“First of all, the owners are so welcoming recommending food according to my hunger. Anyway, I had the bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich and it was delicious one of the best I’ve ever had. “This is the first Kava bar I ever tried and now I’m hooked. The drinks are pretty strong and you get your moneys worth. The vibes are good! For me it was an intimidating atmosphere at first and I would get my drinks and go. Now that I’m a regular here and actually stay and hangout, I’ve gotten to know so many people that I enjoy seeing! As someone who doesn’t drink alcohol, it’s nice to still have a “bar” for socializing. The best part is they have BOGO hours throughout the week, as well as the clover app that helps you earn rewards. So although I choose to spend way too much of my money here, this helps offset it which is great! Just FYI - this is a dog friendly establishment and although most of the dogs are very sweet, some of them are large so if you’re afraid of dogs just a heads up. Last thing - eat before you come because they only have chips and slim Jim’s and you don’t want to drink this stuff on an empty stomach. There are multiple restaurants to walk to in the plaza though, so it works out.“
“We found Third Wave Cafe & Wine Bar on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive Ins and Dives show and we are impressed! The food, the service and the atmosphere is excellent. We started with the Bagna Cauda which is a delicious French baguette served with warm olive oil garlic Confit, aged balsamic vinegar, fresh herbs, Parmigiano Reggiano, fire roasted veggies and anchovies. For our meals, we shared the Creste de Gallo which was a delicious fresh made pasta, broken scallops, Florida rock shrimp, semolina pasta, mushrooms, artichokes, cherry tomatoes, capers, tossed in scampi butter & pecorino. We also shared a Burrantina pizza, hand-crafted Burrata, house mozzarella, Parmigiano Reggiano, Peruvian pepper relish, baby arugula, charred artichoke, basil pesto, tomato, tomato sauce, balsamic glaze EVOO. The food was delicious and we took leftovers home for lunch! Definitely recommend this place if you're in New Smyrna Beach!“

We celebrated our 53rd anniversary and she made our evening special.However, there was one thing to bring to the chef's attention. The presentation of the Baked Cod Florentine was not up to your signature specials. Don't get me wrong. The cod was great! But it was totally smothered between the Florentine and the mashed potatoes. I believe the highlight of this dish should have been the Cod, not the Florentine. By the way, the Pork Tenderloin (or was it center cut) was incredibly tender and tasty.“

I will be back to Island Roasters on my next trip to New Smyrna Beach.“

One of the few restaurants I've ever been too with mac and cheese that had a cheese stretch, it was delicious. The burger I had was well prepared and cooked right. Very tasty food here, I will definitely be coming back for the ribs!Parking: Parking is shared with a dozen other strip mall businesses, may need to park near the movie theater if it's too crowded.“

“I have never eaten here before today. My husband recommended it to me. I missed the lunch rush and was able to get seated and waited on right away. The building looks little from the street view but is actually spacious and long once you get inside. The decorations are warm and sunny with lots of chickens and such. Bright red booths and white walls. Very clean and well kept. Daily lunch specials as well as the regular menu. My food was delicious! Loved the 80's music playing in the background. Audrey was my server and she is just a ball of sunshine with her smile and big blue eyes. Such a sweetheart. I normally can't stand bathrooms in restaurants but I must say the woman's restroom was by far one of the nicest, cleanest and best smelling I have ever been in!
