“We got a barbecue combo for two, and the food was delicious, and quick to make. Since we had never cooked these specific meats before the waiter volunteered to help us make sure everything was ready and even showed us a couple of different ways to cut the meat to get different kinds of flavor from the short ribs. Overall the service was good, fast, and very helpful. Will definitely return. And the barbecue is definitely a little pricey but they give very generous portions, and you can take whatever you don’t eat home, so it’s more than worth the price. Don’t miss out on the desert either, the Korean fried pancake is amazing.“

“Great Korean BBQ! The meat was fresh, flavorful, and fun to grill at the table. The service was excellent—staff were very friendly, attentive, and quick to help with the grill and bring out sides. They checked on us often and made sure everything was perfect. Definitely recommend!“

“I am so happy that my favorite tofu stew place was open for lunch. Got to see Cherry and her sons who are the owners. Kevin, Jericho and Jerome are the three brothers that run this place. They are the nicest family run restaurant. I love how generous they are and how hard they work everyday. I’ve frequent here with my family for awhile. They have the best tofu soup. I always go with the assorted tofu soup and their popular stone bowled bibim bop. They also have really good galbi (marinated steak) and variety of side dishes. All their veggies are fresh and their dishes are authentic Korean. I love it so much! Thank you for making my day!“

“We already love Shin Jung, but, sadly, we aren’t there as often as I’d like. The food is fantastic, atmosphere is casual but comfortable and the service is friendly and efficient. I had the Dolsot Bibimbab served in a steaming, sizzling hot pot—beef, mushrooms, sprouts, cucumbers and shredded g carrots and radish. It was delicious on its own but adding the table sauces made it sing. Along with entrees comes a variety of Korean sides as is typical for this cuisine. It included, fish cakes, potato salad, paper thin sliced pickled radish and three Kimchi preparations—classic cabbage, as well as cubes of cucumber and radish. If the food wasn’t enough, our server, Julianna, made our lunch all the more pleasurable with her sweet demeanor and friendly nature. And it wasn’t just us. We watched how she served other diners with the same affable, yet professional treatment. Remember when I said we don’t get there very often? Well, when we walked in, Julianna (without knowing us at all) greeted us like we were regulars coming in for the hundredth time. It’s hard to put a value on that kind of welcoming feeling and it seems to come naturally for her. Thanks Julianna! Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Food was delicious and service was excellent. I came with red meat eaters and opted to have something vegetarian. I was able to order off the a la carte menu and they made a veg bibimbap with tofu which was very tasty. They were also conscious of letting me know which items have shellfish due to my allergy.
The others got the all you can eat option and raved about the beef and pork, but the beef bulgogi was the standout that was ordered the most.“

“Amazing experience at So Gong Dong Tofu & BBQ! The food was delicious as always — rich tofu soup, tender BBQ, and fresh side dishes. Special thanks to James and Karen for their outstanding service — friendly, attentive, and made our meal even better. Highly recommend!“

“The fact that this joint is inside an Asian market was such a fun surprise! I got cold noodles, mul neungmyeon, which were refreshingly and delightfully cold and crisp. The level of crunchiness from the cucumber and pear were peak crunch. The noodles were so soft but unbreakable! It was definitely a slurp'mania. I'll definitely be coming back again.“

“Let me tell you something… these Korean wings are on a different level. Like, seriously. I’ve tried plenty of Korean-style wings from different spots, and bb.q Chicken just walked in, kicked the door down, and claimed a spot in my Top 5 without even trying.
The wings arrived perfectly crispy, and coated in that flavor-packed sauce that hits you with sweet, spicy, crunchy goodness all at the same time. You know that moment when you pause mid-bite to appreciate life? Yeah, that happened. More than once. You can tell they take their wings seriously... and I respect that.
If you’re craving wings that actually deliver on flavor, crunch, and that signature Korean kick, bb.q Chicken East Colonial is absolutely the move.
Easily one of the best. Highly recommended!!!!“

“It was my first time here. Place is cozy, clean, and well designed. Kpop music on the background and huge tv with artists. I visited on a random weekday evening so place was quite and many seats were available. Right away a lovely server came to offer drinks. And patiently waited for our order,
meanwhile bringing side dishes. Food came super fast. I got kimchi fried rice to my surprise plate was huge (idk if it’s authentic size you get in Korea). Person with me got bulgogi and rice side plate. I definitely enjoyed it but some flavor was missing. For two people it came out $60. And the rest was a takeout. I definitely recommend to check it out!“

“This is the first place that I've had fried chicken that taste as good as the fried chicken in Saint Lucia in the Caribbean where I'm from! This Fried Chicken is so good I went back twice in the same weekend!!! Great service as well, especially a young man who knew alot about the different menu items! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU STOP IN IF YOU'RE IN THE ORLANDO AREA LOOKING FOR THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN AND GREAT SERVICE!!!“

“Anyone who gives this place less than 5 stars must also not like beautiful sunsets. They are the type of people that hate babies and puppies you know.
The food, amazing
The service, felt like I was at my Italian grandmother's.
The atmosphere, similar to a 7 day paid vacation.
I can't give this place enough kudos.
Only negative is the the food is too good and ruins every other restaurant in the area.
This place is a gem.“

“Hidden Gem! My first time eating there and the wings were amazing. I tried the garlic honey Korean style, the sauce wasn't out of a bottle. Home made, I can wait to go back.
FYI clean bathroom and spotless eating area. Don't let the location fool you.“

“This Volcano Hot Pot and BBQ was the best our family has been too. The service today was impeccable. The food was fresh. The selection was large and they did not rush us or freeze us out. Even when there were some rude patrons, the team worked together to make sure everyone had what they needed. The sweet tea was not diabetic. The food was flavorful. They did not let our paper burn or our soup burn. This is by far was the best hot pot experience we have had yet!“

“Food tasted really good, just have a few complaints. I got a burrito with chicken and it was pretty much all rice. There were only a few pieces of chicken on both sides of burritos. The nachos were undercooked and a lot were floppy. Other than that it was all good food.
PARKING
Your options are street parking or the plaza next to it. At least some of the spots are only for the office from 8am to 3pm so there shouldn't be any issues there.“

“Finally, we don’t have to travel to Atlanta for Korean BBQ spot that has charcoal! The meat quality and selection was amazing and the side dishes were legit Korean offerings! The beef ribs, bulgogi, galbi, steamed eggs, cheese corn, and kimchi are a must! Definitely recommend and will be back!“

“The donuts are soft and chewy, not greasy at all , they really remind me of Mister Donut in Asia.
Our favorite was the Potato Mozzarella Dog: the outside is like crispy French fries, super crunchy, and the cheese inside stretches perfectly. Absolutely delicious!
The space is small but very cute, and the girl who served us was very friendly, which made the experience even nicer.“
“Once you navigate through the various rules associated with the all-you-can-eat menu (explained by the server), be prepared for some awesome Korean/Sushi cuisine! Come hungry to get the most bang for the $50 per person. Our group tried a combination of meats and sushi. I gorged myself on tuna nigiri, which was very good. The meats were also excellent. I particularly liked the marinated sirloin. Salad bar and bread selections were good. Our waiter was attentive, which always makes a big difference.“

“Been a local favorite of ours for several years. Recent ownership change is resulting in significant smaller portions. Manager simply thanked me for the feedback so that she could tell owner. Another employee told us that smaller portions has been a recurring complaint since ownership change.“
