It’s a order at the counter and then eat in place so the atmosphere is appropriate to that.
Glad I tried it. Not sure why people have it less than 5 stars as it was better than expected.“

- Food is amazing about as close to sushi in Japan as you’re going to get.
- Matcha S’more is a great way to end the meal.

Cons:
- The time window is a little short. Feels like a 70 minute experience that has to be completed in 60.
- The standing sushi concept is a bit strange. If it’s to try to mimic standing sushi spots in Japan…those are often causal $5-$10 meals in small markets with space for stools/chairs. This is a $100+ dinner in a building that has plenty of space for seats.

Overall though, I’d definitely recommend and come back.“

“The food was absolutely delicious, especially the yellow tail tartar fire. However, the service could have been better. We felt rushed and didn’t feel as welcomed as we would have liked. The fried Yuka with tuna was flavorful, but the Yuka bite was too large, overpowering the taste of the fish. These are just a few suggestions to improve the overall experience.
Despite these minor issues, we’re definitely coming back to this location!“

“Boku Sushi Maitland is my new favorite sushi place. I tried two rolls, Drama Queen and Foxy Lady. My husband had the Beef Wagyu. Our friend had the curry and EVERYTHING was delicious!!! Even the miso soup was very tasty and fresh. Ben our server was informative, personable and attentive. We spoke with Miller, he gave us more interesting information about the restaurant and asked about us and where we were from. Highly recommend!! Loved the food and the eperience!!!“

“We have been going to Kobe Steakhouse for several years. Each time we go it has been a great experience. The food is wonderful and the staff are amazing. For the past 20 years we have requested Chef Fuji. He is so fun and really engages with everyone. Chef Fuji always gives us a 5 star experience! I can't leave a review without also mentioning a server who we almost always get, Kevin. He does such a wonderful job and always makes us laugh. Tonight was our sons 21st birthday and the staff, as always, made it a wonderful memory. I can't recommend Kobe Steakhouse enough.“

“Have eaten here many times and am always very happy with the experience. One of my favorite places to bring friends.

With the Handroll format, it’s hard to cover up poor quality fish, as there are no filler ingredients such as cream cheese, avocado etc. to cover things up. While I love those ingredients, they don’t let the fish shine. The handroll format, much like nigiri and sashimi, truly honors the fish you are eating. Each roll is so fresh, with crispy nori and delicately prepared quality fish. I generally don’t care for nori, but at Mosonori, I LOVE it. The freshness really does matter. The flavors in each roll are perfectly balanced, in my opinion most don’t even need any additional soy sauce.

I’ve eaten at quite a few other handroll spots across the country that are doing the same kind of dining experience, and none have come even close to Mosonori.

The handroll sets offer great value for impressive, quality fish at reasonable prices. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.

The vibe is calm and quiet, so it is probably best to be a smaller party looking for a relaxed evening. However, it is still suitable for both a quick chill lunch, or a nice dinner out with your partner and/or friends. I have shown up in a baseball cap+ shorts and tee, but also in dress attire, and have never felt out of place.“

“Our first experience was a hit here. We had 5 or 6 different rolls and all exceeded our expectations. Portion size was fantastic, flavor was on point, and the service was awesome. “I initially was a bit hesitant to the idea of a revolving sushi bar, mainly due to concerns about freshness etc. At Kura, the fish always tastes fresh and prices are fair. I personally go for the nigiri, and with no filler ingredients like cream cheese or avocado, it’s hard to cover up low quality fish. Every piece I’ve ever had here has been great. I would definitely recommend. Can’t go wrong with any of the food options. Sometimes special ordering on the tablet is the way to go if you know exactly what you want. Staff are friendly and it’s usually quick to be seated, but during busy times it can be a 30 minute wait or so.“

“We discovered this place while looking for somewhere with a decent chicken tempura and we ended up sampling a few things. Everything we tried from the rolls to the chicken to the soup were good. And the portion sizes were real nice as well, ended up with enough food leftover for a whole nother meal. Prices were reasonable as well. Definitely will be coming back.

The only knock, if I had to give it one, was there seemed to be only one server working there (there was a now hiring sign in the window so maybe that's why) and things came out a bit slow, but not like in deal breaker way.“

“We came here because of the positive celiac safe ratings and we’re not disappointed! The outside is very deceiving because it is small and not fancy but inside is quaint and minimalist but cute. They serve only bowls but the options are extensive. They are very well versed in food allergies and sensitivities, which was a relief as we have a family member with celiac disease and unable to eat dairy and soy as well. The cashier checked with the chef several times to ensure the ingredients met their restrictions and assured us that all precautions would be used to avoid cross contamination (separate prep area, glove change, etc). The portions were huge and they were delicious! The Korean fried chicken was good but very sweet, so be aware of that. The beef was so good! Cooked perfectly and very flavorful! Beware that parking is very challenging as they share a tiny lot with a cross fit and other businesses. We got lucky to get the only handicapped spot for my mom otherwise there was no parking. Definitely recommend to come here and we’ll be back to try more options!“
