“We love this venue! 😁💕 I could write an essay about how much fun we have at Good Times, but will try to keep it short - They have fantastic live music bands to dance to on the weekends, a beautiful, wooden dance floor, a terrific variety of food and drinks, wonderful, friendly staff and the owners are super attentive and sociable. During the week, they offer an interesting line-up of different events; from beginner partner dance lessons, a D.J.’s Music, “Ladies Night”, and more live music on certain days of the month. They’re always mixing it up and keeping things interesting and there’s always something going on! They have a large group of regular patrons, us included, and when you get there, it feels like everybody knows your name! 😁🎉🤩👍💕🎶 If you haven’t figured it out by now, we highly recommend giving this place a visit. 😁👍“

Now, the bar outside has arguably the best bartender in the area and abroad. Steph is the bomb. Followed her from another establishment to this location. Amazing person, and great bartender. “Very friendly staff and our server was exceptional. She was kind, knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. The place was clean and the table was equipped with plenty of utensils and napkins. The food was fresh, delicious, and large portions good for sharing. The menu offers a little bit of everything except seafood. I am a seafood lover and it was a little disappointing that shrimps was the only option on the menu. The pork orderd was great, soft and full of flavor. I have to mention that the dessert menu is very small (2 items) but good. It is interesting how the tables are equipped with needed items to cook yourself options. Heads up no knives provided. They have karaoke on weekends, it was nice. There is plenty of parking and with good lighting if visiting at night time. I will come back and will recommend it to family and friends.“

“This place is a blast. Eat before/after, or bring your food and chill at a Hightop. A cousin in town recently told me about a similar establishment in Columbus, OH and I wanted to check one out. She found Pups Pub with a quick google search and off we went. Entry was painless and simple. Reassurances that canine patrons are vaccinated and spayed/neutered are very clear. Happy hour is more than fair. They have games on site, a really great indoor and outdoor seating areas, lots for the pups to do and they all seem to know eachother and get along great. I came without any animals and was warmly welcomed by everyone on 2 or 4 legs. I honestly had the time of my life just playing with everyone’s dogs and could have stayed there all night.“

“We don’t venture downtown Orlando much these days. Unfortunately, the city leaders have been slowly destroying what was my late night home in college. But we happened to be down there for a concert at the Dr Phillips center and had a chance to check Nuri’s out finally!

Vibe was so great. You can see the thoughtful design all throughout the restaurant. We loved the quirky setting and the food was just as good.

“The Other Bar is a downtown Orlando staple located on Wall Street, surrounded by a cluster of other bars. The name isn’t just clever—it’s called The Other Bar because it’s the only bar on that stretch owned by a different owner, which already gives it a bit of its own identity.

This place is very much a local favorite, and for good reason. I’m a fan of the complimentary popcorn (simple pleasures matter), and while the bathrooms might look a little scary at first glance, they’re generally clean—which honestly puts them ahead of many dive bars downtown that barely qualify as functional.

The space itself is bigger than it initially appears, almost deceiving when you first walk in. Over the years, the interior has seen steady upgrades, and it shows. The stage is well lit, and every Monday I frequent their open mic—an event that’s been running for decades and continues to be a cornerstone of the local comedy scene.

There’s also an outdoor patio and bar area, which adds a nice option when the weather cooperates. One moment that really stood out to me was Thanksgiving, when they hosted a Friendsgiving and fed all the comedians who regularly perform there. It was genuinely generous and speaks volumes about how much this place values its community.

All around, The Other Bar feels familiar in the best way—a reliable, welcoming spot that supports local talent and keeps evolving without losing its soul. It’s a place I return to often and one I’m glad still exists downtown.“

“On vacation at a near air b and b with my wife and 4 kids (9,8,5,4). This place got recommended by a local as a “place with games for the kids”.

Fusball, darts and golden tee kept the kids busy as mom and dad got a drink. Pro tip bring cash for the quarter machine.

Staff was overall friendly and tolerant of the kids. I don’t believe we ate here so not commenting on that.“

As the clouds shrouded the sky, I stumbled into this saloon for shelter from the impending Burning Rain of Death. The rake behind the counter, Garret, kindly offered me a libation to which I vehemently obliged. Before the cold glass met my lips, I was frozen in my chair by the sight of a wicked woman with fiery hair the locals know to be Winnifred. We spoke wildly into the night of spooky dino chickie nuggies, Disney +, Malibu potions, and cauldron maintenance, of course. She lent me her boOooOooOok and I would love nothing more than to return it to her, as it won’t stop staring at me. The white Russian was unlike any other white Russian I’ve ever had. Days later, we are still talking about it and can’t wait to go back for another. We planned on having just one cocktail and ended up staying for a second because they were so delicious. The bartenders were friendly, the bar was clean and so was the bathroom. I see a lot of reviews complaining about the noise. Yes, the music was fairly loud, but we could definitely still hear each other talk and it didn’t bother us at all. We can’t wait to come back and try the food as well! I want to gatekeep this place so bad- but sharing it with others means more.“
