“Rih, is the best server i’ve ever had. She catered to not only us but our child as well. Even cleaned his bottle he dropped. You don’t get above and beyond service like that anymore. “Since I live in Ponce Inlet, I've been to Down the Hatch many times and have always found their seafood to be so fresh all the time. This time I had my sons visiting me from St. Louis, they wanted to eat at the best restaurant for seafood, and of course, we went right here and it didn't disappoint. They especially loved the shecrab soup with the sherry on the side. It was scrumptious. Their dinners were wonderful, as well as the desserts. Needless to say, we went home with plenty of leftovers. Steve, the server was great. All in all, it was a perfect night. So whether you live nearby or on vacation, make it a point to dine there.“

“We had a lovely dinner here for the first time recently. We'll definitely return. Best Moscow mule I've had in a long time. My salad was so fresh and my husband enjoyed his steak dinner as well. It was prepared well but he wished they had a top sirloin steak on offer. He'll try the steak frites next time. “I am so happy that this restaurant has vegan options! Plus they fixed my dish without oil. I should've asked for no salt, too, because I found my dish too heavily seasoned with something that they said wasn't salt but it sure tasted that way. Enjoyed that yummy green juice and ate the tofu and gluten-free avocado toast and sent back the potatoes for a fresh order, no seasoning. Perfect! They were happy to accommodate. “My husband and I decided to stop in for breakfast yesterday morning. They were busy, but we were seated right away by a polite hostess. Pam was our waitressand she was wonderful. She recommended the BEC breakfast (with cheesy grits) and it was perfect. The sandwich was delicious and my first time for the cheesy grits and they were very yummy with a layer of melted and browned cheese on top. We have been planning to visit the Bakers Table for a few years now , but never really had time. Today that was remedied.

We truly enjoyed each dish we ordered for lunch/brunch !!

Every dish had its own unique flair with fresh ingredients and nothing was over done or over seasoned.

Shrimp and grits - my favorite ever.
New England clam chowder - perfect.
Shaved prime rib sandwich - fresh and amazing.

Pastries - delicious
Cappuccino- delightful

Aaron - our server was amazing and perfectly attentive with great knowledge of every dish. Our water glass was never empty.

We will definitely return here at our next opportunity.“
