“Really great experience eating at Las Patronas on a Tuesday evening! Danielle was our server and expertly guided us through the specialties. The chips and salsa are homemade and had a unique delicate flavor. We had the homemade guacamole which was fresh and better than any we’ve had at the chain restaurants. The Las Patronas specialty was like fajitas with melted cheese and a mix of meats - again unique and superb! My wife had a margarita that was homemade and without the chemical taste of a mix that she said was one of the best she’s ever had, thanks Danielle!It is located in the corner of a strip mall and is hard to see at night, but I’m really glad we kept looking (thanks Google maps). “I cannot recommend Jimmy Hula's highly enough! It's primarily burgers and tacos, but far from your typical burgers and taco place. Everything has sort of an island-y theme, from the decor to the food. For example, my go-to is the luau taco, which has teriyaki chicken and pineapple-mango pico. The flavors are absolutely incredible, and the pineapple-mango pico is so good that I usually get a large side of it to-go afterwards. Not gonna lie, these are my favorite tacos in the world. Everything is pretty much customizable. The tacos are sold as singles, so you can mix and match the type and amount to fit your hunger level and so you can try a variety. You can also choose your protein. The burgers can also be made as either single or double. The atmosphere is super relaxed and casual, as you'd expect with the island theme, and the staff are always really nice. Jimmy Hula was one of my most frequent choices when I lived in central Florida; now, it's one of the places I absolutely have to stop at whenever I'm in town. Do yourself a favor and try Jimmy Hula“
“Seen the place many times driving by, so i decided to give them a try one day...called in the order and waited about 15 mins, arrived shortly thereafter, had to wait a few more mins before it was ready...the to go container was piping hot, even when i got home...everything is made to order so practice patience people...Everything was delicious, wings were still very warm when i got home, seasoned very nicely, the shrimp had an interesting coating i think it had cornmeal mixed in, still delicious!! I forgot to ask for ranch for dipping but she included some of her "secret" sauce...it was not good, no idea what it was made with...overall a great experience with this place, will definitely be back to try something else on the menu...CHEERS!!“
