“Yesterday, we had the best lunch at Cafe Verde. Having recently switched to a vegetarian diet, we were looking for a place that offered delicious food within our dietary restrictions. Let me just say, we are ashamed we hadn’t come here sooner. We dined outside under a shaded gazebo and even enjoyed a brief rainstorm. Our server was very nice and attentive. We ordered our drinks and food, and were astonished at how large the portions were. I opted for the Mediterranean Salad, and my husband ordered the Tofu 'Poke' Salad with a side of rice to make it a bowl. Let me tell you, we were both thrilled with the presentation, and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious! There were lots of beautiful plants surrounding the property which I absolutely loved! We will definitely return for another meal. We highly recommend this place for a date, or a casual lunch or dinner.“

Looking for somewhere close within walking distance, we decided to try this restaurant first and loved it so much we actually decided to go back the very next night for our anniversary. Our server, Jennifer, was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the selections. Every single thing we had from the bread to the entrees to the dessert.... Was exceptional! Highly recommend! May even go back for brunch today! Best crab cakes we have ever had!“

The dish I had, although delicious, was not very hot as it probably sat dying in the window while waiting on the rest of the food to come out. Despite the negatives, the food is well worth returning for.“

“Great atmosphere on the water at JBs! I had the Captains Platter and my wife had the crab legs which was fresh, hot and flavorful as I had the Cajun seasoning. Our server, Ryan, was on point with drinks, food and personality. I recommend sitting outside if weather permits. After dinner, walk their docks and watch the manatees as they swim by. They have improved their docks with bench seating either while waiting for dinner or relaxing after your meal. On your next visit, I recommend asking for Ryan!“

The”garlic” and bread…. Omg! Dinner was out of this world!! 32oz rib eye! Wow! Cooked to perfection! The decor is spectacular, plants, garlic hanging from the ceiling too much to mention.
