“10/10! The Berkwood St Louis Sticky Ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and so flavorful that we found ourselves talking about them for days. The Hamachi Carpaccio was another standout, with the ponzu sauce and kefir lime oil perfectly complementing the yellowtail. We also enjoyed the Garlic Togarashi Edamame and Shrimp Tempura. I loved the Bee My Honey cocktail—it had just the right amount of sweetness for my taste. My fiancé ordered the Kabooki Old Fashioned and liked the mix of ginger syrup and cherry bark vanilla bitters.

The restaurant itself has a contemporary vibe, with low lighting and an intimate atmosphere. The service was great, and we’ll definitely be returning.“

“There was a storm hitting Orlando, but the only dark, grumpy place was hidden inside of my very soul. At Maxine’s you eat vibes, relax on liquids and project your desires into a nirvana of kindness. Mr Maxine made sure to show me his dogs photos, looking forward to prove that it is the coolest canine in the world. Apart from that fail, because Nala Maria has my heart AND a gold medal for the best dog on earth, everything else went smooth like butta. There was a couple smiling, celebrating that they are about to get married, and the girl started to walk around asking elders for some tips about successful marriages. “Another local legend in the books for me. I don't know why it took me so long to come here, but in terms of word-of-mouth, this place is like in the top five of popularity. So I grabbed some friends and went to see what this place was all about.

Ambiance is very good. It's like a Hispanic dive bar. Very tight and comfy and with very fun artwork all over the walls. It's counter service, and has an open kitchen. Very nice employees all around, and you can see the gang having fun in the kitchen, just creating a good vibe.

As for the food, well, it was out of this world. There are 10 main tacos on their menu, so we ordered one of each, of course. Because if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing.

The menu said that these are corn tortillas, but there's something special about these corn tortillas. They act like flour tortillas. They are very soft and fold very well. I didn't have one break on me the whole time. Very good tortillas.

As for the fillings, they really give you great bang for your buck. The tortillas are filled up and couldn't get any fuller honestly. High quality stuff. Every ingredient tasted very vibrant and fresh.

And unlike other taco shops that just give you different combinations of the same eight ingredients five at a time, this place has unique ingredients for each one of their 10 tacos. Something small, and maybe not everyone would notice, but I noticed, and I thank the Black Rooster.

Looking back, I couldn't possibly remember all of the tacos and describe all of them, but I will highlight some things.

The Chicken Tinga was the biggest surprise for how good it was compared to initial predictions.
The Atlantic cod in the Crispy Fish taco was amazing. It's a fatty enough fish to really be something substantial.
Don't sleep on their vegetarian options. Their smoked kale was omg, mind blowingly good.

I finished up with a Tres Leches Cake (3 milk soaked sponge cake). This was ok. If you're a tres leches fan, but don't want to order too many tacos, for fear of not having room for dessert, just get the taco.

Overall, I understand now. This place was amazing. It's not even fair how much better it is over all other taco places in town.“

“All around perfect experience. From the service to the food itself, it was fantastic! The menu is tapas style, so I recommend getting at least 2 plates per person. There are tons of options and it spans from different styles of food — Puerto Rico, Cuban, etc. — which is really cool if you’re into trying new things! “Had the Magical Dining menu and picked the torched salmon for appetizer. Had the St. Louis Sticky Ribs for entree. Good tender meat and great taste from the crispy tempura, tossed in smoked chili hoisin sauce. I had the C4 for dessert which is chocolate lava cake with dulce de leche, vanilla ice cream, chocolate ganache sauce. Very good. The only bad thing is it took long for my dessert to come out and another 5 to 10 minutes for my friends dessert to come out.
The place is really dark. Had a little trouble reading the menu.
The meal portions are small but good quality from this Michelin rated restaurant.

Went as a group of 6 and we spent pretty close $500 when the smoke cleared, but we may have gotten carried away with the drinks. “Uncle Julio’s is one of the restaurants me and my family go to often last night the service and food wasn’t up to its usual standard, I was disappointed but Gabriella one of the host was so caring and kind she went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience and really hearing out our concerns. Although there was quite a wait she even offered us water and chips while we waited for our table, I can’t say I’ve ever had that experience with a host before. She even checked up on us often. Also shoutout to the two servers that were by themselves although they were under a lot of pressure they still managed to serve with a smile“

“We arrived early and left our bags at luggage check. They texted us a short while later and let us know our room was ready. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite facing Volcano Bay. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the views were amazing. We never heard any sounds from other guests but, we did hear the music coming from the Volcano Bay. I was able to text to ask questions and get answers within a couple minutes. It was our first stay on property and we will definitely be back. Absolutely loved everything about Cabana Bay. I would recommend to anyone.“

“I came to Universal one day with an out of town friend. We lucked out, the park was decently empty, and we got on a lot of rides, didn't wait in too long of lines, and ended up with some time to kill. In that time, we were hungry and got some lunch. So we came to the Leaky Cauldron. Where else would a couple of wily Slytherins get a bite to eat?

So we got in line, looked at the menus, decided what to get, and got seated. The way this place gets people in and out in a hurry is actually pretty impressive. Hurried service, but the staff was all very nice. No issues.

As for the ambiance, well you're in a castle-esque structure. Towering ceilings, giant blocks as walls with pictures and posters hanging askew as the décor, old school looking tables and stools, it's all themed very well.

As for the food, I ordered the Beef, Lamb & Guinness Stew (Served in a warm, crusty bread bowl). I couldn't turn down a bead bowl. I never can. The stew itself tasted very good, and it's overflowing out of the bread bowl, feigning that there's a heap of food inside, but alas, there was not.

The bread bowl itself was certainly crusty, as advertised, but it was all crust, no soft. The stew did not readily get sopped by the bread bowl, which I thought was strange. But anyway, before I go down a rabbit hole, let's just leave it as this place was good. Would return.“
