“I found out that the Orange Social Club restaurant was moving in when I visited the old Woody's that previously occupied the space in the strip mall directly behind Applebee's off Enterprise Blvd in Orange City, Florida. It is a scratch kitchen, which means they prepare each dish once it is ordered and don't mass produce and store meals. This effort takes a bit longer than some other restaurants that have precooked portions and rush it out. The short delays are worth the wait in my opinion. They offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and a Sunday brunch. The owners (Natish and Jay) both have previous restaurant/bar experience with high-end establishments and their knowledge and skills are evident in the menu selections and preparation. Both gentlemen are from India and have added a couple Indian dishes to the menu. Having been to that country twice, I am a huge fan of the cuisine. Luckily, they offer one of my favorites ...an excellently prepared butter chicken. Other than that, their burgers are one of the best that I have found in the Deland vicinity. I love this place and the service I receive. I typically eat there at least once or twice a week. Unfortunately, they have experienced a few hiccups since opening because of problems getting city approval of their signage. I heard this week that they have finally gotten that so signage will be up soon. I highly recommend a visit to experience the menu and service yourself.“

Sleepy little gem in Sanford serving elevated takes on Southern favorites. Came for a late dinner (9 p.m.) and ordered our way through small plates tapas style. Every single thing was lovingly and expertly prepared. One incredible standout was the Tomato Mac. When it was brought to the table, I thought it looked like it would be a little bland and watery, but OMG, the flavors and texture in this dish were incredible - a sweet and savory delight. Another standout was the chicken liver mousse. Chef's kiss! Also worked our way through hoecakes and the sticky ribs - the meat of which just fell off the bone. They were expertly trimmed and the Asian inspired glaze was to die for. Also sampled the cheddar jalapeno biscuits and the mushroom angolotti - all delicious. For dessert (all made in house), the cornmeal pie was to die for. Also had the smoked salted caramel ice cream, which was quite unique and inventive, as were the biscuits and chocolate "gravy."Even though the staff and kitchen were surely ready to wind down close to closing, we received excellent and gracious service and everything continued to be executed with great care and skill.I will definitely be sure to visit much more often! Our most recent stop was on Thursday and our server was Chris. The bar has been set high in the past, but Chris was exceptional. He chatted a little, checked in with us regularly, and was always working. Without exception, just when we would think we were ready for something, he was magically right there on the spot. Reserve a table days in advance on the weekends or you may not be able to visit this gem.Parking: The City has a free parking lot a block from the spot but its gets pretty congested during the weekends. The on-street parking is free but difficult to come by at peak hours.“

Flavorful broth, very soft, thinly sliced onion, nice baguette and a nicely broiled cheesy top!Edit: Came back the next day for brunch and had a delicious plate of eggs Benedict w/ a side of breakfast potatoes. Would have been nice if the benny came with a side instead of having to pay 5 extra bucks for home fries, but at least they were excellent! The waitress greeted my party as soon as we arrived and told us that she was the only one present at the moment. She was very attentive despite the busy time. The chef came out to help her as well. “This was our first time here and wont be our last. Everyone we met from the owners to the chef were kind and friendly. The food was very good. I had a half order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was light and fluffy and the gravy tasted homemade. We had a spicy Bloody Mary to drink and it was good (they use Zing Zang which is our fave). The place is small so I can see where you might go and there is “no room at the inn” but definitely worth a visit! We will go again!“

“This was a great place to have lunch. The inside if very low-key casual dining, but the food was a step above that. We arrived on a weekday around noon and despite Sanford being unusually busy that afternoon, the restaurant was not really all that crowded, we were seated immediately. While her i ordered a Chicago Beef sandwich and it arrived fairly promptly. Notably, the sandwich was sizable. It was stuffed with chunks of beef and mushrooms topped with a layer of cheese. The sandwich was flavorful when I bit into it. Great tasking sandwich! The dish came with potato chips standard, but I opted to upgrade to Onion rings as a side - which was a great choice! The portion was large and there was no room for dessert - although I will admit that the desserts in the neighboring cold case looked quite appealing. There is both inside and outdoor seating at the restaurant. Sanford is usually fairly easy to find a parking spot if you are willing to walk a block or so from a public lot - which is really worth it because this area of Sanford is really cool to look around. This area also has a lot of street side parking which is usually occupied in my experience,Overall a great experience and I suspect I'll be here again!“

We parked in their large parking lot and walked right in. It doesn't look like much from the front, but when you enter, there's a lot going in. It's definitely a hole-in-the-wall sports bar. Different games were playing in the TVs and the decor is very authentic. It will remind you of your Uncle's house who used to play professional sports back in the day.
