“As airport restaurants go, this one is pretty good, and gets decent business. Ate there twice, both times had a Reuben. It was good, but did not reflect any real care, just slapped together and served. Service was pretty good, and almost everyone eats outside which provides a nice atmosphere.“

John and his staff were extremely attentive to our needs and requests during the planning, the implementation and execution of the party. The food display was magnificent. The service was superb and the attention to detail was on point. This location is the perfect spots for locals to host events!“

“Good service and good burgers at an affordable price. You can find less expensive but you are definitely not going to get the quality you get here. They also have options for salads, chicken, and of course you can get dessert with several options for shake and custard. If you want a quality meal at a family friendly price this is a good place to keep on your list of options.“

“We tried this local restaurant today for the first time. The food was terrific, cooked perfectly. The “fish camp fixings” was a nice addition. Our server was friendly and efficient. We dined outside to enjoy the beautiful day. The children’s playground out there seemed out of place. It took away from the esthetics of the place and the whole dining experience.“

“My wife and I had an early dinner at Boondocks in Port Orange. The drinks and food were great. The only thing better was the service. If a server passed your table, with a smile they asked how everything was and did you need anything. Best staff attitude I have seen in a long time. Cudos to the Staff and mgt. Of Boondocks Port Orange. A must go.“

“My server was wonderful—attentive, friendly, and checked in on my son and me throughout our visit. The food was also excellent.

Unfortunately, our experience was negatively impacted by the host. She seemed disengaged and neglected customers, including us. Despite seeing us arrive and calling her over, she continued cleaning tables without acknowledging us. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 15 years, and this behavior is not acceptable for a host. She didn’t smile or interact appropriately with any guests, and I observed her treating multiple customers the same way. At one point, she even yelled across the restaurant to an elderly customer instead of approaching them politely.

I mentioned the issue to my server, and the host overheard and finally adjusted her behavior—but this shouldn’t have been necessary.

While the server and food made for a good experience, the host’s attitude really needs improvement. I hope management addresses this so future guests can have the welcoming experience they deserve.

“Best conch fritters ever! Fied shrimp are also great. Large butterfly style. Atmosphere is great watching the boats go by,especially on weekends and occasionally dolphin seen feeding.“

“Seriously, the best chinese takeout! Always fresh, never greasy or upsetting to the stomach. The only takeout I can eat and feel better after, not worse! They have been closed for a family emergency and there are many of us who are just going crazy to eat there again. Sending blessings and well wishes to the owners during this difficult time.“

“We had the most excellent waitress i have ever had out of all restaurants I've been to. The food was great. There was 8 in our party and everyone enjoyed their food . It was a birthday lunch and even the chef came out with a surprise and sang happy birthday with all of us. Would definitely recommend this place and will go again. Great exp.“
