“Lunch at The Glass Knife in Winter Park is always a reminder of why this café has such a loyal following. It’s one of those rare spots where the atmosphere, service, and food all come together in a way that feels both polished and personal. The moment you walk in, you’re met with that warm bakery aroma fresh pastries, butter, sugar, and espresso setting the tone before you even order.

Over time, I’ve tried a little bit of everything here, and The Glass Knife has never missed. Their croissants are legitimately some of the best in Central Florida: flaky on the outside, soft and buttery inside, with that perfect pull when you tear into them. The homemade Pop-Tarts are another favorite... thick, crumbly, filled generously, and nothing like the boxed version we grew up with. They rotate flavors often, so there’s usually something new to look forward to.

Their daily baked donuts also deserve a shoutout. Each one tastes fresh, not overly sweet, and thoughtfully made. They’re the kind of donuts you can tell someone actually cared about while making them. Whether it's a classic flavor or one of their seasonal creations, it’s always worth grabbing one.

Lunch is equally impressive. The sandwiches and salads feel elevated without being overly fancy, and the portions are satisfying. Pairing a lunch item with a pastry or dessert on the side feels natural here... like that’s exactly how the menu is meant to be enjoyed.

What really seals the experience is the ambiance. The Glass Knife is bright, comfortable, and classy without trying too hard. It’s a great place to meet a friend, get some work done, or just sit and enjoy something sweet.

Overall, The Glass Knife continues to be one of my go-to Winter Park spots. Consistent, delicious, and always worth a stop.“

“Just called Rivers Lakeland to place a pick up order. Man answered the phone. Stated they don't take orders by phone have to do online. Told him I tried that wouldn't work. Said that's how they do take out. I've been going to 4 Rivers for years. Was ordering for six people over $100. Told him I'll find some place else to order from. Won't be back.“

“We came here because of the positive celiac safe ratings and we’re not disappointed! The outside is very deceiving because it is small and not fancy but inside is quaint and minimalist but cute. They serve only bowls but the options are extensive. They are very well versed in food allergies and sensitivities, which was a relief as we have a family member with celiac disease and unable to eat dairy and soy as well. The cashier checked with the chef several times to ensure the ingredients met their restrictions and assured us that all precautions would be used to avoid cross contamination (separate prep area, glove change, etc). The portions were huge and they were delicious! The Korean fried chicken was good but very sweet, so be aware of that. The beef was so good! Cooked perfectly and very flavorful! Beware that parking is very challenging as they share a tiny lot with a cross fit and other businesses. We got lucky to get the only handicapped spot for my mom otherwise there was no parking. Definitely recommend to come here and we’ll be back to try more options!“

“Had an amazing visit with friends to this steakhouse for happy hour. They have martinis, manhattans, old fashionends and lemon drops for only $10. They also have many wine specials for $10 per glass. They have an extensive speciality cocktail menu to choose from as well as the happy hour specials. I highly recommend trying the mango infused cube drink. When we walked in we were immediately greeted with kindness and impressed by the beautiful interior. Our bartender Rob was fantastic, professional and knowledgeable. His female partner bartender was great too! The general manager also came out to check out on us and was very kind and gave us a tour and sent out some food items to try. We loved the steak sliders and the pork belly. The French fries were hand cut, crispy and delicious. The lobster deviled eggs were good, but could use a bit more seasoning. The steakhouse burger was huge and packed with flavor. The grilled oysters were yummy as well. They also have a private room available. They have amazing dessert. I recommend the chocolate cake and crème brûlée. Great service, great food and a great time. I recommend and will return.“

The food was amazing! My friend ordered the Nutella waffle and couldn’t stop raving about it. It looked just as good as it tasted. I had the house salad and the truffle burger, and I’m still thinking about it… absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and came out perfectly.

The atmosphere was also perfect for brunch, relaxed, welcoming, and great for spending time with friends and family. This is definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to!“

Coffee options are very limited and what’s there is not great. The pastries though, YES YES YES. The guava and cheese danish was out of this world, and so was the honey apple goat cheese pastry. Would come back for pastries any time!

“My favorite for years. Very upbeat vibe! This is why I entertain multiple decades at The Porch. Always friendly, great food, and awesome atmosphere.“

“The service was great and the sitting area was nice and cafe style. The coffee here the best so far that we have found in the city; still on the hunt.

The Acai bowl was smaller than what I noticed in the photos; the Acai is just a bit too watery and I recommend putting the Nutella on top as it was too rock hard between the cold Acai and granola.

Caribbean arepa was the nicest dish, followed by the pesto chicken pressed sub.

Don’t recommend the chicken and avocado arepa as it tastes like canned tuna and avocado.

Salads with were as expected with no dressing.

Overall was a good experience, average to above average with criticisms on serving the food a bit faster once made as the cheese had hardened a bit and using cups that aren’t chipped/ cracked.“

The secret rub fries should honestly be world famous, the smash burgers are cooked to perfection, and the beer cheese might genuinely be my favorite thing on earth. Every bite tastes like comfort food perfection and you can tell this place puts love into everything they make. But what truly makes this place special is the people — especially London. She is, without a doubt, one of the sweetest and most incredible hostesses we’ve ever met anywhere. It had been OVER FOUR MONTHS since our last visit, and somehow she still remembered our names the second we walked in. That level of kindness and care is so rare these days, and it honestly blew us away. London deserves all the praise in the world and seriously deserves a raise. She makes people feel welcomed, appreciated, and at home the moment they walk through the door. Cow & Cheese is incredibly lucky to have someone like her representing their business because she is truly one of a kind. For the most part every time I go in it’s always the same hard working woman in the kitchen and running it all by herself. Portions are always all generous. Get the combo platter. Best bang for your buck. I highly recommend the bourbon chicken and the general Tso’s!“

We had a wonderful experience with 4 Rivers Smokehouse and our catering consultant, Sarah. When our guest count changed from 120 to 100, Sarah responded quickly with an updated quote and was incredibly timely, friendly, and accommodating throughout the entire process. She made everything easy and stress-free.

The food was absolutely amazing! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the brisket, mac & cheese, baked beans, and the farmhouse salad. The dessert bar with a variety of treats was also a huge hit and the perfect sweet ending to the meal.

Highly recommend 4 Rivers and Sarah for anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service for their event!“

“I had the vegan brekkie sandwich with potato wedges and it was delicious. Whatever the kale was dressed with was fantastic, the bun was great, and the whole thing stayed together well. The potato wedges had a great (but heavy) seasoning on them and I don’t believe were deep fried (weren’t crispy) which is a plus. The also offered 2-3 pastry/sweets type options to go with your coffee! A bit pricey, but if you’re looking for a treat I recommend. Updated from previous review on 2026-03-04“
