Maybe I am just being spiteful. I admit that. However, I went into this bar/restaurant because I was parked at the public beach parking next door and the meter could not accept credit card payments—it was broken. I asked if they could break a hundred dollar bill and they flat said no. She said they didn’t have it. The bar was packed. I find that hard to believe. She didn’t ask any of the servers or the manager. I realize it is a restaurant and not a bank but the interaction just felt discourteous. I worked in the service industry for years and it just was not personable. End rant lol. I will be at the beach all day but I will not be taking my family to this restaurant for lunch or dinner. Not today or ever. And I’m posting this review because that is the impact of a negative service interaction“

“This place is great. We always go for the crab cakes, and anything fried we get cajun style. The keylime pie is home made, and great. I love the fried fish basket cajun style. Super good. Their JB's rum runner is very tasty and has a kick. Same with Margheritas. Love it here.“

“Loved it here for lunch as did our guests. Riverdeck did a great job on the renovations, clean, bright, tables on the deck ,not crowded in and with a beautiful river view all around. Interesting menu choices, lots of fun cocktails too. We had the pleasure of meeting BRAKUS (not sure of sp) on his first day there as a server. He was quite personable, fun, and entertaining! He will definitely be a great asset to the restaurant! The pesto shrimp flatbread and ahi tuna app were very good. My husband had a burger that had ham , cheese, onion rings, bacon stacked on it.. it was over 4 -5 in high.. difficult to eat but good. * I really dislike when ppl give ratings of 1 or 2 ‘based on an issue such as valet, or club colors ’. Not food/service. Doesn’t seem fair. I can see why they use valet, the parking lot has ruts that rainwater accumulates in, ppl would get wet getting in or out of their cars.“
