“Delanie is absolutely wonderful. All the staff is so nice every time I come in, but Delanie and I had a great conversation while she prepared my food. My team from work often gets lunch here because we love the food and the people are always so nice. It’s one of our go-to food spots. Please share my praise with Delanie! She is great!“
“This was my first experience at a juice bar, and my first ever açaí bowl ever (I enjoyed the fresh fruit flavors but detected an aftertaste, perhaps a sweetener or protein powder?). The gentleman working there was very helpful in offering suggestions. The prices were a bit high for my expectations, but the portion was plenty.“
“If you are looking for seafood. Stop right here and look no further!! This is the spot!! My wife bought me a dozen of blue crabs and it was the highlight of my Father’s Day!! Large crabs and huge portion size and seasoning was on point. They have a new customer! Thank you“
“Overall the venue is very nice and the food all looked well priced and easily choosable. However, I wish there were more low top tables inside so that I could feed my baby. The few low tops that were inside were all taken and since it was raining outside (where a majority of the low top tables are located), we didn’t have a choice of low top table. We were not able to order food, sit and eat.We will be back to actually try the food but hope the venue considers swapping a few more of the high top tables across the space for low top tables so people with babies or a handicap can easily find a place to sit and eat.Because I was not able to try the food, my stars are strictly on atmosphere and pricing for now. I will update in the future.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options.Wheelchair accessibility: Building is wheelchair accessible but may need more low top tables.“
“Quaint little bar located in downtown Sanford. I've always enjoyed the laidback and friendly atmosphere here. They're got a good beer selection brewed in house. There's an outdoor area with tables and benches where you can let the kids roam about. Good little place to kick back and enjoy your self.“
“Cool brewery in the heart of downtown Sanford. Great vibe, and if you like sours be sure to try their Sourmanjaro, a coffee blonde sour that is top tier for sure. Great staff as well always ready to pour you their latest brews. Definitely a worthwhile spot when you are in downtown Sanford.“
“Thank you for making an ice cream I can enjoy! So many non-dairy ice creams try to be good, but they fall way short, especially now comparing them to yours. Your coconut milk ice cream is everything I've been missing. It has a creamy texture, no weird after taste, and you have flavors other than fruit. I had the brown sugar espresso ice cream in the black chia waffle cone with crumbled Oreos. It tasted like my favorite coffee shop drink. The cone was amazing - so much more than just a vessel for the ice cream. It was an experience on its own. You can taste the chia seeds and it held strong the whole time I was eating my ice cream. I didn't get pictures but my husband got the coconut ash ice cream with an ube brownie. YUM!!! I saw somewhere they have ice cream cakes. The family has been given my birthday expectations ?“
“On a recent visit with our adventure club, which included a food and beer exploration with Sanford Food Tours, we had the pleasure of visiting several hot spots across Downtown Sanford. However, among all the flavors and experiences, including some gems like Hollerbach and Buster's, the one gem that really stood out unanimously as our favorite was Dees Bros. This family-operated brewery and eatery is run by two brothers who craft their own beer while one of their wives brings authentic family recipes to life. They provided us with an unforgettable dining experience filled with samples of some great dishes as well as their signature Cotswolds Ale. The warmth and dedication of the family not only shines through in their interactions but also in every dish and brew they offer. Our samples at Dees Bros included their Hot Ham & Sliders, Grandma's Swedish Meatballs, Spent Grain Pretzel with Gooey Beer Cheese Dip, and the amazingly refreshing Swedish Cucumbers. Each dish was a masterpiece of traditional and family-inspired cooking. It was so good we went back for more after our tour was over! Our beer selections, the Cotswolds Ale and the Aquadnauts, complemented the meal beautifully. The Cotswolds Ale, an English Amber Ale, was praised by our group for its easy-drinking nature and versatility with the diverse flavors of our dishes. But for me it was the Aquadnauts, a Belgian Quad, that stole the show. I would describe it as one of the best Belgian Quads I've ever had; its complex flavors and smooth finish made it a memorable part of my visit. We'll definitely be going back whenever we make it back to Sanford.Overall, our visit to Dees Bros was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of heartfelt hospitality, exquisite home-cooked meals, and finely crafted beers created an experience that not only satisfied our taste buds but warmed our hearts. It's a testament to the passion and dedication that the family pours into every aspect of their establishment. For anyone looking for an authentic, memorable experience, Dees Bros comes highly recommended by our entire group.“
“Absolutely love this place! They have a coffee or tea for everyone. If you don't know much about coffee or tea, just ask Jackie or Juan!!! If you're feeling under the weather, they have an amazing Hibiscus and Ginger tea that makes you feel 100% in no time. If you love PUMPKIN SEASON as much as we do, don't walk...RUN to the THE COLLECTIVE!!!!“
“The most quaint and lovely atmosphere. Service was on Point and the food so fresh Ru was our waitress and she was super sweet. Friendly and professional. We will be returning.Parking: Parking is In the back and to one side. We misses it and had to go around the block.“
“What a pleasurable experience! First as smoker I appreciate the fact that you are allowed to smoke on the outside. I had the shrimp and grits it was AMAZING. You had choice of sides but very limited and nothing that really went with the shrimp and grits so I got fries. The wait staff was really nice. I would totally return again. Oh and they have proper pint size glasses unlike “The Station”Kid-friendliness: I see kids here but no kid menu that I could tellWheelchair accessibility: Level with sidewalk“
“SBC is our go-to stop for lunch and a growler refill when we fly into Sanford; we've come to expect really good food and service which is what keeps us coming back. Our most recent stop was on Thursday and our server was Chris. The bar has been set high in the past, but Chris was exceptional. He chatted a little, checked in with us regularly, and was always working. Without exception, just when we would think we were ready for something, he was magically right there on the spot. Very impressive and worth noting. We had the pretzel bites and grilled mahi sandwich. Food was really good as usual, but the service was especially worthy of a shoutout.“
“Only place in Downtown Sanford where you can get fresh juice and superfoods. Their wraps are also fire, literally the only place with fast, fresh, healthy food like this in the area. This place is an underrated gem in and was a well needed contrast to the sanford restaurant scene.“
“Just a 10 out of 10 place. If you are in the area stop by for a pretzel. You won’t be disappointed. Just know for people that are sensitive. They do have a live band that plays German music every so often. I loved it, but I can understand how some people can be overstimulated. This is a 10 out of 10 place, this is the star of Sanford“
