“I started going to Athena’s when my son and family first moved to Maitland over 17 years ago. Since 2018 I went there at least once a week. Having to move back to Connecticut, I miss their chicken so much. My grandchildren know when I come to visit that is the first place I stop to eat. Their chicken is always so delicious and moist. I wish they would open a place here ❤️“

Now, the bar outside has arguably the best bartender in the area and abroad. Steph is the bomb. Followed her from another establishment to this location. Amazing person, and great bartender. “Atmosphere needs more stars!!! Rumor has it, This bar was originally in Ireland, was dismantled and moved across the pond to the hotel. I Have frequented this bar on and off for over 20 years. While they made some changes several years ago, that did not “help”. It’s still a great bar, and they do pour a perfect black n tan!!!!! 😁

They changed the shepherds pie recipe, and the price!! the new recipe is still awesome, the price, not so much. Ha! $24 for what was originally a low cost meal

“Great food, but take it home the seating area is small and it's hot inside! The portions are more than generous for the price. I had the Shrimp Lo Mein combo which includes an egg roll. Very well done!“
