“Yummy food and margaritas!”

“Papa Llama, 2840 Curry Ford Road, Orlando- 4-Stars Michelin Recommended- Bib Gourmand! Peruvian immigrants, Kevin and Maria Ruiz, say they founded Papa Llama in 2016 as an experimental pop up and opened the doors of this location in August 2020. In 2022, they earned the Michelin Guide's coveted "Bib Gourmand" award for establishments that serve good food at reasonable prices so naturally, I got excited. Paulina, my server, was well prepared and knowledgeable, making for an auspicious beginning in a gorgeous environment featuring good prices for dishes that could be made to satisfy both carnivores and herbivores alike. I ordered the entire family style menu which was, according to Papa Llama, "designed to be tasted together, shared, and fought over." So much food for just over a hundred dollars. The prices may have been cheap but the taste and quality of (most) victuals valieron un Perú! A hearty Big Boy Thank You (Sulpayki!) to Kevin and Maria and the culinary dactylograms of their ancestors, on this amazing cuisine (Somaq Mihuna!). The first item on the menu was Olives--whole green Castelvetrano olives marinated in house with aji panca--which were so delectable I could eat them all day. Next, the Red + Gold Beets, a minty beet salad with honey ají amarillo vinaigrette, queso fresco, and candied pistachio, which started out smooth and creamy and ended with a pleasantly piquant bite. Papas a la Huancaína followed, a fingerling potato dish with spicy aji amarillo cream, wakatay (black mint) salsa verde, and beef chicharron, topped with a fried egg. The potatoes themselves were not the star, but the combination of flavors in the sauce were amazing, unctuous but smooth. Papa Llama carries a long list of natural wines, more wines than food items, actually. That evening, I chose the Yuzu Sake, and may I say, "Holy smokes!" How refreshing after consuming so many peppers. The rest of the dishes I would give 4.5 to 5-Stars, EXCEPT for the side of frozen Sysco French fries which almost ruined an otherwise stellar meal. There are over 300 kinds of potatoes in Peru. Over 300! Perhaps in the United States we don't have the same abundance as found in El Valle Sagrado (the Sacred Valley) but, por favor, do not stoop to this! The Big Boy says, "Eat here. All the authentic Peruvian flavors at Papa Llama are 5-Star, but skip the fries, which are a corporate conglomerate frozen food disappointment."”

“We went her for my daughter's graduation night from UCF. It was a 10 pm reservation. The menu has excellent selection. We tried many items and all were delicious. The service was great and so was the atmosphere. It was a little cold in the restaurant, but maybe that's to keep the sushi chill. We loved it and will visit again.”

“Amazing is the only one word that comes to our minds. The restaurant itself is very modern looking but has that touch of Thai to make us feel at home. And the star of the show besides the great cooks was Pen! She was so awesome and sensor from her greeting at the door to her interactions with my two daughters. Who just thought she was so nice and Awesome. The appearance of the food was amazing when it arrived at our table and the taste was even more amazing. “It was our first time visiting for magical dining. We actually arrived an hour earlier than our scheduled reservation and they seated us immediately. The atmosphere was amazing and the service was superb! Katrina, our server provided detailed explanations of the menu and gave great recommendations. Even before we entered, Peter, the valet, welcomed us like we were old friends. He recommended Ana’s Cosmo, which was divine. The meal came in “waves” and each wave seemed interchangeable and complemented the previous one. We wanted for nothing the entire evening. Christopher, the general manager, was attentive and made us feel at home. Overall, it was a lovely evening and we will definitely return—only next time we will book a room at the Wave Hotel and make it a proper staycation.”

I wish they have another location besides just this one. The food, you just cannot go wrong no matter what you get. whether it's fresh or not. and the staff is amazing, they are all on top of everything!!!”

“My wife and were anxiously waiting for this restaurant to open. We went this Friday (May 5th) and were not disappointed. First, the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The ambient music was at a perfect level with a definite South Beach feel. We interacted with several servers and each of them provided excellent service. The menu has enough diversity to satisfy anyone's tastes. To start, we had an appetizer that consisted of scallops covers in parmesan cheese that was melted at the table with a torch. For our entrees, I had a beef dish (Lomo Saltado), while my wife had a pork dish (Arroz chaufa with pork). Everything was delicious. They have quite a few specialty drinks in their cocktail menu. We each had a different drink and both were very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Piscos and look forward to going back.”

