“We came here because of the positive celiac safe ratings and we’re not disappointed! The outside is very deceiving because it is small and not fancy but inside is quaint and minimalist but cute. They serve only bowls but the options are extensive. They are very well versed in food allergies and sensitivities, which was a relief as we have a family member with celiac disease and unable to eat dairy and soy as well. The cashier checked with the chef several times to ensure the ingredients met their restrictions and assured us that all precautions would be used to avoid cross contamination (separate prep area, glove change, etc). The portions were huge and they were delicious! The Korean fried chicken was good but very sweet, so be aware of that. The beef was so good! Cooked perfectly and very flavorful! Beware that parking is very challenging as they share a tiny lot with a cross fit and other businesses. We got lucky to get the only handicapped spot for my mom otherwise there was no parking. Definitely recommend to come here and we’ll be back to try more options!“

“Tried Shen Tea for the first time and it was so good! We ordered a waffle and a Korean corn dog, and both were fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. The waffle had the perfect texture, and the corn dog was cooked just right. The drinks were delicious too, and the staff was friendly. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving boba and tasty snacks. We’ll definitely be back!“

“I am so happy that my favorite tofu stew place was open for lunch. Got to see Cherry and her sons who are the owners. Kevin, Jericho and Jerome are the three brothers that run this place. They are the nicest family run restaurant. I love how generous they are and how hard they work everyday. I’ve frequent here with my family for awhile. They have the best tofu soup. I always go with the assorted tofu soup and their popular stone bowled bibim bop. They also have really good galbi (marinated steak) and variety of side dishes. All their veggies are fresh and their dishes are authentic Korean. I love it so much! Thank you for making my day!“

“We already love Shin Jung, but, sadly, we aren’t there as often as I’d like. The food is fantastic, atmosphere is casual but comfortable and the service is friendly and efficient. I had the Dolsot Bibimbab served in a steaming, sizzling hot pot—beef, mushrooms, sprouts, cucumbers and shredded g carrots and radish. It was delicious on its own but adding the table sauces made it sing. Along with entrees comes a variety of Korean sides as is typical for this cuisine. It included, fish cakes, potato salad, paper thin sliced pickled radish and three Kimchi preparations—classic cabbage, as well as cubes of cucumber and radish. If the food wasn’t enough, our server, Julianna, made our lunch all the more pleasurable with her sweet demeanor and friendly nature. And it wasn’t just us. We watched how she served other diners with the same affable, yet professional treatment. Remember when I said we don’t get there very often? Well, when we walked in, Julianna (without knowing us at all) greeted us like we were regulars coming in for the hundredth time. “We had the Bulgogi (Grilled Beef with special sauce) and the Dwe Ji Bulgogi (Grilled Pork with special sauce). They come with four small dishes put in the middle to build your own special food. It was absolutely delicious. To me it was eight different meals; the pork with each of the four elements eaten separately and then again with the beef. We had the Mul Man Doo (boiled beef & vegetable dumplings) as an appetizer and that was awesome. We are definitely going back. We are recommending this place to our families.“

It is very authentic and good without being incredibly overpriced or unwelcoming. Harry and the rest of the staff are wonderful and we enjoy every meal that we have here. “I saw this place on a local You Tube (Trey Daze) channel and though I disagreed with one of his chicken wing choices he does like some of the same places I frequent. This was an excellent recommendation and his video gave me that extra nudge I needed to experience what is this har my favorite wing in Central Florida. I like spice so I got the red hot, and even with the sauce on it and driving from there to work, the chicken was still crispy. Pork dumplings were also delicious. I am old enough to remember 10 cent wing nights but now 25 seems like an old fable. I do wish wings, livers and gizzards would come down again, but since we are paying more it’s good to make sure that you are getting quality and this place is so far above average that I wish they would open one in New Smyrna or Daytona.“

“This Volcano Hot Pot and BBQ was the best our family has been too. The service today was impeccable. The food was fresh. The selection was large and they did not rush us or freeze us out. Even when there were some rude patrons, the team worked together to make sure everyone had what they needed. The sweet tea was not diabetic. The food was flavorful. They did not let our paper burn or our soup burn. This is by far was the best hot pot experience we have had yet!“

Your options are street parking or the plaza next to it. At least some of the spots are only for the office from 8am to 3pm so there shouldn't be any issues there.“

“I’ve been to this location several times, and it’s hands down my favorite place for chicken wings! The Korean-style double-fried wings are always perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The Honey Garlic wings are absolutely the best I’ve ever had, they’re seriously incredible. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and worth coming back for.
