Our first visit was to the Ormond location, which was also absolutely spectacular, which led us to visiting the New Smyrna Beach location. This location is much larger with dining indoors, upstairs and downstairs along with patio service.

Our server was Amanda and we have every intention of asking for her in the future. We were so happy to have all of our expectations met.

Presentation, flavor, portion sizes, and value is completely there. It’s an experience rarely found in Volusia County. The atmosphere and vibe is absolutely there for everybody from every walk of life. This restaurant in particularly this location is extremely highly recommended from someone who usually only goes out to eat when I can have a chef tasting or Michelin star experience. There’s absolutely no reason to be on the fence on whether or not you should go. Sorry no photos, I was busy being present with the awesome experience.”

“Big Joe's is a local favorite. It's been there for as long as I can remember. The service is always on point and the subs are delicious. I think its the bread (amazong bread) that makes the sandwich but it could also be the meat. Everything is always fresh.. portions are always large and ive never been disappointed.

My only warning is.. once you go.. you will go again and again.

They also offer outside seating. Pretty pricey.”

We have been planning to visit the Bakers Table for a few years now , but never really had time. Today that was remedied.

We truly enjoyed each dish we ordered for lunch/brunch !!

Every dish had its own unique flair with fresh ingredients and nothing was over done or over seasoned.

Shrimp and grits - my favorite ever.
New England clam chowder - perfect.
Shaved prime rib sandwich - fresh and amazing.

Pastries - delicious
Cappuccino- delightful

Aaron - our server was amazing and perfectly attentive with great knowledge of every dish. Our water glass was never empty.

“last night was our 17th wedding anniversary and we chose Bella Valentino’s for dinner. They took reservations which is a plus and when we were running late, they said don’t rush and we will change it to 7 see you when you get here. we didn’t feel like we upset anyone and we felt very welcomed. We got there and immediately was greeted by Paula (who we found out was one of the owners) and she told us all about the place and the special features that her husband and staff would be creating tonite. Once we sat we were not only greeted by the server who took our drink order but brought fresh bread and bruschetta to the table. (soo good by the way) The wine was terrific and let me tell you what else was. The shrimp 🦐 appetizer, the Pear pasta purses and the escargot. (There was four of us, relax lol) But then came our entrees. I had a taste of everyone’s and they were all amazing but mine was the best. I had the eggplant 🍆 and shrimp 🍤 parmigian. Holy smokes it was yummy!!! We ended up hanging out there for a total of 3 hours, I mean we literally closed the place down but not before dessert!! We had tiramisu, and two others I can’t remember but what I do remember is that their 80 plus year old mom makes all the desserts and there were like 10 or so options. Yum yum yum and more yum. We ended the evening with espressos and more wine 🍷. We had more amazing conversation with Paula and the staff (her family) and then we finally made our way to the car. Long story short we will be back time and again! Amazing place for dinner if you are looking for great food, romantic and cozy atmosphere with the friendliest staff ever‼️ I have never been treated so well at a restaurant before and if there was a 6th star to give I would give them six because it was really that good. Maybe I am just being spiteful. I admit that. However, I went into this bar/restaurant because I was parked at the public beach parking next door and the meter could not accept credit card payments—it was broken. I asked if they could break a hundred dollar bill and they flat said no. She said they didn’t have it. The bar was packed. I find that hard to believe. She didn’t ask any of the servers or the manager. I realize it is a restaurant and not a bank but the interaction just felt discourteous. I worked in the service industry for years and it just was not personable. End rant lol. I will be at the beach all day but I will not be taking my family to this restaurant for lunch or dinner. Not today or ever. And I’m posting this review because that is the impact of a negative service interaction”

Not food/service. Doesn’t seem fair. I can see why they use valet, the parking lot has ruts that rainwater accumulates in, ppl would get wet getting in or out of their cars.”

We started our meal with a perfect bottle of sauvignon blanc, complimentary olives, and the whipped ricotta appetizer (10/10 recommend). We both love spicy vodka sauce so we couldn’t resist. I went with the spicy vodka pasta with shrimp and my husband enjoyed the special, which was a lobster ravioli with the same sauce. Absolutely perfect; great spice and even better flavor. “This was a quaint little spot “off the beaten path” in New Smyrna that was a pleasant surprise! My husband got the Curry and I got the Pad Thai and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. YUM. I also got Boba, which is one of my favorite things. I highly recommend this spot!”

“Definitely could use some serious updating done.to the rooms considering how over priced this place is per night they charge just as much as some 3 and 4 star hotels over on beachside in daytona. Although the tiki bar definitely makes up for the lack of attention these rooms get from the staff here.

Looks like there have been some updates to these rooms and some other improvements around the property not sure how the room rates have or have not changed to date but I wouldn't imagine they have changed too much since my last review.”

“Saw their truck around and decided to check them out since I needed some work done before selling my house. They were able to get everything wrapped up cleanly, right on schedule. A few hiccups with communication, but overall no complaints about the work itself. Made my life a bit easier during a busy time (and that’s helpful).”

“Never been to a Starbicks before but wanted to try something new. Ive always got the Caramel frappucinos from McDonalds. But today I ordered the Starbucks Caramel Ribbon Crunch frappacino. And Zinnia the server was amazing. She was patient with me while I asked questions. And then when I got to the window, I had a mishap, but she helped me out. So I got to try the frappacino even when my internet unexpectedly came out of my account. Now, I will never see McDonalds Frappacinos the same. The Starbucks one, though kinda expensive, is so worth it. So all in all, the drink. Amazing. The store. Amazing. And Zinnia? Absolutely superb!! Thanks for a wonderful first experience.”