“My husband surprised me with dinner at Edo Boy for my birthday, and it ended up being one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Orlando.

We did the Baller Set omakase, and every course felt like a work of art. The quality of the fish was exceptional some of the freshest sushi I’ve ever had and each bite was carefully crafted with flavors that were both creative and perfectly balanced.

One thing I loved was that the experience felt fun and interactive. Instead of a traditional seated omakase, we stood at the sushi counter, which made it feel more casual, social, and engaging. Watching the chefs prepare each course right in front of us added so much to the experience and gave us a chance to appreciate the skill and attention to detail behind every bite.

Some of my favorites were the Toro & Caviar, Salmon Crunch, XO Hamachi, OG Smash, and the incredible seared nigiri. The combination of bluefin tuna, uni, caviar, truffle, and other premium ingredients was absolutely amazing without ever feeling overdone. Every course had its own personality, and somehow each one seemed better than the last.

The atmosphere was intimate, energetic, and unlike anywhere else I’ve been in Orlando. My husband and I found ourselves talking about each course long after we ate it, trying to decide which was our favorite.

If you’re a sushi lover or looking for a unique spot to celebrate a special occasion, Edo Boy is absolutely worth it. Between the incredible fish, creative preparations, and interactive standing omakase experience, it was the perfect birthday dinner.”

“We came rolling into Orlando after a long day of traveling! We were all very hungry for some good pizza! V Pizza did not disappoint us! Our 13 year old granddaughter kept saying it was some of the best pizza she'd ever eaten! As previous owners of a pizza restaurant, we thought our pizzas were pretty amazing! The staff was very friendly and eager to serve us. The restaurant was clean and had very modern decor. We will probably go back before returning home!”

Let me tell you this restaurant there are four staff members back behind the bar who went above and beyond made sure we were taken care of made sure that our food was good. Made sure our drink stayed full and all around. They were actually great to be around. Dairis, Joe, Kaiya, Loraine were the four staff members were behind the bar and I would specifically come back for each and every single one of them. They were that good!!! So do yourself a favor go in just to see any of those four or all four together to see how well they work together because honestly again I would just go back for them alone. And yes, my tomahawk steak was good along with the asparagus and the potatoes. And the four of them made sure of that!!!”

“We had such a great experience at The Monroe. This place honestly deserves the hype. The food overall was excellent. Nothing we had was bad, but some dishes definitely stood out more than others. The jalapeño popper deviled eggs were insane and easily my favorite. The General Tso cauliflower was perfectly crispy and flavorful and ended up being my husband’s favorite. The fried chicken is huge and comes with what feels like four sides, so it’s more than enough to share. I’m very picky about mac and cheese and theirs was genuinely impressive. The bread pudding was unreal, it comes out like a crispy brick on the outside and soft and gooey inside. Drinks were great too. The Flamingo drink was really good, and their iced lattes were surprisingly amazing, not just good for a restaurant but actually good. If I had to be picky, the s’mores and the warm potato salad were just okay compared to everything else. Service really made the experience. Our server Sarah was so bubbly and kind, and her recommendations were mostly spot on. We also had a situation where a child tried getting into our car. We mentioned it casually and didn’t expect anything to come of it, but she immediately took it seriously, got the manager, and he went out right away to handle it. That level of awareness made us feel taken care of and able to actually relax and enjoy the rest of our night. The pricing was honestly kind of shocking in a good way. We ordered three appetizers, a large entrée, two alcoholic drinks, two coffees, and dessert and it was right around $100. Overall, great food, great service, great pricing. A couple things I wouldn’t reorder, but the things that were good were really good. We’ll definitely be back.”

“We dined at Camille last night for Valentine’s Day, and it was truly unforgettable. The 7-course tasting menu was exceptional from start to finish — every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully curated.

