“Highly recommend for family gatherings! We just had our Baby Shower in their event space & we had an amazing time. All the staff was super friendly, very accommodating and easy to work with & book. The food and drinks were delicious and fast. Our host/waitress was so sweet and fun and great about interacting with everyone at the shower. The kids present were very happy to feed the gators, visit the parrots, and pretty much wander around in between the games. “10/10 across the board. We’ve been here ever week since the start of the summer with our kids for rollerball. District is the only bowling place open for the Kids Bowl Free program after 5pm in our area so it works out perfectly with my work schedule. Rollerball is great for kids of all ages and doesn’t require bowling shoes. We’ve only done the arcade once but the pinball room is our go too. The arcade isn’t big but we honestly love the size because we are able to keep an eye on our littles and there’s a little something for everyone. The food has always hit, and is very reasonably priced in my opinion. It’s your traditional bowling alley food mixed with a variety of american options (think chilis). The portions are great in my opinion as well! The bathrooms are always clean when we have been there which is a huge plus.

What really makes district a 10 out of 10 is the people.

Every time we have come Nathaniel at the counter has always been great and always gets us set up on lanes with no issue, he showed me how to use the app to redeem our coupons our first time there, and even remembered how many kids we usually have.

Nadia the manager always gives the best suggestions for both drinks and food, she’s awesome and kind, and always goes above and beyond. She is always on the floor keeping things going, whether it be at the bar, bringing over food, or handling parties, she does it all!

The bar staff is the icing on the cake. Amber, Hayden and Shane have always provided top tier service, they make the best drinks, and have never missed the mark. I love chatting with them and they are always willing to help when needed.

“We had not been to Steak 'n Shake since before the kiosks. I almost didn't go this time but I wanted to try the tallow fries. This restaurant is extremely clean and fast. I was using the kiosk when an employee asked if we needed help. To save time I said yes and I ordered a steakburger with cheese and shoestring fries. My husband ordered the Chili 5 way. Both are meals we used to get as regulars when there was full service inside. The only problem is I have no idea what else was on the menu. I used to get a salad with my burger. Do they still have that? Are there any combo meals that include shakes? Without a menu to sit and look over, I have no idea. I asked about breakfast food and was told they no longer have that.
To the CEO of Biglari--please continue with your grass fed beef and tallow fries and very clean restaurants. Have you thought about adding some gluten free meals or buns? Also, we miss the wait staff, breakfast and coupons. But even without that, I will return for the tallow tots and crinkle fries. Having a few menus around in addition to the kiosks would be very helpful. I don't even know your shake flavors or if you have special holiday flavors. Do you ever run the happy hours for shakes anymore? These are reasons we were regulars as well as many other people we know. Please look back at the things that made Steak 'n Shake a success in the past and incorporate those with the newer changes you are now making. As far as the two meals we ordered--5 stars!“

“went in monday evening. myself and my son were 3rd in line. all 3 parties walked in at the same time. we all stood there for 15 mins before be acknowledged. the guy in front of me walked out. the guy behind the counter (dark wavey hair and glasses) would not even make eye contact with any of us or even say we will be right with you. i watch him fill about 7 online orders while we were being ignored by him. after about 15 mins the female manager came out and spoke to us and apologized that they are very under staffed and drowning in online orders. the manager did a great job and made it up to us in line for having to wait so long and refused to tip for me because she said they did not earn it with there service. hats off the this young lady for taking accountability and control of the situation. it's hard to find accountability these days. SEEING a pattern that the owner only responds to positive reviews.“
