- Food is amazing about as close to sushi in Japan as you’re going to get.
- Matcha S’more is a great way to end the meal.

Cons:
- The time window is a little short. Feels like a 70 minute experience that has to be completed in 60.
- The standing sushi concept is a bit strange. If it’s to try to mimic standing sushi spots in Japan…those are often causal $5-$10 meals in small markets with space for stools/chairs. This is a $100+ dinner in a building that has plenty of space for seats.

“The food was absolutely delicious, especially the yellow tail tartar fire. However, the service could have been better. We felt rushed and didn’t feel as welcomed as we would have liked. The fried Yuka with tuna was flavorful, but the Yuka bite was too large, overpowering the taste of the fish. These are just a few suggestions to improve the overall experience.
Despite these minor issues, we’re definitely coming back to this location!“

“We had a great experience while here on Spring Break. Joel “Is Blowing Up” our chef was hilarious and kept the energy up the entire time he cooked for us. “I'm definitely giving this place five stars because the tuna tartare was one of the finest dishes I've ever had. It was truly incredible and worth coming back for by itself.
The hand rolls were very good too, but I think I just learned that I'm probably not much of a hand roll person. I was expecting a little more in the way of house-made sauces or extra flavor components. Most of the hand rolls are simply filled with the fresh fish mixture you order, and then you're left to dip them in soy sauce and wasabi. The quality of the fish was excellent, so this is more about my personal preference than anything else.
That tuna tartare set the bar so unbelievably high that it was hard for anything else to live up to it. I'd absolutely come back, and next time I'd probably order the tartare again and explore more of the menu.“

“The atmosphere was gorgeous. They also have an outdoor patio area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, explaining the setup and how it works to order what is right for you. And the food... was not what I imagined at all. It was AMAZING! And beautifully arranged. Every veggie and seafood item was very fresh! I give 5 of 5 stars. I had tempura shrimp, crab salad, extra tempura shrimp, red cabbage, carrots, scallions, and eel sauce. The bowls are $16 a piece, but good size portions. Will definitely go back 100%. I wish I had taken photos before I devoured it. Lol Thank you guys!“

“10/10! I would absolutely recommend the Nona bomb!! (Deep fried stuffed avocado with krab, tuna, drizzled with spicy mayo and eel sauce). Plum wine is even better! Went in today for an early dinner and got to be seated at the bar right in front of the sushi chefs. Ordered 4 rolls and definitely didn’t expect for it to be served on a sushi boat❤️❤️❤️ fish was impeccable and extremely fresh. Service was very top tier and didn’t have to ask for anything. Brought my husband here expecting him to only like the Nona bomb, ended up buying 4 rolls, a bottle of wine, he loved the food so much he even got a bowl of (new) ramen after! “Our daughter surprised our family with a visit to this restaurant as a big birthday gathering and it was by far the best sushi we had in the city. The chefs were beyond phenomenal. Food was immaculate and incredibly fresh. The manager Jay was extraordinarily kind and friendly as well as Erika and our server Alicia. All of them were incredibly attentive and ensured our maximum comfort throughout the experience. Truly unforgettable and made a lasting memory for us as a family.“

“I initially was a bit hesitant to the idea of a revolving sushi bar, mainly due to concerns about freshness etc. At Kura, the fish always tastes fresh and prices are fair. I personally go for the nigiri, and with no filler ingredients like cream cheese or avocado, it’s hard to cover up low quality fish. Every piece I’ve ever had here has been great. I would definitely recommend. Can’t go wrong with any of the food options. Sometimes special ordering on the tablet is the way to go if you know exactly what you want. Staff are friendly and it’s usually quick to be seated, but during busy times it can be a 30 minute wait or so.“

You order a maximum of 2 pieces at once, and it's made to order in front of you. No frills or fancy sauces, just traditional nigiri. The chefs are fun, and we've gone twice in 2 weeks. Highly recommend making reservations. Cost can add up quickly depending on which pieces you order.“
