Delaney's Tavern is a hidden gem with reasonable prices, located in the South of Downtown area. The modern contemporary atmosphere and outstanding service make it a must-visit spot. The Blue Crab Beignets appetizer lacked flavor but the horseradish aioli and apple slices added a nice touch. The Smoked Brisket Tacos were unique with roasted peppers, and the Squid Ink Shrimp Linguine had huge scallops and shrimp in a creamy orange sauce. The Hummingbird cake dessert was a highlight. The restaurant offers a nice selection of appetizers, soups, salads, and entrees, with big and delicious servings. The filet mignon and lobster bisque were particularly enjoyed.
