We have been planning to visit the Bakers Table for a few years now , but never really had time. Today that was remedied.

We truly enjoyed each dish we ordered for lunch/brunch !!

Every dish had its own unique flair with fresh ingredients and nothing was over done or over seasoned.

Shrimp and grits - my favorite ever.
New England clam chowder - perfect.
Shaved prime rib sandwich - fresh and amazing.

Pastries - delicious
Cappuccino- delightful

Aaron - our server was amazing and perfectly attentive with great knowledge of every dish. Our water glass was never empty.

“I wanted to try a different restaurant and A friend recommended as a nice place and said the food was “ok”. So My first time visiting Corkscrew Bar and Grille and I agreed with her. The food wasn’t bad but was just OK and average. The atmosphere was awesome! Nice Upscale. I would probably only go back if I went with others that specifically wanted to go there. They also offer outside seating. Pretty pricey.“

“My husband and I decided to stop in for breakfast yesterday morning. They were busy, but we were seated right away by a polite hostess. Pam was our waitressand she was wonderful. She recommended the BEC breakfast (with cheesy grits) and it was perfect. The sandwich was delicious and my first time for the cheesy grits and they were very yummy with a layer of melted and browned cheese on top. Pam was very attentive and checked back on us making sure we had everything we wanted. Though they were busy the service and food was great !“

“Yesterday, we had the best lunch at Cafe Verde. Having recently switched to a vegetarian diet, we were looking for a place that offered delicious food within our dietary restrictions. Let me just say, we are ashamed we hadn’t come here sooner. We dined outside under a shaded gazebo and even enjoyed a brief rainstorm. Our server was very nice and attentive. We ordered our drinks and food, and were astonished at how large the portions were. I opted for the Mediterranean Salad, and my husband ordered the Tofu 'Poke' Salad with a side of rice to make it a bowl. Let me tell you, we were both thrilled with the presentation, and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious! There were lots of beautiful plants surrounding the property which I absolutely loved! We will definitely return for another meal. We highly recommend this place for a date, or a casual lunch or dinner.“

“We went to just have some apps to get out of the house. We have been before. The last time we had pot roast. It is amazing and melts in your mouth the meat was so tender. I love Caprese and the last time we were in it was the sliced mozzarella and beefsteak tomatoes. So, I ordered it again, however it came with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls. I do not like cherry tomatoes and explained to Carl. I have to say I was so impressed he went above and beyond and found what I liked and made a new caprese for me with beefsteak tomato. We also had fried cheese sticks as well. Going above and beyond will always keep me coming back. The only con is that we enjoy sitting in the bar area which is really loud on the nights they have music. We could sit in the other area but it just does not have the same feeling. The owner Travis has done an amazing job.“

“This place is great. We always go for the crab cakes, and anything fried we get cajun style. The keylime pie is home made, and great. I love the fried fish basket cajun style. Super good. Their JB's rum runner is very tasty and has a kick. Same with Margheritas. Love it here.“

It was prepared well but he wished they had a top sirloin steak on offer. He'll try the steak frites next time.
