“We had a wonderful dinner at Maxine's on Shine during Magical Dining. Our server, Mara, was attentive and friendly from start to finish. Maxine and Mr. Maxine also stopped by our table to chat, and that personal touch made the evening feel special.

The Passion Star cocktail had a memorable presentation, and it wasn't watered down with ice like so many restaurant drinks are. It tasted the way it should from the first sip to the last.

For appetizers, we shared the nachos and the Smoked Salmon & Avocado Cream with naan toast and mixed greens. Both were fresh and flavorful. For my main course I had the Wagyu Filet of Sirloin Au Poivre, and it was tender and perfectly seasoned, with a peppercorn sauce I'd order again. My dining companion had the lobster ravioli with shrimp and loved every bite. We finished with the red velvet cheesecake and the chocolate mousse, both a great ending.

“My wife and were anxiously waiting for this restaurant to open. We went this Friday (May 5th) and were not disappointed. First, the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The ambient music was at a perfect level with a definite South Beach feel. We interacted with several servers and each of them provided excellent service. The menu has enough diversity to satisfy anyone's tastes. To start, we had an appetizer that consisted of scallops covers in parmesan cheese that was melted at the table with a torch. For our entrees, I had a beef dish (Lomo Saltado), while my wife had a pork dish (Arroz chaufa with pork). Everything was delicious. They have quite a few specialty drinks in their cocktail menu. We each had a different drink and both were very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Piscos and look forward to going back.“

Chicken al pastor: smoky flavor and great pineapple too. The sauce was amazing.

Order the hot sauce there on the side. Great flavor and spice that wont burn your pallette.

“Visited during Sunday Brunch and LOVED it! Food and service was OUTSTANDING! Manager Nate welcomed us like family and Kayla our server was also amazing! They both gave us great recommendations and were spot on! The endless shrimp, sirloin and crab legs, plus a Pasta Bar and small plates make the brunch a great deal!! “We already love Shin Jung, but, sadly, we aren’t there as often as I’d like. The food is fantastic, atmosphere is casual but comfortable and the service is friendly and efficient. I had the Dolsot Bibimbab served in a steaming, sizzling hot pot—beef, mushrooms, sprouts, cucumbers and shredded g carrots and radish. It was delicious on its own but adding the table sauces made it sing. Along with entrees comes a variety of Korean sides as is typical for this cuisine. It included, fish cakes, potato salad, paper thin sliced pickled radish and three Kimchi preparations—classic cabbage, as well as cubes of cucumber and radish. If the food wasn’t enough, our server, Julianna, made our lunch all the more pleasurable with her sweet demeanor and friendly nature. And it wasn’t just us. We watched how she served other diners with the same affable, yet professional treatment. Remember when I said we don’t get there very often? Well, when we walked in, Julianna (without knowing us at all) greeted us like we were regulars coming in for the hundredth time. “We had such a great experience at The Monroe. This place honestly deserves the hype. The food overall was excellent. Nothing we had was bad, but some dishes definitely stood out more than others. The jalapeño popper deviled eggs were insane and easily my favorite. The General Tso cauliflower was perfectly crispy and flavorful and ended up being my husband’s favorite. The fried chicken is huge and comes with what feels like four sides, so it’s more than enough to share. I’m very picky about mac and cheese and theirs was genuinely impressive. The bread pudding was unreal, it comes out like a crispy brick on the outside and soft and gooey inside. Drinks were great too. The Flamingo drink was really good, and their iced lattes were surprisingly amazing, not just good for a restaurant but actually good. If I had to be picky, the s’mores and the warm potato salad were just okay compared to everything else. Service really made the experience. Our server Sarah was so bubbly and kind, and her recommendations were mostly spot on. We also had a situation where a child tried getting into our car. We mentioned it casually and didn’t expect anything to come of it, but she immediately took it seriously, got the manager, and he went out right away to handle it. That level of awareness made us feel taken care of and able to actually relax and enjoy the rest of our night. The pricing was honestly kind of shocking in a good way. We ordered three appetizers, a large entrée, two alcoholic drinks, two coffees, and dessert and it was right around $100. Overall, great food, great service, great pricing. A couple things I wouldn’t reorder, but the things that were good were really good. We’ll definitely be back.“

“So I was in the area for a meeting and it went late and so I had to grab a sandwich around 3 o’clock so I googled where I was and this came up on the map. I accidentally drove by it once and had to go around the block again. It was such a cute location and when I parked, there was people coming out and they were raving about the sandwiches and it was their first time too, and they said you definitely have to go inside, and I’m so glad that I did.