My absolute favorite was a dish inspired by pho and French onion soup — wow. It completely blew me away. The depth of flavor, the creativity, the comfort — it’s one of those dishes you never forget. I sincerely hope they add it to the menu so more guests have the chance to experience it.

The staff was incredible — warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The music playlist was also curated to perfection and added so much to the overall ambiance. Shout out to the chef and the entire team for creating such a thoughtful, elevated experience. You can absolutely see why Camille has earned their stars — every single detail is carefully considered, and it’s all so well deserved.

I came here with some colleagues after a conference. It's located in the Ritz Carlton.

It's a fancy place! I believe it's on the Michelin guide. Know that it is pricey. It's a steakhouse and I'm a vegetarian, but the staff was kind and pointed me to dishes that were veggie friendly.

They start with an amuse bouche -- I had some fresh veggies that seemed recently harvested. It came with ranch that felt like it was from a grocery store, but the veggies were good.

The bread course was great -- several options and all good. They have two types of butter as well, including a smoky one that I thought was excellent. The croissant-like bread was really good.

My group didn't order any veggie apps but there weren't many on there besides the salad. That said, they raved about the Caesar salad and the oysters. The salad was especially popular.

For the mains, my friends mostly ordered meat dishes (which is what the place is known for). I ordered a pasta dish. It was okay. I thought it was a bit one dimensional with how strong the citrus flavor was, but it was certainly pretty. The sides we got were delicious, especially the mushrooms.

To close off, they gave us a bit of sorbet (may have been ice cream) that I believe was passion fruit flavored. It had a bit of granola. That was great! We also ordered the soufflé. I'm not a big soufflé guy but man, it was AMAZING. Maybe the best thing I had here! Definitely get it.”

“The overall experience was excellent in the V-Lounge. Our server (Dio) I believe was her name was excellent as well. She had good recommendations for the teasers (apps) and the sushi rolls. We would definitely return and hope Eddie's continues to offer this option in the future.”

“I was in town for my daughter's 14th birthday and Norman's did not disappoint. From our initial greeting to the final goodbyes, the team at Norman's was flawless. We were promptly sat upon entering. Every team member that stopped by our table made sure to wish my daughter a happy birthday. Service was timed to perfection. Drinks were always kept full. Entrees got to us just as our appetizers were finished. Our service team made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. As for food we started with the charcuterie board, blue crab beignets, and the pork belly. All 3 appetizers were amazing and perfectly portioned so we could all enjoy some. I had the yellowtail snapper as I've heard that Norman's has the best yellowtail snapper and this could be the best filet of fish I've ever had. Highly recommend trying this fish out if you're a fish lover as I am. We also had the filet mignon and the Mongolian tomahawk pork chop. Both were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. We also enjoyed au gratin potatoes, creamed corn and lobster Mac. The creamed corn was the only item in the entire experience that I didnt care for because it had a pepper taste to it and that's not what I was expecting. Lobster Mac was great as was the au gratin potatoes. For dessert, they brought out a platter as a surprise to all us with my daughter's name written on the plate. That was a super cool touch and made the experience that much better. Not to be outdone they also brought us passionfruit creme brulee, key lime pie, cheesecake and tiramisu. Each of these desserts were delicious. Sadly I was able to taste but not indulge as I have to watch my sugar intake but the rest of my party loved each option given. I can't say enough how great this dining experience was to those that I know so I wanted to share what an outstanding job Norman's did for my family and how special they made my daughter feel. True hospitality is hard to find these days and Norman's did a fine job on this visit.”

We had pasta, a giant chicken Parm with a ricotta meatball as an appetizer and enjoyed a butter cake for dessert. I don’t know if the truffle oil is for me I like a really creamy Alfredo, but the meat ball and chicken were so tasty. Even the managing partner, Philip and the manager, Jeff introduced themselves. We had the price fixe Land and Sea and opted for a tomahawk ribeye which was done as I prefer with little seasoning and salt. The mushroom bisque soup was flavorful. Our waitress, Dana was attentive and professional. I would definitely come back because Del Frisco’s will probably cost us twice as much.”
