself has a laid back vibe. There is outdoor setting where your furry companions can hang out with you!“
“What a delicious meal! The bartender, Lauren, recommended the special, Stuffed Grouper! We ordered it lightly blackened and it was seasoned perfectly and just melted in our mouths. We are definitely going back to this restaurant! Thank you Lauren for recommending this entree.“
“Coastal Grill and Raw Bar is a convenient restaurant for both residents of Port Orange, Florida and travelers heading up or down Interstate 95. Coastal Grill and Raw Bar is located on Dunlawton Avenue which leads to an exit on Interstate 95 and is pretty much the main road heading east and west in Port Orange, Florida. The place has a pretty cool ambiance, it definitely enhances the overall dining experience. The service is friendly and professional. This also enhances the dining experience. The menu is a bit eclectic. Seafood and barbecue on the same menu seems a bit of a stretch, but it is what it is. The New England clam chowder was a great start to the meal. I am a huge fan of New England clam chowder and Coastal Grill and Raw Bar has a pretty solid New England clam chowder. For my main entree, I went with the fried seafood platter. Nothing spectacular, but nothing terrible either. I was between three and four stars, but went with four stars mainly for the service and the ambiance. The food I would probably go with three stars.“
“Tomahawk steak was excellent, great people and very good service prices were reasonable I would come back for sureParking: Parking is around the corner from the restaurant the spots are labeled for the pier houseWheelchair accessibility: Very easy to come in all one level from outside to inside“
“Our server was very accommodating despite the fact that she was assigned to guest on the outside patio and inside, on the opposite side of the restaurant near the kitchen. In addition, my husband ordered the only steak entree on the menu, but the steak was too tough to eat. The server was very understanding and tried to accommodate us.“
“We ate here on vacation, the luve music was awesome! Drinks were really good and our bartender was great! We knew it would be a wait to sit, the only reason it gets low stars on service is because we sat down and it had been 20min before someone helped us, and that was after we yelled for someone. He then said he would find our server, and didnt.. food was good, but overall the server made our experience a little frustrating especially after waiting an hour to sit to begin with! Our bartender was amazing though!“
