“We stopped in here today on a whim. The second we walked in, the place was lively and buzzing with energy. We sat down at the bar and quickly realized we’d just joined Josh’s party. Josh wasn’t simply bartending, he was keeping up with regulars, making new connections with first time guest, and pouring great beer all the while. During his busy shift, he made time to ask us questions and genuinely get to know us. Hospitality like this, where you walk into an establishment and feel like you became part of a community, is hard to come by these days, but that’s exactly what Central 28 offers. And that’s largely because Josh is behind the bar. I live 30 minutes away and would happily make the trek over and over to experience the vibe in this place. Can’t wait for our next visit!“

“This was my first visit to Pisco and it was an absolute delight. When my wife and I entered the restaurant, we greeted with a warm smile and promptly seated. Our server was Yanet and she was amazing. She asked if it was first time and since it was, she explained the items on the menu. She also shared her favorite dishes. After having appetizers, we were given fresh cutlery for the main course. The food itself was a gastric experience of new flavors. Everything was delicious. My wife will be back and I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“The Vineyard Wine Company is a great spot for brunch. The food is fresh, high quality, and you can really tell it’s a farm-to-table, scratch kitchen. Everything we had was delicious.

As someone with a gluten allergy, I really appreciate how clearly marked the gluten-free options are—it makes ordering easy and stress-free. The atmosphere is also great and makes it a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal.

Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

“This is my favorite place in Sanford. The owners have created an incredible space for community that welcomes all. They have a weekly run club, trivia, game night, and yoga. They also have other weekly occurring clubs as well as events like book swaps, craft clubs, plant swaps. They host regular art shows with themes displaying local artists. It also helps that the beer is delicious. They always have a cider, Selzer and at least one sour option. They have kombuchas and also have non alcoholic options in the cold case. They have juice and soda as well. They an area with toys for children and a lot of regulars have young children and come with their families.“

This place has been around for as long as I've lived here (decades) and they do one thing and they do it exceptionally. It was my hubby's birthday and the server brought out beignets and sang happy birthday! That was nice.

Big complaint...the overall service dampened the whole dining experience. No silverware on the table, so the food came and we had to wait to dig in. Had to get up to request a knife and then ask a couple of times for sauce. The server was not friendly and attitude lackluster.

Service is a huge part of the dining experience, if the food wasn't excellent I would have taken off 4 stars. I'll pass on future dine in but will potentially order to go. The food was some of the best Cajun I've had in years!“

“We have been customers of Carrabba’s for over 25 years, but unfortunately, the lasagna at the Sanford location has changed. Our recent order arrived with almost no pasta, mostly cheese and sauce. The manager kindly replaced it and offered a discount, which we appreciated, but the second lasagna still only had one layer of pasta. This is not about compensation — it’s about consistency and quality. We hope Carrabba’s brings back the lasagna quality we have enjoyed for many years.“
