Bad stuff - we had a reservation but were made to wait 20 minutes. Your front staff seemed flustered. I have to assume the folks at the table that was promised to us stayed longer than they should have? Maybe you put folks there earlier with no reservation? That’s unclear. But what is clear is that the ability to make a reservation so we don’t have to wait keeps us coming to Sonapa. So it was a let down. I think better management of reserved tables is needed and if you seat someone without reservations at a table that is reserved for 5:45, let the party know they need to vacate by then.”

“last night was our 17th wedding anniversary and we chose Bella Valentino’s for dinner. They took reservations which is a plus and when we were running late, they said don’t rush and we will change it to 7 see you when you get here. we didn’t feel like we upset anyone and we felt very welcomed. We got there and immediately was greeted by Paula (who we found out was one of the owners) and she told us all about the place and the special features that her husband and staff would be creating tonite. Once we sat we were not only greeted by the server who took our drink order but brought fresh bread and bruschetta to the table. (soo good by the way) The wine was terrific and let me tell you what else was. The shrimp 🦐 appetizer, the Pear pasta purses and the escargot. (There was four of us, relax lol) But then came our entrees. I had a taste of everyone’s and they were all amazing but mine was the best. I had the eggplant 🍆 and shrimp 🍤 parmigian. Holy smokes it was yummy!!! We ended up hanging out there for a total of 3 hours, I mean we literally closed the place down but not before dessert!! We had tiramisu, and two others I can’t remember but what I do remember is that their 80 plus year old mom makes all the desserts and there were like 10 or so options. Yum yum yum and more yum. We ended the evening with espressos and more wine 🍷. We had more amazing conversation with Paula and the staff (her family) and then we finally made our way to the car. Long story short we will be back time and again! Amazing place for dinner if you are looking for great food, romantic and cozy atmosphere with the friendliest staff ever‼️ I have never been treated so well at a restaurant before and if there was a 6th star to give I would give them six because it was really that good. Maybe I am just being spiteful. I admit that. However, I went into this bar/restaurant because I was parked at the public beach parking next door and the meter could not accept credit card payments—it was broken. I asked if they could break a hundred dollar bill and they flat said no. She said they didn’t have it. The bar was packed. I find that hard to believe. She didn’t ask any of the servers or the manager. I realize it is a restaurant and not a bank but the interaction just felt discourteous. I worked in the service industry for years and it just was not personable. End rant lol. I will be at the beach all day but I will not be taking my family to this restaurant for lunch or dinner. Not today or ever. And I’m posting this review because that is the impact of a negative service interaction”

“I had a party catered by La Terraza NSB this past weekend, and I was nothing but blown away! The ordering process was easy, they took care of everything for me (a some extras)! 100% go see them or order from them you won't be disappointed!”

“This restaurant is my favorite spot for a quick tasty Italian meal or Trivia! The pizza is pretty good too. Tuesday nights we love go head over for happy hour (ends at 6pm) and gear up for some trivia(starts at 6pm). We were hoping to find a trivia place in NSB and this place is our favorite, it goes great with the delicious Italian food and BOGO drinks if you get there early! Service is friendly and familiar (we bring our young kids). This is a chill, locals spot. Great to eat at after a round of golf too!”

“This is cutest place! I visited Daytona Beach for my birthday. I met some friends from out of town that rode on the plane with a guy that recommended this location. Robin and Charlotte waited on us when we visited and we had an amazing time talking with them. We ordered the lobster rolls, Caesar salad, cookies and cream gelato, and key lime pie. The food was amazing!! We’re glad that we made the trip. I’ll definitely be visiting again! If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant!!”

But..the smell is hard to deal with. It smells like an old musty back bedroom in grandmas house. And the bathroom smells like rotten piss. As constructive criticism…please fix this.

My husband had a burger that had ham , cheese, onion rings, bacon stacked on it.. it was over 4 -5 in high.. difficult to eat but good. * I really dislike when ppl give ratings of 1 or 2 ‘based on an issue such as valet, or club colors ’. Not food/service. Doesn’t seem fair. I can see why they use valet, the parking lot has ruts that rainwater accumulates in, ppl would get wet getting in or out of their cars.”

“Never been to a Starbicks before but wanted to try something new. Ive always got the Caramel frappucinos from McDonalds. But today I ordered the Starbucks Caramel Ribbon Crunch frappacino. And Zinnia the server was amazing. She was patient with me while I asked questions. And then when I got to the window, I had a mishap, but she helped me out. So I got to try the frappacino even when my internet unexpectedly came out of my account. Now, I will never see McDonalds Frappacinos the same. The Starbucks one, though kinda expensive, is so worth it. So all in all, the drink. Amazing. The store. Amazing. And Zinnia? Absolutely superb!! Thanks for a wonderful first experience.”
